If WWE was so affected that they were cutting people left and right and they're a billion dollar publicly traded company. If they were affected by it, AEW is certainly being affected. They don't have as much revenue from the fans and live events so the shows and PPV events are where they get the bulk of the money. Back before the pandemic hit, both companies and their tv contracts could probably afford to take some hits when it comes to people uploading stuff. Nowadays, not so much and they have to be less lenient on what they'll let slide.
