The music choice was kind of a joke with our membership since aerifying fairways was long overdue. The last shot was taken about 10 days after the process was complete. I made the video originally just to show our membership the process behind verticutting and aerification since most of them were at work while we tore up the short cut.

They verticut the fairways, circle tines cut grooves into the fairway removing thatch and help with grain issues, circle cutting with fairway mowers next this really helps with grain issues or grain issues They may Develop from burning in the stripes over and over. They most likely topdressed after. Also they broke up the cores after aeration, they also blew off the thatch from verticutting.

I'm laughing so much watching this video thinking about blowing plugs off mega fairways with a backpack blower and having to use walk behind corers and verticuts from the 70's. Oh darn the top dresser is broken too so we're gonna have to hand shovel the entire back 9.
The brown is dirt. Aerated core plugs pulled up from the machine you see cutting the cores from the ground. Then the next machine grinds the dry cores up. Then they blow the ground up dirt off. Read the steps in the description.
The joke was that we had not done this process in such a long time and we were finally getting to do it on the short cut. The music was kind of a joke with our membership.

I have a blast. Every day presents new challenges and projects. Graduated with a degree in Turfgrass Science and started working at golf courses.
