In normal shoes ( not Nike) I’m between 9.5-10. My first AF1 I bought 9.5 and they fit but there’s extra space in the toe box. And the top creased. I feel as tho they could’ve been a bit smaller. So my second pair I bought a 9. They still fit but def more snug. I’m sure they’ll stretch out a bit with wear. The 9.5 also looks like a boat on my foot compared to the 9. I’m debating which size to get in the AF1 sculpt since it’s a “ high top” So, If my “ true size” is basically a 10 and I can wear a 9 I went a FULL size down.

I like to wear them without lacing them up but i can never tell if they're gonna kill my big toe or if they'll be comfortable on the big toe after they break in. It does stretch out a bit over time so inserting a shoe tree could help alleviate the initial uncomfortable feeling but if you are slipping out of your shoe then it wont be terrible sizing down again

In my experience the fit has been similar so you tend to get 1.5 higher than your tts for a women's shoe but if you want a more snug fit only go 1.0 higher in the women's shoe for 0.5 down from your mens size

My tts is EU 42. And my AF1s are EU 42 and they fit just right. EU 41 (which is actually half size down, they do not make 41,5) are way too tight and I cannot straighten my toes in them.
43 on air force 1 will be too big, go down to 42.5, but the best thing to do is just try them on in a store before buying so that you know for sure. I tried my size on AF1 and it feel very roomy and would flop on the heel so I went half a size down and they fit great.
