It's videos like these that make me envy those who have big bass boats. There's no way in heck anyone with a sound mind would dare go bank fish in a place like that, let alone wading.

I think it could have been a flathead catfish, I've caught a 28.8 pound one on a bass combo, and he bit it very shallow and then went deep. And that shad thing is an American shad, also known as a skipjack, they make wonderfully catfishbait.

Yes that was a big shad you caught not sure it was a gizzard shad though, kind of looked like a big threadfin shad but didnt see it that well lol.
I think I’ve caught one before had a lot of people say it was a skipjack😂
@@LoganAndersonFishinga possibility but i don't think the coloration was correct for a skipjack and the fins didn't look correct lol.
