Greece forever means that this small place in the world still gives talented people in every aspect of life. This is our nations legacy,to give more than it takes.
This guy is humble. He is not a snob. And he is not high on drugs sweating. He is young and versatile. He looks good.He don't need no bucket of chicken hat.He is more interesting than any of the greats.
Man I cant compare Buckethead with Zakk Wylde or Gus G maybe his a little bit better from gus but zakk's level is higher.Furthermore Buckethead does only effects and shitty things with chickens and all this shit he doesnt know his techniques and stuff...It's like you have money but you think you re poor...!
His solo is so authentic! He's not trying to impress, he's just doing him and he's loving every second of it. The authenticity in this solo is amazing, nothing is forced, nothing is cocky, just an awesome solo by an awesome artist!
Impressive...Gus is a breath of fresh Air, you can tell he has respect for Sabbath, playing an Iommi lick at the end of his SMOKING guitar solo..He more than holds his own with ALL of Ozzy's past guitar players. Gus G is a monster player.
Ya im pretty sure all the older people would. But Gus G brought so much life back into ozzy's band and created better songs with him also. He's a amazing guitarist...
Why does there always have to be little girls arguing about who's Ozzy's greatest guitarist is? Who cares? Ozzy finds the most unique guitarists. Lets agree on that and just enjoy the music the God father brings us... :)
JonahLukeHeavyshield thats exactly right!! Each bring their own unique style and energy to the table and have amazing talent!! P.S. jake is number one!!
he is not only a great guitarist but also a great song writer...If Ozzy let him write the songs for his next album i am sure that we will have propably one of the best albums that ozzy ever made...
He did an awesome solo! It was cool to hear some Yngwie influence in his solo, especially that tapping part, it was very Yngwie from Steeler during the 80s! :D
I don't think so He's one of the only guitarists I can think of that really stands out with his own personal shredding style and techniques Yeah I know we got guys like Loomis and Laiho whom also is part of the "New style of shredding" But I just think he can stand out among the crowds
Is it just me Or is this a fucking power demonstration that Gus G is just about the only guitarist of this generation that is most likely to be remembered as "The guitarist of that time" ?
I remeber when i heard enter sandman, it made me want to play guitar. Watching Gus just, like, makes me want to wwork harder and learn to play even better, which is amazing cause im lazy as fuck when it comes to learning
Zakk is not a guitar god, be foreal, he just fits better with Ozzy. Only Randy Rhoads and Jake E Lee are guitar gods. Zakk is good don't get me wrong but he's just an average player, Gus is more technical, I play guitar and I can tell.
Ozzy knew what he was doing when he hired this guy. Suddenly his band is ALIVE again. I'm sorry, but Zakk was dead boring the last few years that he was with Ozzy. If there hadn't been a change I probably wouldn't have gone to see another Ozzy-gig ever again. Thanks to Gus G, who brought some ENERGY back into the band, I'm going right out on the road this summer to check out 6 shows all over Europe. Sometimes things have to change. This time it was for the better.
Brad Gillis has a monster of a solo that's out there...the Oz knows how to pick em. He went to war with Randy Rhoads, Bernie Tormé, Brad Gillis, Jake E. Lee, Zakk Wylde(5 times), Steve Vai, Alex Skolnick, Joe Holmes(twice), Jerry Cantrell, and now Gus G...WOW!...just think of all the other musicians he penciled in. He sold out then and continues now. Would have loved to seen Tormé solo tho.
Fucking badass and world class👌🤘!!! Lol Cousin Gus cant help but do the Unca Yngwie face when he burns the legato riff @ 1:48. If it aint broke dont fix it😎🤘
I think so too. I mean, I'm sure the man played plenty of Ozzy coming up, like most metal players from his era. And he'd jam on something like "Over the Mountain" or "I Don't Know", even "Miracle Man"...but I'm sure this is a question only Jeff himself could know the answer to, of whether it could work out or not. And of course, the boss man, Ozzy.
Zakk also did some solo's in his early days that were inspired by Randy Rhoads. If that plane crash did not happen Randy would of gone on teaching music by leaving Ozzy which Ozzy has said numerous times that is what Randy wanted to do. If Randy was still alive would you be saying the same thing?
Greece forever means that this small place in the world still gives talented people in every aspect of life. This is our nations legacy,to give more than it takes.
Ozzy always finds great guitarists.
Yeah, that's what makes his whole career
When he finds one he just dumps them as if nothing happens.
This guy is humble. He is not a snob. And he is not high on drugs sweating. He is young and versatile. He looks good.He don't need no bucket of chicken hat.He is more interesting than any of the greats.
I agree on the first part of this statement
He came at cassells hamburger today very nice guy!!!
The man in the dark will bring another big mac
Buckethead would still kick ass without the bucket.
Gus G is one of the best guitar players alive today! Amazing musician with a killer tone!
Gus has a CONFIDENCE, that he BELONGS in Ozzy's band...You can see it on his face and in his playing.... Refreshing
Oh my fucking God, Randy would be more than proud. Brutal guitar playing, this guy is amazing

All Ozzys guitar players are equal in their own ways. There drummers and bass players need just as much credit . They deserve it

Gus G is awesome!
I can see he has more techniques to utilize. I desire to see his full potential.
I will one day perform with this Guitar Hero.
he is not only a great guitarist but also a great song writer...If Ozzy let him write the songs for his next album i am sure that we will have propably one of the best albums that ozzy ever made...
THANK YOU ! MY FRIEND !
GUS G ! ROCK GOD
MY NEW HERO
I want gus back with ozzy plu heaven
He did an awesome solo! It was cool to hear some Yngwie influence in his solo, especially that tapping part, it was very Yngwie from Steeler during the 80s! :D

Just WOW :O
He's just perfect.
I don't think so
He's one of the only guitarists I can think of that really stands out with his own personal shredding style and techniques
Yeah I know we got guys like Loomis and Laiho whom also is part of the "New style of shredding"
But I just think he can stand out among the crowds
Amazing Guitarrist
Is it just me
Or is this a fucking power demonstration that Gus G is just about the only guitarist of this generation that is most likely to be remembered as "The guitarist of that time" ?
Insane.
a true shame he never got chance to create any new material with Ozzy
Ozzy always has great guitar players. Reminded me of Zakk at first.
His style look like some Van Halen stuff. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
Nop his style looks mor like . Zack Wild
@1:48 and 3:07 sounds like yngwie
Now this is rock!
i was there for this
legendary
Good for ozzy. what a tremendous guitarist he is got
Best guitarist
The tapping part is awesome.
If there was ever a guy who could play every era of Ozzy tastefully. It was Gus. G.
And he didn't even get to write an album. Shame really.
1:48 Yngwie Malmsteen epic lick!!! forever!!!
the best
WOW...\,,/
He's Holding the Devil's Guitar 🤘🤘🎸
damn what a tone!
02:40 The Don't Thread on me was invented !!!!!!
of course he does!
I remeber when i heard enter sandman, it made me want to play guitar. Watching Gus just, like, makes me want to wwork harder and learn to play even better, which is amazing cause im lazy as fuck when it comes to learning
Way to go Gus. Zakk`s a God, but you`re fresh blood. And old men always have to respect great talents.
Zakk is not a guitar god, be foreal, he just fits better with Ozzy.
Only Randy Rhoads and Jake E Lee are guitar gods. Zakk is good don't get me wrong but he's just an average player, Gus is more technical, I play guitar and I can tell.
Μου φαίνεται ότι το είπες λίγο ανάποδα γιατρέ.
Like a boss!!!!
Ozzy knew what he was doing when he hired this guy. Suddenly his band is ALIVE again. I'm sorry, but Zakk was dead boring the last few years that he was with Ozzy. At 2:18 i swear you can hear Ozzy say "That was shit" Have a listen
Hahah I heard that too!
I heard "one more shit" )
Бабин Кирилл Yup its def "one more shit"
Nate Fontana It's Ozzy, i'm just not sure what he says
It was not the camera guy cuz it was over the PA system.
Gus G seems like he does crazier solos than Zakk Wylde.
this is who pantera needs to fill in for dimebag
don't even compare gus g with zakk, gus g is a metal virtuoso. Zakk is not bad but hes not in the same ball park as Gus.
Gus G =Κώστας Καραμητρούδης. born 1980 in thesaloniki Greece
αντε τι ειπες τωρα
Never heard anyone cover Rat Salad before. Very cool. New respect for Gus G.
00:42 - guitar is going, "play me already!"
I remember watching a interview of Ozzy he said something like he was starting to sound like Zakk's band Black Label Society and he did not want that.
Brad Gillis has a monster of a solo that's out there...the Oz knows how to pick em. He went to war with Randy Rhoads, Bernie Tormé, Brad Gillis, Jake E. I'm si fuckin drunk and this is amazing I don't want this shit to end!!!
Hellls Yeahhhhh!!! Gus!!! Van Halen BAK???
Interesting....never analyzed it that thoroughly...Will check it out!
and Thanks for the input!
He is good guitarist.after 2 3 years he will be welcome to Megadeth 👍🤟🤟
I know Right!!
I saw this guy live and I was like who is that? Then he played after and completely showed Slash up!
Toca muito, Gus G Mito
Asombroso!!!
Bad ass guitar player
Fucking badass and world class👌🤘!!! Lol Cousin Gus cant help but do the Unca Yngwie face when he burns the legato riff @ 1:48.
If it aint broke dont fix it😎🤘
3:05 - 3:22 he was paying homage to Eddie Van Halen
It's actually from Yngwie Malmsteen I think
its the intro to "hot on your heels" , Yngwie
A vida de Ozzy é muito reservada
3:06 - 3:21 god i wish he continue play that lick :(
🦅💎⚡️🎓
2:42 Savatage?
I think so too. I mean, I'm sure the man played plenty of Ozzy coming up, like most metal players from his era. And of course, the boss man, Ozzy.
@blazeblue777 yeah he is
were not worthy, were not worthy!
@deltaforce2024 didn´t know that.. is that lick in any yngwie song?
Zakk also did some solo's in his early days that were inspired by Randy Rhoads. If that plane crash did not happen Randy would of gone on teaching music by leaving Ozzy which Ozzy has said numerous times that is what Randy wanted to do. If Randy was still alive would you be saying the same thing?
To hell with zakk
Wow
Great comment my friend.
I live the comments. How many guitarists are needed to change a lightbulb? 20. One to change the bulb and 19 to tell him he could’ve done it better.
Is the riff at around 2:20 from any particular song?
*Трэшшшшш+!)))*
Man, you kids are easily impressed nowadays!!
Rhandy would be proud
@eastwoodize this lick is in most of the songs from yngwie
