Best guide ever. Only had to watch this entire guide twice and then I could nail the entire trial in 2 attempts. (So I watched it once, then I did one attempt, looked up what I failed on the previous attempt thanks to the chapter stuff it was made super easy to figure out where we were and what I did wrong) and then just do it well the 2nd time.

This was my first ever EX trial and I was able to beat it in 1 lockout with this guide. Very well explained, the pictures helped a lot too. Tip for SMN: make your Simmons small with /pet size command. I couldn’t see the mechanics clearly with my summons on default size, but was much much easier after changing to small.
To this day I sincerely believe you had the best E11S guide - and now you've just made the best guide for this fight. Got my PLD weapons after only 3 clears. Only took a few hours to prog! Keep up the great work o/

Suggestion that worked well for me, instead of going clockwise start in east and follow the glowing crystals. Red or Purple is _always_ glowing and it allows melee to cheat to where they know one will start. Otherwise you'll need to search from Northwest -> East clockwise for the first glowing crystal.
it *seemed* to me that it was always the three north or three south. our first few kills we were all over the place, so i eventually just hard commited to having everyone rotate CW so that we didn't have dps on crystals that were tethered because we weren't moving in sync

I switched from MTQ to you, not only because you actually put stuff out in a timely manner, but because you're really good at explaining things (and you have a really nice, soothing voice haha). The diagrams help a ton as well. I still need to actually DO the fights a couple times to understand them, but having such clear tutorials definitely helps, so thank you!
Thanks for the guide! I wasn't quite gauging the difference on light waves if it was the wave pulse or the crystal but the LoS makes much more sense now.

Went completely backwards did zodiark first so now I have all these acc and no weapon. Feels bad but good at the same time. Haydaelyn is definitely the more relaxing of the two to me.
Honestly there's really not much in the way of mechanics for the zodiark extreme. There was only really one thing in it that me and my pug had to learn when doing it blind, and in the end it only took us maybe.. 6-7 pulls until we cleared. Honestly considering it was my first dive into harder content since early Eden's Verse, and my first raid on both a melee and a new job, I appreciated the easier difficulty to it.
A tip for aureole - when it's not lateral, look at the little arrows on the side of her targeting circle - these are the safe zones. Little details and tips like these helps a lot with explaining :3
for the extreme difficulty, if you have not tried this level of content before, it will probably be challenging, but it is a learning process for everyone. I would suggest if you have some people in your FC to help teach you, running with them, or finding a learning party. you can follow for much of the fight, but you will want someone who is the same role as you, and in your stack group, for some parts for this to work, and if you heal that won't really work. there are also parts of the fight with spread mechanics, so following is not viable there either. it's okay to follow when lost/while learning but you will want to learn why people go where they go as fast as possible, to give yourself more time to react to mechanics and to prepare yourself for the more challenging content that this is the first stepping stone for. don't get discouraged if it takes a lot of practice, many have been practicing this content for a while so it will seem like it is easy for them, but everybody starts from knowing what nothing in the fight does to mastering by the same process.
