Polo 1 liter is a beast but it is no surprise. It is TSI turbo and I heard many people saying that Polo is damn good and Maruti with bigger engines are dumb etc. Please understand Hyundai and Maruti are not for racing. They are cheap cars for ordinary people. Polo is powerful. An insurance officer in Kerala told me that 60% of the overspeeding accidents in south are caused by Polo alone but he added that people survive in Polos. It is a strong car and VW knew pretty well that people wont buy Taigun and Kushaq if Polo is not withdrawn.
