I just found your channel and I enjoy all you are stitching. I saw the ones you are stitching from Miss Veronique and just loved them. I went on Amazon go order the Christmas book and it said, “Purchased on October 9, 2021”! So, I loved it way back when. After seeing your stitched pieces, I so want to start one from this book! Thank you.
Well Lorene, so good to see you again! Are you ready for this, I made your Christmas crack!! The next day between my husband and me the crack was gone!! Lorene everything is sooo pretty. Thank you so much for sharing with us, you know I love all you do! Much luck in selling your home the right people have to come along for sure. Love you take care until next time.😘
Thank you! You made Christmas crack!! I love that stuff! I plan on making it very soon. The problem is I can stop eating it once I make it. Yes, thanks for the encouraging words about selling my house. Yes, the right people will come along. Thanks again! :)
Oh I love Miss Veronique designs. I'm hooked right now on all her darling patterns. Glad you got the books. I think you will enjoy stitching her sweet patterns. :)
Love love the pillow if you had more you could display them in a Christmas basket love your work😍 wish I had your patience for that small work.thank you for sharing they are absolutely darlings🎄🎄⛄⛄
Love the alphabet buttons so cute. The vintage Christmas children are really cute. They bring back happy memories. Another fun video, thank you for sharing.
Hi Lurene..enjoyed your video and I love your vintage children finishes! I think a good idea for a finish on your long one would be a flat fold to just set on a shelf maybe with a little ruffle around the edge..it would be adorable like that and it's definitely too good to waste..do a search on the technique if you don't know how.😊
Thank you! Oh that sounds so cute! I may try the shelf idea once I get moved and settle in another place. I'm hoping I'll have a sewing room so I can have some shelfs to decorate. Thanks again! :)
G'day Lorene. Another great video. All your projects are lovely. I would love to see you do a video on how to finish your xmas ornaments. Look forward to your next video.
I love your channel! The items you showed on this video are so adorable. I had to order the Veronique Christmas book. The alphabet buttons sound like fun too. Thank you!
I absolutely love the vintage stitches you show! So different and unique. I will be checking out more designs by Veronique Enginger! I love your channel!
Another great video from you! I love those French designs that you are stitching and have managed to find every book you have shown so far! You bring me so much inspiration! Love your tree, tell me about your ornaments with the little girls in blue coats and fur muffs and hats. Did you make them? They are precious! Enjoy stitching until next time!
Thank you! The little girls on my Christmas tree were given to me by my sweet Mother in Love many years ago. She had them on her tree for a couple of years and then gave them to me. I just think they are beautiful. :)
What a cute video! Loved all your stitching, they are all darling! Since your house is for sale would love to see a tour. Would you ever consider doing one for us? And your skin is gorgeous, what’s your secret?
thank you! Oh you are so sweet. I use on my skin different kinds of cream from Clinque and Estee Launder. Usually I buy a product that has a free gift which normally involves a free cream and I use that on my face. So I'm using different ones from those 2 brands. Thank you again.
Another enjoyable video. I am close to ordering one of the Christmas embroidery cross stitch quilt tops.(You have enabled me) I do have a couple of questions. Did you put another piece of fabric on the back of your quilt top to stabilize it and to keep your embroidery thread from showing before stitching it? Would you please explain how you started and ended your thread when doing the cross stitch. Did you knot your thread? I know how to start and stop when doing other embroidery stitches. Does the cross stitch leave enough space to cover a small starting or ending stitch with no knots? Thank you.
Thank you! Concerning the Christmas embroidery quilt. I did not put another piece behind the fabric. It won't show though due to the stitches being so close together. Yes I do knot my thread. I've never tried hand embroidery without a knot. My mother taught me how to embroidery when I was little and she always used a knot. I know the instructions to that quilt said to hide the thread just like you do with cross stitching but I did it the way I've always done it. I've already made one quilt like this and the knots did not cause a problem. Hope this helps. It's a fun project to make. :)
I promise to be surprised!!!!!
Love all your projects.
Thank you my cross stitch buddy! :)
