@15:38 If you read the manual, you'll see that you can change the sound to just beeps or to silent. Just hold the >3 seconds to cycle through the available settings. One caveat is that I think the setting resets to the default after every power-cycle, just like the keep warm temp.
@@notyournormalnerding4040 after this I disagree.....have you seen the videos on the lid replacements and also the lining disintegrating after a couple of years?
All things deteriorate. If plastic is turning to powder, the water has corrosive stuff in it. I would be more concerned with what's in the water more than plastic. Replace the lid before it looks like the one in the other video would be my recommendation.
@@notyournormalnerding4040 All things do deteriorate, however, the manual doesn't really say to open up the lid and check the inside now does it? Corrosive water, I live on the west coast and our water is considered soft, government advisory is good to drink from tap, of course I always boil my water first until i got curious one day and took it apart because i saw little specs floating on the water inside this hot water tank....u think they might put a little bit more warning?
@@notyournormalnerding4040 Obviously we are getting off topic here, at the end of the day I think the manufacturer needed to at least warn consumers even in fine print that failure to routinely check hard to reach spots of their products could lead to potential health hazards. Of course, ingesting plastic is a chronic condition, hard to prove in court...but I already know I am not the only one encountering this and I don't think it's my negligence causing the deterioration.
What a waste of my time! this gentleman is so verbose, repetitive and long-winded. Ugh. NEVER in the video did he show the unit up close! Ugh 🙄🙄 Horrid review.

Great for a break room at a company.
Thank you
Thank you!
Do you know where I can find a repair part for the inner water boiler?
easiest place to find parts would be ebay.
@@notyournormalnerding4040 just found out the pot is 145 to replace.....jeeze...
my experience with this product line: worth the cost!

I am aware of it. I have had mine for over 6 years without either problem. Originally attributed the problems to how people use and maintain them.
Does the lid deteriorate and we all be drinking powder plastic? th-cam.com/video/A6Q6SYsnf9s/w-d-xo.html How often do we need to replace the lid?

"good to drink" doesn't mean that it has zero contaminants. Boiling water just kills organisms. You can't boil lead out of water.
