  • Creative journaling can be such a wonderful outlet for anyone! There are lots of ways to approach creative journaling included guided journals, bullet journals, planners, and blank notebooks. In part 1 of this video, I am sharing a peek into some of my past creative journaling experiences, as well as some ideas for prompts to cover in your creative journaling. Supplies are linked below!

    I picked up the hello happy journal because I loved all the different page illustrations. But as I began working in it, I found it became redundant. So rather than ditch it, I began collecting prompt challenges and questions from Pinterest and redesigning the pages (with my HP stickers of course!) to go with each of those daily prompts and am really enjoying it. Like a lot of others, I have lots of planners and stickers but not much to plan so Im always looking for other outlets for using the stickers in my collection. Surprisingly, I haven't found much so this video was right on time! 😊

      Love that you are making that journal work for you! I agree that at times those re-occurring prompts can get a little boring, so it is nice to change it up with the ones that you are finding online.

    Thanks. I like the part where you just write down what you were feeling that day. Sometimes it’s enough to just recognize I felt whatever. Then I can go on. I might recognize it is caused by something I need to work on or maybe give it to the Lord and leave it there.

    • @ScrappyWife
      @ScrappyWife  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, I completely agree! Acknowledging where I am starting for the day just helps me take note and then move on from there.

    • @ScrappyWife

      Totally get the time constraints. You have to remember that the journals I share on here are a compilation of a bunch of entries over time. It takes me 5-15 minutes a day for a journal entry. I also tend to do journaling on the go. I am diving into all these details in parts 2-5 of this series on Patreon in the month of March - www.patreon.com/scrappwife

    ⚾️ I track a lot of things in my planner relating to things that happen with family members but I don't think it is creative Journaling. Or is it?

    • @ScrappyWife

      I tend to think of creative journaling in a pretty broad framework. If you are enjoying it and it is sparking your creativity, I think it counts 😉
