    I own a Subaru Outback and I can tell you all Subaru are fun to drive, well balanced, all their car line up are 5 star rating when it comes to safety, and in case of frontal collision, the engine will sink under the floor and will not endanger the life of the driver. These are athe reasons why Subaru will continue to use the boxer engine. Also the acceleration for this engine is quick, direct, symetrical, and no vibration. All Subaru units will satisfy your driving needs most especially the SUV and wagons because of the space they can offer.

    I've driven this WRX Wagon and this thing is surprisingly quick and I've fallen in love with it already!

    Thank you for your report and test drive. Please bring this WRX Wagon to the USA. I'm drooling!! The Subaru of America CEO was introducing the new Crosstrek at the Chicago Auto Show the other day. He stated the Crosstrek is Subarus largest seller. What is the Crosstrek?? A WAGON yet we can't have the WRX Wagon. I am sincerely jealous that you get to drive this great wagon. Enjoy. Love the video and I guess I'll have to dream.

    Subaru 's CVT are actually pretty good. They are very well tuned for the lack of better term.

    Great video, however I'd tend to disagree that "vented brakes" is the most important safety feature in a car. Most family SUVs and crossovers don't have the level of venting in the WRX, are we considering those vehicles less safe? Extreme venting is only necessary when you drive a vehicle hard, which you're not doing with a family. Crumple zones, airbags, intelligent engineering and material selection. That's what really counts, don't get it twisted.

    Apart from the need of an eyeshadow to make the headlamps look closer to the grille, the WRX Wagon is really what people should opt for when in need of a wagon or anything the like. Still looks as fun as how WRX's are with more creature comfort to make it liveable.
    Tho I just hope that big-a$$ screen would really last long given almost every option is now integrated in it. Probably one of the few things that will make someone think twice about this and a Mazda 6 Wagon, undeniably the more practical choice.

    I really like wagons. Especially the BMW's. I prefer their trunks over sedans.

    Subaru uses a Box Type Engine (or Flat Form Engine). Is the maintenance expensive compared with the standard engines we use here in the PHL ?

    • @vwrxlasvegas
      @vwrxlasvegas ปีที่แล้ว

      If u not racing it, it's maintenance is just like normal gas engine!

    I'd like to own a Subaru sedan in the future. But Japanese car prices are getting ridiculous especially in this economy in my honest opinion that sometimes, even if you can technically buy it, the price tag that comes with the prestige will keep me from ever thinking about owning one. And I hear he the host spoke about practicality? Maybe he's right, but for me I don't see it. For me practicality doesn't have to mean parting with Php 2,658,000.00 for just having extra room in the backseat. I'd rather have 2 cars for that price and that's what I call practicality.

    Why can't we have the Hatchback WRX in Canada and USA if the hatchback platform has already been researched-and-developed anyways ? It does not make any sense. Is it to sell more crap SUVs instead and not lower the sells in that SUV segment of the market ? (cause you know... mericah!). I will never ever buy a SUV. So I kept my 2008 Impreza 2.5i Hatch (in manual transmission, of course) because of the practicality of the large trunk (not wanting a SUV lunchbox-on-wheels shit vehicle instead) and I also bought a 2021 STi sedan (also a manual transmission, of course) because I grew up watching Collin McRae and enjoy driving and feeling the road. But a hatchback STi or a hatchback WRX would be amazing, especially in manual transmission. Heck, if the base Impreza hatchback was still available in manual transmission, I would of probably have already bought a new one and let go of my 2008 Impreza 2.5i Hatch MANUAL TRANSMISSION that is getting quite old now. Fuck the CVT/SPT. Screw the SUV crap fashion, give us more options for the small but practical and fun to drive hatchbacks and manual transmission. I'm even considering getting some other vehicle brand now for a practical but small hatchback... Mayve a VW Golf ? a Honda Civic ? A Mazda 3 ? A Corolla GR ? Subaru of America is starting to disappoint loyal costumers.

    WTF is a WRX with CVT only???

  • @mmccbb7mcb278

    Avoid a DCT transmission like the plague.
    Subaru’s CVT trans is a great piece of kit and is quite possibly the best CVT on the market.
    This from a Subaru driver who has owned 5 with CVTs.

    If u are a car reviewer u should know better that Subaru users dont buy Subaru by its looks. Again as a reviewer you should know that WRX are Rally Cars that's why their are "garnish and claddings" Performance and safery matters most if you want Subaru.
