  • 3 Extremely Secret Cars! You Won't Believe Exist!
Get ready to learn about some amazing Secret cars that pushed the limits of speed and design!
First up, we have the Oldsmobile Aerotech from the late 1980s. This car was all about breaking speed records. The engineers used a powerful engine called the Quad 4 and spent a lot of time making the car's shape super aerodynamic. They even added adjustable panels underneath the car to control the airflow and keep it stable at really high speeds. In 1987, the Aerotech broke multiple speed records, with the long-tail version hitting an incredible 275 miles per hour!
Next, let's talk about the 1977 Pontiac Phantom. This car was designed by the famous Bill Mitchell as his last big project before retiring. He wanted to create a car that showed his personal style and future ideas for car design. The Phantom had a smooth, flowing shape inspired by luxury cars from the 1930s. Even though it never got an engine or went into production, the Phantom is still admired today as a work of art that shows what's possible when designers are free to be creative.
Finally, we have the Renault Espace F1, a one-of-a-kind car that combined a family vehicle with a Formula 1 racing car. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Renault Espace, they took the powerful engine from a Williams-Renault Formula 1 car and put it into the Espace. The result was a car that could go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 2.8 seconds! The Espace F1 also had a unique interior with carbon fiber seats and the engine visible from the back seats. Although it was never mass-produced, this car continues to inspire people who love cars and engineering.
These cars show us how designers and engineers can push the boundaries of what's possible when they're given the freedom to be creative and innovative.

The Oldsmobile Aerotech was built for the sole reason of beating Porsche's closed-course track record that had stood for around 20 years. It took a completely new design team to beat what Porsche had done decades ago.

The quad8 was shelved in favor of the northstar v8. That decisions didn't age too well
