Yay! I hope you never need to do any of this again! I’m coming to the final four months of treatment and cannot wait to get my port out again. I have so appreciated you advice and support this second time around. Good health to you
I am just one week into having my port and having my first treatment. I was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and it has been so hard. Thank you for your encouragement. I am already counting the days until I have my port removed.
Hi, I can’t wait for you to get that out too! Mine was so weird, each time I had cancer! I did not like touching it and my bra would rub it making it sore. Right now, it’s helping you beat that cancer! But celebrate when it’s out! Much love to you on your journey!
How are you doing now? I’ll be at appt 4 of 6 next Friday. I’m struggling rn between thoughts of being “halfway done” vs thoughts of being “ONLY halfway done” if that makes sense
I just found your channel and I’m so happy I did. You are so genuine and inspirational. I’m 50 years old, newly diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. Most days I’m terrified but trying to keep a positive outlook, people like you help others stay positive. I cried with you when you talked about the port removal. I got mine almost 2 weeks ago and it is a difficult symbol to live with but I’m focusing on getting through my long chemo as healthy as I can. And will be looking forward to the day it will be removed. Thanks for what you are offering to all of us.
Thank you for being here! I hope my videos can help you! The port is uncomfortable and a daily reminder but it will give access to getting healed and done someday! I pray everything goes okay for you. One day at a time. ❤️
Thank u for sharing. Your videos help me to see the end of this very long journey. Much positivity to you on your hysterectomy... you r truly very inspirational! Capri is adorable! Much love to you !!
Hi Marina, congratulations on ending chemo radiation. I had my radical mastectomy on 8/31. Still recovering. It's painful, not at all like a breast reduction. I'm very thankful that my tumor was small and detected early before it spread. I am aware of how sneaky cancer is. I hope at 65yrs I don't have a recurrence. If I do I will just have palliative care and hospice. No more surgery or treatments that I never had. My children are grown and I'm a widow so if I am diagnosed again I'm prepared to let go. I know that sounds harsh but I have lived and loved. I hope you are doing well. Best of luck, no more cancer.
When I had my ovariohysteretomy (not cancer related) they made a large incision below my belly button. I hope they do yours robotically. My recovery time was a good six weeks and then some. I think they are more streamlined these days. Wishing you a speedy recovery. ❤️❤️🙏🙏
You did it, pink sister!!!!!!! Yaaaayyy!!!!!! I'm 19 days post chemotherapy and I have an appointment with the breast surgeon tomorrow. Did you have a mastectomy? I'm still unsure if I want reconstruction or remaining flat. But I'm so happy for you!!!! You have a lovely family and a beautiful home!! 🤗 CONGRATULATIONS!!🎊🎊🎊🎊
Thank you! I had a double mastectomy and reconstruction. I’m still happy I did reconstruction. I wasn’t ready to be flat but maybe someday! In the end, your health and happiness is all that matters. I hope everything goes well for you!
Hi Shirley here. I enjoy your channel. I thought after having cancer it's not a good idea to get pregnant because it does lower your immune system and the cancer can return.
Great question. I had a double mastectomy before both children were born so they were both formula fed babies. You can seek donor breast milk as an option too.
