    Like the snare sounds. Pretty interested in this. Price is little high when you compare it to other drum machines on the market but for modular it's pretty complete package.

    Wish my damn depression could pass. I know this machine has some fun features.. but my dark shadow say 'its shit, complain on it'. I hate not being able to see new things with curiosity. Sigh...

      Dude, I'll be honest with you... it doesn't just pass, it requires a bit of effort and re-training how you think and respond to situations! But the good news is you are able to make it pass and feel better again!
      When you muster the motivation I'd really recommend having a look here:
      www.cci.health.wa.gov.au/Resources/Looking-After-Yourself/Depression
      I really like their information sheets (2nd drop down menu), and a lot of people get on well with the structure of the workbooks (1st drop down menu). There's also some worksheets (3rd menu). Anyway have a poke around there will certainly be some resources you'll find useful here.
      BTW if the first thing you look at doesn't 'grab you' don't give up, most people don't get on with every resource out there, it's a matter of finding the ones you identify with.
      I'd really recommend trying these resources, if you're properly stuck and these are of no use, I'd really recommend some sort of therapy.
      Take care dude and be kind to yourself X

    It kinda feels like worst of both world. It's as unflexibel as a usual drum machine at the cost of modular.

    Thanks Bo!! Just got my first modular modules including some dreadbox ones you have in your rack. Also have the rackbrute 6u so this Drummachine looks like a real addition!

    I like the snare sound. Out of interest, can you Bo (or anyone) suggest a great sounding dedicated snare module with lots of control, something that would complement what I can get out of the TR8 & TR8S? Thanks !

    Sorry if you said something about this and I missed it. I've had bad experience with Endorphines modules being extremely noisy (esp. Milky Way). Does the BLCK_NOIR suffer from this problem too or does it seem ok? It looks like it may have the same effects built into it as the very noisy Milky Way.

    • @BoBeats
      @BoBeats  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They actually fixed a fair bit of noise with an update to the Blck Noir. I notice a quite a bit of difference. Didnt feel like speaking to much about it in the vid since most of my experience is post-update. But when I listen back to the first recordings of it there’s a noticble difference. I sampled Blck Noir in my sample pack and I must say I didnt think the noise was bad, except when I put stuff thru like 2x distortion units for some of the sounds. Hope this help to answer. I’d look for input from people who used more of their stuff over a longer period of time.

    • @ed.penkov
      @ed.penkov 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BoBeats My Milky Way is still quite noisy even after the update (I didn't notice any big difference).
      I'm glad to hear that the noise from the Black Noir has been fixed.

    • @BoBeats
      @BoBeats  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good to know! Is it all FX?

    • @ed.penkov
      @ed.penkov 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BoBeats No, different effects have different level of noise (even if no input signal is connected to the module).

    • @dtkincaid
      @dtkincaid 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ed.penkov Same here. The updated didn't really fix much in the Milky Way. I have pulled it out of my rack and it now sits on a shelf.

    Does this module come with its own sequencer/pattern memory? Are there drum-specific sequencer modules?
