- Hi everyone. Today I am sharing my 1CC of Mushihimesama Ver. 1.5 Original difficulty with commentary. This clear took me about 4 weeks of practice. Not the most clean play, but I hope it helps others to get over some stepping stones. Thank you for being here!

Great job clearing this and excellent commentary! I always love hearing how you break down the experience and run. The stage 5 music in ver1.5 is my favorite in the game. Stage 4 music is super enchanting and a fantastic stage - plus nice break after the wild times in stage 3. Super stoked to see you have cleared this since the journey is a challenge the first time! Mushihimesama was my first Cave game so it definitely took me a while but it was such a blast!
Thanks for your kind words, Dace. The music of stage 4 reminds me of Final Fantasy 7, which is nice! Overall the quality of this game is just off the charts. I am very happy about the clear and looking forward to whatever the Shmup journey might bring.

Dude congratulations! I actually love how you handle stage 4 midboss pattern 2. I normally end up trying to play jumprope with the stream and risk a tight dodge so I’ll try this out on my own! Also very strong decision making throughout the second half. Being able to ignore enemies is a skill I haven’t sharpened too much haha.

Hey Jermanator. Thanks for this awesome comment! It makes me proud my happy that you found something valuable in this replay. I was fiddling with the S4 mid Boss quite a bit because I wanted so safe resources. I did the jumprope as well, but struggled with pulling it off consistently. Let me know if „my“ method worked for you. It is also possible to go between the two streams with this method, but I ignored it completely at one point.
I will definitely watch your 1.0 clear and also Eschatos will be something I will watch in the future. Thanks again for your kind words!

Frickin awesome run. Your clearing of the stage 4 dragonflies was near impeccable!
It sounds like the arcade clear was a good bit more difficult than the novice clear! For me, execution seems to be the most difficult thing about Mushi... it's just surprisingly tricky.
Anyway, I really enjoyed your clear and commentary, and your shout-outs to me were totally unexpected. I'm happy I could encourage you. Consider it paid back because you've encouraged me to go for the Mushi Original clear myself now!

Hey Eric. Thanks for your comment. Glad you liked it! Your video regarding the scores, came at the right time. So I kept that in mind to share the great advice and give the credit you deserve.
The jump in difficulty was quite high. The speed and density of bullets increases and you get clipped easily. Sometimes I thought I get nowhere, because I died at places I thought I’d already figured out. I agree, that the game is tricky and sometimes it feels you aren’t really in control, but have do dodge random stuff, which is just a feeling I have and no clear evidence.
Overall it is a wild ride, but very satisfying to pull of!
