YES, I REMOVED all the black backstitch from Lorene's BeMine Cross Stitch....She bribed me by saying she would cook sausage balls again before I return home next week!!!😃
I am eating Sausage balls right now....I actually asked Lorene what else she needed done in order for her to make another batch of her Christmas crackers 😃
I can’t wait for Carolyn to show me how to grid. I have enjoyed every second of y’all filming together. So much inspiration. Thank you and Happy New Year.
Yes, I'm excited about her showing us how to grid. It has really helped me on Oh, Christmas Tree I just started. Thank you and Happy New Year to you too!!!
It's so much fun watching you both show your pieces and hearing you laugh and seeing the friendship come thru. Have you seen the project bags people make with the clear vinyl front which lets you see your current project and supplies inside? Also, mine have a matching charm hanging from the zipper. Some bags have handles at the top, too. I'm fortunate to have a wonderful cross stitch friend I can send fabrics to and she sews up project bags for me❣️I have NO clue how to sew like that! Keep up the great work, ladies! 🙂🙂
So nice to sit and stitch with you two sweeties this afternoon and watch your beautiful video. Thank You for bringing such joy to my life. Love your projects.
I hate gridding but maybe Carolyn will have some good hints. I just feel like I could be stitching instead of gridding. I don't have a lot of stitching time and that's probably part of the problem. I know you can buy some gridded fabric but I think it's all white or solid and I love the dyed fabrics. It should be interesting. I'll hate to see Carolyn go. Have a safe trip when you go back home.
I adore watching you together. What a beautiful friendship you’re blessed with. Such inspiration. Thank you for sharing. Happy stitching and keep safe and well. Love Gail xx ❤❤❤
Fun watching you both, enjoy your friendship. Thank you for sharing your variety of projects. Looking forward to seeing how you finish the Valentine stitches.
I’m loving your videos. You both have been busy! A video on how to make the grids would be great. I love the Miss Veronique patterns. They are adorable. I’ll look forward to your next post. ❤❤
My goal for 2024 is also to finish one large project that I already have started, its one of my oldest wips. I started it in 2000, it was one that my mother liked, but unfortunately my mother passed away and when I work on it I get somewhat sad and a bit depressed. I want to finish it to honor my mother. The piece is called Morning Dew by Bucilla.
Hi Debra! I just looked up Morning Dew and it's beautiful. What a wonderful way to honor your Mother. So sweet. You go girl on finishing it this year. :)
Oh my! I just found you two and now Carolyn is going home!😢. But wait! Can she first come to my house and show me how to make a project bag out of some of my “under the bed box” pieces? Those were so adorable! But I haven’t a clue how to make them or cover the piece with the vinyl - that’s genius! Anyway, loved the video and subscribed and just wanted to say that you two have great chemistry on camera together!👏🏻👏🏻❤️
Opposite side of the US, I’m afraid - I’m in Washington state! Darn! Well, maybe you will do a tutorial on how to do that project bag with the cross stitch piece on the front👏🏻👏🏻
Happy New Year Ladies. Thank you ladies for a lovely video. Carolyn love your project bags. You both do beautiful stitching.Lool forward to the next one.
I could not cross stitch without gridding. Don't know if I do it right. I just made up my own n method but it works for me. Look forward to seeing the right way. Glad to see someone else grids. Not many on flosstube do. I do tend to do larger projects
Hi Mary Lou! I'm sure your method of gridding is fine. Everyone has a method that works best for them. I'm going to start using gridding on my bigger projects also since I have gotten off count on 2 Lavender and Lace patterns already and they are big.
If the Portland, Oregon shop you mentioned is Acorns & Threads, they are a ligitiment shop. They don't keep there website up to date, so a phone call will get you the best service. I live in Oregon and this is the only full service needlework shop in the state.
No that is not the one....someone mentioned the NeedleArt Closet According to L and L current designer she will soon be reprinting a number of some older patterns and will make them available thru LNS's.....I still have plenty others to keep be occupied 😃 I may be in Portland in Spring time visiting relatives so will have to check out Acorns and Threads. Thank you for the info
I can’t believe Carolyn will grid before she leaves. Thank you Carolyn.
