Can't this TV automatically connect to HDMI when we turn it on? Do we switch from the "Live" tab every time we open it?
I think i just bought the 55" version of this tv. Do i have to faff about with setting the tv up, if i am just going to be using Sky TV via HDMI cable?

If you haven't already bought a TV then I would recommend going for an LG QNED or Samsung Neo QLED especially if you have a PS5.

I bought the 50" version and I'm incredibly disappointed. It has awful blue ghosting when watching movies, especially around peoples faces when they move that for me it's unwatchable. And yes the Software is slow, sometimes it takes 10 seconds for the settings menu to load up.
Stay away from this tv.

Hi there, sadly you just went a little too fast for me. I had already set the tv up at home but was completely confused how the remote worked and am finding it very difficult to simply turn the tv on and find a standard tv channel. Your voiceover told you what to do, but not how to do it and without seeing what buttons you pressed on the remote i was completely lost.
Some reviewers are saying the software is slow, but it seems nippy and responsive enough in this video.
Also, some sites say all sizes of this panel are IPS except the 50" which is VA.
Martin Dawes on the other hand just told me that the 55" is VA.
LG seem to deliberately not publish this crucial information.

Can I ask can LG Channels be uninstalled, here in the UK any livestream means buying a tv licence and I have no intention of doing so. Legal as long as I only watch on demand and no livestream of any kind as well as iPlayer and BBC 1. so to prevent the goon trying to convince me I need a licence being able to uninstall this channel may be neccessery.
They have no right to come into your house or check your channels. They do know when you watch bbc i player though.
Thanks I won't watch British Bullshit corporation channels out of principle. 30 thousand people rallied yesterday in London 23rd 09.2023 for re-join EU. BBC are in government pocket, which is why they get away with abuse, fines and court charges, clamed to be the news yet did not air this. The march was covered in Italy, Greece and even Australia, France and Spain but not in the UK apart from the Guardian,
