Thank you all for your sweet comments....Lorene and I definitely are having fun with our many projects and look forward to doing a couple more videos during my visit....may have to change her TH-cam channel to Sew on Wednesday with CAROLYN and Lorene😊 Merry Christmas to all
Thankyou for letting me go on your stitching journey with you this year. Ladies I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year.
How wonderful to see the two of you together again. The special friendship you have is so precious. You can tell that you have so much love for each other. And she loves her special time with you. May you both have the most blessed Christmas ever. Linda from Rhode Island
You need to put the ginger girl with your house, very cute. I love the stitched cards. Oh no, maybe another craft to do. Love your friendship and the fun you have. Merry Christmas 🎄
Another wonderful time spent with you two ladies even if there was little x-stitching. That's how it is sometimes. Glad you enjoyed opening your goody boxes. That gingerbread house is gorgeous and I would never guess it was on a tissue box. Love the Strawberry Sampler. Sue Hillis is one of my fav designers! The cards Carolyn made remind me of string art I did in the 70's only we used thin wood and finishing nails made especially for the craft. Loved it then and loved her cards. I love making Dresdens but mine are sewed on the machine. That's a huge amount and by hand...whew wee! Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and don't get into too much trouble.
Awww you two, I love it when Carolyn comes to stay and play, can just imagine you two with a table full of projects and stuff, laughing and having fun. Have a merry Christmas and Lorene, I hope your husband manages to keep his sanity lol. Good luck with selling your property in 2024. Love and best wishes from UK ❤ (#missharrietsparrow)
Lorene and Carolyn, I have three of those spools. One is smaller, with a pink thread wound around it, and the other two are quite large with holes on top to hold taper candles. I got them at a country store that sold all sorts of home furnishings and custom furniture. Thanks for the video!!
Great video! So much fun watching you two! The sets of quilt patterns are amazing. One grandmother of mine made quilts and I treasure mine and one that was my mom's. I'll find pictures for y'all of what people are doing with the spools/spindles you showed. Have fun for the holidays 🔔.
@@sewonwednesday I heard you say the cotton mills, and mill hill house ❤️ the best memories I tell ya. I’m from Belton, but married and been in Clemson since 2000. ❤️ I can remember stories of getting paid from the mill and going to the mill store to buy flour, sugar for a few dollars ☺️.
Yes, I always grid my fabric, and as I stitch I will cut away parts of the grid lines. That way I will have areas I can count from to make sure I stay on track. It definitely takes time to grid but for me well worth it to keep me stitching well
