I bought these just shy of 3 years ago for my '15 Silverado 1500 before taking a road trip back in Sept. 2021. Here's my take on them: THEY SUCK! I have routinely rotated mine approximately every 6-7K basically every oil change (running full synthetic) and I managed to only get about 30K out of them. All 4 tires show significant wear and tear and the outer edge of the tires have already begun to dry rot / crack, which is unreal. I have switched to the Pathfinder HTs and am in love. The tires are beefier, especially on the sidewalls. These UHPs are a mediocre tire.

These seem to have worn prematurely. I’m hoping we can get 30k out of them… the grip is great and the ride is great but the wear… not great!! I’ll have to keep the Pathfinder HT’s on my short list. Thanks!

Was looking at the falkens as a cheaper and good option for my tow n go when these pirellis are done and probably some powerstop ceramic pads as well

I looked at the falkens too… I liked the look of the grabbers more and reviews on them for winter time were great

Our ‘21 SRT needs one Pirelli Scorpion Zero Run Flat ($611 on Tire Rack). It’s almost more economical (and probably will handle better) to just replace all four with Michelin/Continental options. Interested to see how these do for you.

Just did some spirited driving yesterday with the generals… they are softer than the Pirelli’s but they grip fantastic. If you can afford Michelin or Conti, go with them but if you want to save some cash, go with these generals. I was surprised at how good they handle

@@orangeblockgarage I ended up getting one Pirelli and having Tire Rack shave it down to match. The ride is so stiff on these and it jolts on the rough roads. Can’t wait to burn through these and try one of those other options! Thanks and take care.

We bought a 21 with 17k on it and the pirelli feels like shit. Thing follows the grooves in the road. Can't wait to get rid of them. Was actually thinking about going with a taller side wall to help with the ride????

I like these general grabbers. They are very nice. Grippy and soft!

Are these run flats? If no did you find a spot to put a spare? That's my only fear in going to the Toyo Proxies

Did not find a spot for spare… that is the downside

Dude your roads suck!! Lmao it sounds like a techno beat…. Thanks for the advice on the tires I’m definitely going that route. The stock pirelli tires are stiff and noisy. I’m at 20k and the tires are at 30%

Yeah those pirellis are not good tires, especially on the roads we have around my hometown. Lots of ruts and pot holes… these general grabbers do the job well
