I followed the video pretty accurately, my issues is my characters slots overflow off screen. What do i do to fit them all on screen without starting all over?
Hi I have a problem i wanna import some old mugen characters that i love but i always get errors those characters are from dbz muden 2007 how can i do?
I tried using your layout but for some reason It crops at the bottom and I can't see what stage I choose or alot of the character boxes, is there a way to change that?

I'm in a but of a tough situation at the moment, basically I downloaded a screenpack and it gave me 24x20 characters, so plenty. However, after I add characters to the first 60 slots, it will refuse to display anymore past that point (I will add that I'm using VSelect to add the characters). I changed screenpacks, re-installed, and the issue persisted. Is there a config adjustment that I'm missing?

@@Clinkeroith I figured it out, I had to keep the 0,0 on the Big Portraits section. I'm now editing my Ikemen to my liking with the knowledge I got from this video! thank you
I downloaded the already mugen in the description and how do you put characters in replace of the slots because when I put a character in, it just makes a blank space.
in the random select spots, the chracter folder needs to be the same name as the .def file, so if you have a .def file with broly then the folder should be named broly, and then in the select file on randomselect put broly.def
Slightly off topic but Do they have to be pixelated or can the sprites have clean lines like Skullgirls? Also do you need Notepad++ or can you use regular notepad?

I would like to ask another thing: in my MUGEN of Mortal Kombat I have 3 versions of Johnny Cage (their hypotetical names: Cage, Cage_MK2 and Cage_MK1), but rather than occupying 3 different portrait boxes, I would like to know how to put all 3 versions in the same box and having one key (usually Start) to "cycle" between the versions of the character - like in the PSX version of MK Trilogy, where you could press Select on the portraits of Kano, Raiden, Jax and Kung Lao.
TIP: for those of you who don't want to do the whole process, got to andersonkenya1 (or mugen archive), then go to the SCREENPACKS section. There, you can find pre-modified Mugen's with up to several 1000s of slots. hope this helped someone👍

If your slots go off the screen you can just change rows in [data/big/system] to 10 and it worked for me

some characters come with AI you can set with difficulty, so depending on the character they may or may not have that feature
