I’ll stand up for Prada l’homme! Not exactly exciting, but I could argue it is unique! Not an overplayed DNA like many other designers. Perfect for smelling clean and most people will appreciate it!
Yeah its one of my favorites. I really like the not safe stuff as well but this to me isnt just soapy, its sweet clean iris and i gd love it. the powder doesnt bother me but i can see some people hating that, girls or guys so keep that in mind.
@@geletrode I have it and love it BECAUSE it is safe, and I wear it to the office. I get too much reaction with Dior Sauvage - everyone comes to me and sniffs "you smell nice".
I think the fragrance community gets wrapped up in complex and exciting, but forget that doesn’t always mean a well done fragrance. L’homme is “simple” but it’s perfectly done in its class, like perfect form.
Courtney is amazing at identifying the notes on all of these videos. Very impressive. Also the production design and the attention to detail on this channel is leagues ahead of every single fragrance TH-cam channel out there right now. Do the 2 of you work in the fragrance industry or the news/tv business?? It's just a very tight, professional production. Very impressive.🤘🏼
Bought the dreamer as my first fragrance. I didn’t like it in the start, but oh booooy... Few months later, after trying tens of fragrances, I fell in love with the dreamer. It smells absolutely amazing, but I can see that it isn’t for everyone. It’s a big pity that the sillage is only average.
Definitely care about your thoughts, Teddy. As a man who has been on a fragrance journey as long as you have and developed an appreciation for more complex notes, for me it's important to hear your thoughts. Having you both give your thoughts covers more bases. I remember at an airport years ago I was sprayed with a Dunhill fragrance in a green bottle, it must have been Racing but it lasted for ages and smelt great to my nose. I never bought it but always have remembered... Would you still go with Icon over Icon Racing? Or different Icons for different situations?
I like the tandem conversational approach. It’s very relaxed and goes over well. Honestly I laughed when he stated people were only concerned about what she thought. I wonder how true that actually is?
Maybe because this is for men's fragrance and typically men who wear these scents want a woman's opinion rather than a man's? I obviously don't agree with that mindset because I'm not a man lol but i could definitely understand his thought process
Dreamer 🧡 love at the first sight. First sniff and that was it. Never happened with any frag till today. Black XS is near but totally different vibe. From '90 Dreamer is must have on my shelf. It's like inventory of my home.
Great vid guys! I honestly really enjoy Prada L'homme. It's sophisticated and luxurious for the modern man. I also really enjoy Lalique Encre Noire Sport and Dunhill Icon, although I don't currently own those two. Keep up the great content!
I'm gonna have to vouch for L'eau Bleue, for the price it is unbeatable. Quality & unique composition. Also, there's nothing sporty about encre noire sport, maybe if librarians played badminton in the forest 🤣🤣 Great list btw!
For the record, I care about both of your opinions--not just Courtney's. I wear frags for myself, and I wear what I enjoy, so having two opinions is better than just one. Thanks for the great videos. I'm interested in watching the channel grow.
Wow, I'm surprised you included L'eau Bleue D'yssey in this list! I barely see it mentioned anywhere. I myself got it from my dad's small fragrance collection. Great video in general btw!
Never heard of The Dreamer before. Was at Ross the other day and saw it. Looked up the notes and blind bought it. For only $30 it was a steal. Love it. Wish I knew it before it was reformulated. Maybe they will come out with The Dreamer Extreme (or The Extreme Dreamer). lol
Hey teddy. I think Bvlgari’s man Wood neroli makes for a great spring scent as it has that classic Eau de cologne DNA on top of a slightly sweet woody fragrance. Makes perfect sense for summer as well, one of my favourites of recent times.
right now, my go to spring fragrances are: Prada L´Homme Prada Amber pour Homme Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme The Dreamer 1 Million Lucky Le Male On Board D&G The One Grey Montblanc Explorer I also have some niche fragrances for spring time. But this is about designers (I am trying to update/expand on my warm weather fragrances as well, so it might change in the near future)
Loving the videos from you two! And of course we value your opinion, Teddy! Happy you finally got Courtney on the Vetiver train ;) Terre d’Hermes is a modern masterpiece. And you got me back onto Encre Noire Sport-it’s a deft combination of aquatics and woods (and that’s saying something coming from a Florida guy in a polo!). Finally, I’m totally with you on the banal Prada L’homme-Amber pour Homme is way more interesting for a fresh soapie!
I think Terre d'Hermes is one of the most pleasing scents. you might not be *blown away* by it, but it's hard to offend anyone with it - and it can work in many different environments/situations.
Both of you each picked a favorite from the list. I love encre noire sport and terre d'hermes. They are on my rebuy list. Just got a backup of encre noire sport today in fact and my terre d'hermes bottle is 200ml
L’eau Bleu d’Issey is a fantastic Soring scent… Right up there Green Irish Tweed and Chanel PE.. Nice list.. The Dreamer is often overlooked nowadays. Still a great scent.
Our guy who mans the men's fragrance counter at our local Dillards in Waco has a small vented shaker of coffee beans to "clear your nose" after each smell. He tells me it 'resets' the brain for each test. And how about the person's chemistry affecting the impact on the sampling nose? "The olfactory nerves are the only cranial nerves that are directly attached to the cerebrum without stopping at the thalamus." Wikipedia I'm sure you have read or heard of the famous "T shirt" studies. When I was young, many moons ago, I use to wear Old Spice and get girls to talk about their fathers and their childhoods. I called my approach "The Un-line" like the "un-Cola" Worked often enough but I discovered not all girls had happy childhoods.
If I had to wear only 5 for life, Prada LHomme would be one. But you have to spray it aggressively…and it isn’t so safe anymore. A guaranteed compliment if you spray enough. It makes me smile every time I spray it.
Great video and Teddy's picks are surprising but understandable. Top 2 picks would be Cartier's Declaration d'un Soir & Hermes Terre d'Hermes, staples in my collection (I also have the Vetiver version of Terre). I find that Cartier's Eau de Cartier is a more sophisticated & subdued take off Issey Miyake's flagship EDT with yuzu notes (even with reformulation, it's a cloyingly assault on the nose). Would gladly give up the 4 Issey fragrances in my possession to trade for Ambre Noir from the same house and on my wishlist the next time I find myself in Japan (a unicorn in N America unless you want to turn to eBay).
I am totally flipped from Teddy on Prada L'Homme and Encre Noire sport. I disliked the EN sport enough i gave it away and i have backup bottles of prada L'Homme. Terre D'Hermes is great stuff too but smells even better in the air. You got a lot of classics, love to see some brand new stuff as the channel grows and yes Teddy, i like to hear both yours and Courtney's opinions.
Love the channel guys keep up the good work. Can you bring back the performance of how long each cologne lasts please? And yes teddy your opinion does matter. Thanks guys
Wife likes Encre Noir Sport... I'm not a big fan... I heard a certain fragrance reviewer (smooches) describe Versace the Dreamer as "garbage water" lol... I don't agree.. but it doesn't get a lot of wearing out of my collection
YSL L’Homme Ultime is my go to springtime fragrance. Other solid choices would be Acqua di Gio Profumo, Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme for some of the brisk days in early spring and Tom Ford Grey Vetiver.
Funny, I also love the TF one and I too first smelled it at a Sephora! Also, my wife doesn’t love it as much as I do, I think it just appeals to some sort of masculine archetype in my head. I also have and love the Declaration D’un Soir, and use it a lot in the fall because there is a dark-earthiness underneath the rose that gets brought out in wet/cool weather. Also a good replacement for when I want Toy Boy vibes but I also want to feel more “professional.” You should definitely check out Givenchy Gentleman Cologne (white bottle), has stuff that you’d seem to like, it just doesn’t last very long. Has iris BUT not powdery, more like “boiled carrot.” Sounds weird, but it’s super light and fresh.
Tom Ford Beau de Jour....I can't believe it didn't make it in either of the top 2's. I love that one! I also enjoy Lalique Encre Noire Sport 🌊. I am wanting to try both Dunhill Icon & Hermès Terre d’Hermes 🏀...just not sure which potency on that one. i'm really enjoying your reviews...and yes...we care about both of your opinions!
Versace’s The Dreamer was strong and powerful many years ago before reformulation. Now it is weak and soft. They need to do an EDP or Parfum version and restore this Masterpiece backs to its former power and glory.
I'm actually not convinced that Courtney doesn't like vetiver. She liked Terre D'Hermes and Encre Noire Sport both of which are really heavy on the vetiver.
Well, Teddy, Beau de Jour *did* use to be a part of the Private Blend collection. It was moved to the designer line, just like Ombre Leather and Costa Azzurra were. :)
An idea for you guys (though you may laugh). You could go over Bath and Body works fragrances. I'm in college and they're cheap so I like to use these daily and others like Jazz Club for going out. They're also nice because they have soaps and deodorants in the same scents (though as far as colognes obviously not up to par to what you normally review)
Prada L’Homme is perfect for spring and summer nights and early summer . But Prada Infusion L’Homme Eau is perfect for summer. And hidden jams Prada Infusion L’Homme and Cedre. And for woman or unisex Prada Infusion Iris!
I WANTED to love Icon. The notes breakdown seemed like it'd be perfect for every day. Then my wife said it smelled like Comet scouring powder. And damn....if she wasn't right. LOL
Hey thxs for your spring selection unfortunately I won't be wearing any of your choices as I've line up my choices which are Costume National Homme parfum, Chanel Egoiste Pour Homme, Vera Wang for men, lalique l'insoumis, Cartier L'ENVOL Eau De Parfum, Dior Sauvage edt, Aramis Havana, kenzo aqua kenzo, Tom Ford Grey Vetiver & Viktor Rolf Spicebomb edt. What do you think
Its bizarre to me when people claim Explorer does its own thing. Its one of the best clones i've smelled- meaning it does exactly the same thing- no additional buzz notes.
Would love to see reactions from people about Armani Code EDP… I love it and would like to see different people opinions on it. I get compliments from it. Would love to know what you guys think.
Huge Armani fan also my brother. Armani Code was my first real cologne that I got as a teenager and now I have the original Code EDP, the Absolu EDP, and the Profumo EDP, also have Acqua Di Gio Profumo in my collection and will until the day I die.
I have had Versace Dreamer since the late 90s…It never gets out dated & still get compliments from the ladies !
It’s a classic…love it!
Yeahh,,,
But one must continuosly reapply
Nice scent. Doesn't last.
It's all in the drydown.
I’ll stand up for Prada l’homme! Not exactly exciting, but I could argue it is unique! Not an overplayed DNA like many other designers. Perfect for smelling clean and most people will appreciate it!

it reminds me of the smell of windex and i absolutely love it
Just bought it today!
I think the fragrance community gets wrapped up in complex and exciting, but forget that doesn’t always mean a well done fragrance. L’homme is “simple” but it’s perfectly done in its class, like perfect form.

Encre noir sport is my favorite from the bunch! Absolutely love it - it’s my gym scent!
I care about you teddy 😂❤ please bring this channel back... The fragrance craze is in full force all my friends are getting into the hobby
Definitely care about your thoughts, Teddy. As a man who has been on a fragrance journey as long as you have and developed an appreciation for more complex notes, for me it's important to hear your thoughts. Having you both give your thoughts covers more bases.

I never bought it but always have remembered... Would you still go with Icon over Icon Racing? Or different Icons for different situations?
she is so chill , its insane . love her attitude ( i'll try montblanc explorer )
This is my favorite perfume channel right now )
I like the tandem conversational approach. It’s very relaxed and goes over well. Honestly I laughed when he stated people were only concerned about what she thought. I wonder how true that actually is?

Love this channel. Much better content compared to every other fragrance channel!!
Dreamer 🧡 love at the first sight. First sniff and that was it. Never happened with any frag till today. Black XS is near but totally different vibe. From '90 Dreamer is must have on my shelf. It's like inventory of my home.

Production value of the video is just Amazing.... Great list guys ..keep up the good work
For the record, I care about both of your opinions--not just Courtney's. I wear frags for myself, and I wear what I enjoy, so having two opinions is better than just one.
Thanks for the great videos. I'm interested in watching the channel grow.
I would love a part 2 of this video with feminine fragrances
Wow, I'm surprised you included L'eau Bleue D'yssey in this list! I barely see it mentioned anywhere.
I myself got it from my dad's small fragrance collection.
Great video in general btw!
Both your opinions critically matter. Your work is much appreciated.
Great video 👍 would like to see your niche spring picks
man if you guys put together seasonal sample packs I would totally buy it.
Not sure they really took the time to appreciate it. Comparing it to the lesser quality Dunhill Icon is unfathomable.
right now, my go to spring fragrances are:
Prada L´Homme
Prada Amber pour Homme
Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme
The Dreamer
1 Million Lucky
Le Male On Board
D&G The One Grey
Montblanc Explorer
I also have some niche fragrances for spring time. But this is about designers
(I am trying to update/expand on my warm weather fragrances as well, so it might change in the near future)
Can you tell me something about eau extreme, especially its performance?
Great list! Also great format and overall video quality throughout the channel.
Loving the videos from you two! And of course we value your opinion, Teddy! Happy you finally got Courtney on the Vetiver train ;)
Terre d’Hermes is a modern masterpiece.
Great video! Dreamer is one of my favorites as well. Wish it preformed better but the price is great for what you get.
Great reviews.Enjoy your style. I have Dreamer and just ordered Hermes. Cliff.
I don’t get the soap in prada l’homme and everybody says that. What soap do you use? 😳
Teddy we do care about what you think and I totally agree with you on Prada l’homme. It’s far too boring!
Loving this channel and your format. Please keep the content coming!
I think Terre d'Hermes is one of the most pleasing scents. you might not be *blown away* by it, but it's hard to offend anyone with it - and it can work in many different environments/situations.
Agreed completely. Refined but easy to wear.
Both of you each picked a favorite from the list. I love encre noire sport and terre d'hermes. They are on my rebuy list. Just got a backup of encre noire sport today in fact and my terre d'hermes bottle is 200ml
The dreamer was awesome. Great performance. Now it’s watered down. The fragrance itself was a yellowish color. Now it’s clear as water
L’eau Bleu d’Issey is a fantastic Soring scent… Right up there Green Irish Tweed and Chanel PE..
Nice list.. The Dreamer is often overlooked nowadays. Still a great scent.
Spring scent… not soring.
Narciso Rodriguez blue noir edt is my new favorite spring fragrance.
Awesome video
For spring I use Lacoste White, the only fragrance which got compliments /and I enjoy wearing a lot/
Would love to see a list of the best versatile fragrances!!!
I would love a Guerlain video, but the exclusive line and shalwar and jicky the masterpiece’s
Guy in glasses - GORGEOUS !!!
Have you guys tried Tom Ford Grey Vetiver EDP? I'm a fan and will definitely wear it a few times this Spring. Havent tried Beau du Jour.
Grey Vetiver is great.
Our guy who mans the men's fragrance counter at our local Dillards in Waco has a small vented shaker of coffee beans to "clear your nose" after each smell. He tells me it 'resets' the brain for each test.

we actually care about your opinions teddy , keep up creating great videos
L'eau Bleue d'Issey = YES. Cypress in the spring. Nice. All pretty solid choices.
Very veery nice choices!
I own Dunhill Icon, Mont Blanc Explorer and Lalique Encre Noir Sport and wear them a lot in spring 😎
Great video and Teddy's picks are surprising but understandable. montblanc explorer layered with mancera’s instant crush is wild asf
Time for the winter lineup

Say wha?! I'm rocking Prada L'Homme today and it smells like pure luxury to me 🤷🏻♂️

I care about you! :P You do a great job of eloquently describing a fragrance and your thoughts on it
Tom Ford Beau de Jour....I can't believe it didn't make it in either of the top 2's. I love that one!
I also enjoy Lalique Encre Noire Sport 🌊.
I am wanting to try both Dunhill Icon & Hermès Terre d’Hermes 🏀...just not sure which potency on that one.

Of course we want your opinion too Teddy!!
Versace’s The Dreamer was strong and powerful many years ago before reformulation. Now it is weak and soft. They need to do an EDP or Parfum version and restore this Masterpiece backs to its former power and glory.
They look so uptight, serious and very formal .
Courtney just has very good posture 😅
I'm very surprised to see l'eau bleue d'Issey! I really like that one. I do find it a little hard to wear because it is such a strong green scent.
I'm actually not convinced that Courtney doesn't like vetiver. She liked Terre D'Hermes and Encre Noire Sport both of which are really heavy on the vetiver.
Cmon Teddy, most of your viewers rolled over from your watch reviews. Of course we want your opinion!
Hey guys great video , do you think you can tell the type of guys a women will like by the fragrances she finds appealing ??
Does dunhill icon and the Cartier scent go anamalic in dry down
Well, Teddy, Beau de Jour *did* use to be a part of the Private Blend collection. It was moved to the designer line, just like Ombre Leather and Costa Azzurra were. :)

I WANTED to love Icon. The notes breakdown seemed like it'd be perfect for every day. Then my wife said it smelled like Comet scouring powder. And damn....if she wasn't right. LOL
As people before me noticed, it smells like a urinal deodoriser block
Hey thxs for your spring selection unfortunately I won't be wearing any of your choices as I've line up my choices which are Costume National Homme parfum, Chanel Egoiste Pour Homme, Vera Wang for men, lalique l'insoumis, Cartier L'ENVOL Eau De Parfum, Dior Sauvage edt, Aramis Havana, kenzo aqua kenzo, Tom Ford Grey Vetiver & Viktor Rolf Spicebomb edt. What do you think
Lol... I feel the same way about the Prada. I blind bought then took back. Just meh... Can't wait to try the Dunhill though. Thanks guys.
Can you please tell the longevity on these fragrances too!! I feel it is important pre-purchase decision.
My favorite Versace dreamer
The box of declaration d'un soir was red or black? I have a red box but on the internet I see it's all black
Can you please review BYREDO fragrances. Great job on your reviews by the way. 😁😁😁👏🏼
Love Prada l’homme!
ICON is an absolute banger for the price its selling at discounters!
I like dreamer quite a lot
Teddy I respect your opinion only if Courtney’s isn’t available at the time. Great list and video.
Metadata!!!!! It's so hard to find channel when searching for "Dunhill Icon" for instance. I don't know why. Thanks!
Best cheapie ever : Calvin Klein Reveal (discontinued but available). its my signature scent and I have 4 bottles
The Dreamer is my favourite ✌️😍
Hugo Boss Bottled Infinite is a great fragrance for the spring.
Teddy u look like Orlando bloom and tomholland in one. It’s a compliment lol.
Wood Neroli I’ll will change it with Wood Essence, cuz that make very more sense !
Do anybody know the name of the glasses that he wears?
Can you guys tell us if the perfume for men or women or it is unisex
How does the Tom Ford on this list compare with his "Noir" fragrance???
For the price you can't go wrong with Versace The Dreamer
Teddy has exquisite taste cause he doesn’t like anything basic. I fuck w that
Prada lhomme is god tier!
When you guys say "mature," how old are you thinking? 40s/50s?
Its bizarre to me when people claim Explorer does its own thing. Its one of the best clones i've smelled- meaning it does exactly the same thing- no additional buzz notes.
eau sauvage COLOGNE smells good .... TRY IT.
Teddy looking fresh
