Split not yet done if you see the curve. It directly curves towards West- Kolar/ Chennai side. They still need to build the branching that will go South towards Hosur. I thought they said it was 90% done in Karnataka. But looks only halfway through still.

There will be no lane for uninterrupted sustained high speed traffic. Also, 3-4 metres wide single lane is unsafe for 100 kmph continuous run. There will be too many interruptions too often, which means you can hit max speed of much lesser (in a sustained manner). If you want example, check NICE road on western side of Bangalore. 2 lane each way. You will understand if you drive on this road.

Now due to this popularity all the 4wheelers who are traveling to bangalore to chennai and vice versa will take this route and due to 4 way lane the traffic will get piled up.. There should be 6 way lanes

Why is Chennai-Bengaluru expressway just a 4 lane! Even the current available mas-blr high way is a 6 lane way and traffic is sizeable. I'm sure, the trucks are going to choke the lanes and this is a bad idea for an ever busy and fast growing traffic route!
