I've just started exploring 3D. I have to say that the general superiority of your tutorials (especially the tempo and completeness of the process) was essential here. Still- a year and upgrade later, Adobe managed to obscure some of your processes. Took awhile to translate but was easy because you explained what it was you were doing and why. I'm not a practicing graphic designer but rather a fine artist using vector and machine to further my end results. You are in the center of that intersection. Thank you.
Great, simple and very effective. I've played around with those render settings and I can attest to the fact that having your object too large will certainly slow things down drastically, but the higher settings do make a dramatic difference.
I'm just learning Blender right now so this is a very exciting new feature to see. It's interesting to see that Adobe is slowly but surely integrating 3D elements into all their programs. I wonder if there will be a possibility to import 3D objects into Illustrator as it is possible to do in Photoshop in the future.
@@VisualStory-Teller You can already do that. You can make a 2D path in Illustrator and then extrude it in Blender to make a 3D object or in any other way you would use paths.
It’s good for graphic designer who need simple 3D objects in their designs. Learning Blender or any other 3D program needs time and dedication.. this new tool will be soooo good fr quick 3D assets🙌🏻
Nice video tutorial... I always find it easier to work in Adobe illustrator than Adobe Photoshop, now I've fund a way to render a 3d images better... Thanks Tom🙌
i have my settings set exactly how you have shown. Yet I am running into a issue on the sides of the walls of the pill have little black specs that I cannot seem to realize where they are coming from. Any suggestions?
thanks for the tutorial! Do you know how to upload them to shutterstock or stock agencies? expanding appearance they do not accept designs made like this because they contain fx, how do I upload them?
Is it possible to design one’s material? What’s under the hood in material in illustrator or Substance 3D. We are offered some in the 3D and Material panel, but if you want more selections , there might be a fee in the near future. Thanks for the video 👍
My illustrator (which is the latest) is not showing all the property options for "Handmade Rice Paper." eg. "Paper Color, Roughness, Grain Intensity, and Fiber Length." The only options under Main Parameters are Resolution and Repeat, then it goes into "Position." Any insight?
My colors always change when i change the shape from 2d to 3d , they have like a gray hue in them and they're never as bright even tho the lighting color is white
Someone knows why every time I use 3d in illustartor, appear one message saying that I don't have so much memory RAM, but I actually have a very good pc (3070, i7 and 32gbRAM)

Blender is awesome. But yeah, it is nice to see Illustrator starting to catch up
Legit my question watching this, but in reverse, like if you could set things up in Illustrator, and bring them into Blender.
@@VisualStory-Teller You can already do that. You can make a 2D path in Illustrator and then extrude it in Blender to make a 3D object or in any other way you would use paths.
@@VisualStory-Teller You can export a 3D object in illustrator in the OBJ format. Then just import that into blender
