  • Hey friends! Welcome back to my channel! Today I’m sharing something very personal. I recently found a lump in my breast and it has been a 2 month long process of trying to figure out if something is wrong or not. It was a scary experience and I wanted to share in a effort to help anyone else going through this kind of thing. Thank God I am okay!

Thank you so much for this video. My daughter (36) is due to have a biopsy next month - June 2024 - and I’m praying it’s not cancer as she has three little boys. Every day I wake up anxious and every night before sleep I’m anxious also. She is feeling the same and now at least she will know what to expect next month.
Happy for your outcome and may you remain cancer free for life my friend. 🙏🏻🌹

Thank you for sharing! A few years ago I found a lump under my arm, so that led to me having a biopsy as well. I totally understand what you went through - and am so happy to see you are ok, and sharing your story! I am thankful, I too, am ok, and glad my faith got me through! 🙌🏼

Oh Katie! Well I’m an emotional wreck to begin with right now, but I’m tearing up listening to your story. Thanks for sharing because I’m sure so many women go through this and feel at a loss! I’m sorry the first tech seemed miserable 😒 glad your mom got to be with you for majority of it and the other tech was way better! I know everyone has off days but they should know how to talk to patients and comfort them 💞 that is crazy how delayed the results were! I’d be freaking out and mad! I’m so happy to hear that outcome! ❤what a relief!!

Katie, I’m so sorry you went through this. I hate that the compassion from the technicians and doctors and nurses weren’t there. I’m an emotional person so crying happens with me too! I went through something similar but not the biopsy. December 22, 2022 I had my regular mammogram and later that day I was told they found two spots and I needed to go to the cancer breast center on December 27th. Only my husband knew because I didn’t want to tell my daughter or rest of my family before Christmas so they didn’t find out till December 26 because I desperately needed as many prayers as I could get. It was soo difficult to try and keep a smile on my face during the holidays, I usually would go to my bedroom and cry so no one would notice that something was wrong. I had to have a diagnostic mammogram which was more painful than a regular mammogram. When they told me they also needed to do an ultrasound that made my anxiety go through the roof. Thankfully it was benign. I had a sister who was sixty-five when she passed away from metastatic breast cancer so that gives me anxiety when I go to get my mammograms but as you said it’s very important to go and get checked if you feel a lump or something is not right. I’m so thankful that you are okay and that you made this video for others who are going through the same situation. I too am a child of God and absolutely believe in the power of prayer! So sorry for such a long comment. God bless🙏🏻 ❤

I'm having my biopsy next week. It's been quite the ride. From the radiologist who told me I needed to see my gyn immediately to my gyn referring me to his friend surgeon to have it removed right away to my surgeon referring me to his wife's interventional radiologist who they trust very much. I just want to know what this thing is and what needs to be done about it. Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm hoping for answers soon and hopefully being able to document my experience for those local to me. (I'm from Panama.) 💕

I am so sorry. This can be so scary. It is has happened to me before. I think I started getting mammograms in my 30s because of this. I have dense breast tissue and get cysts too. You are right we all should always get them checked. I am so happy that it was nothing. It is so common. When I was younger every single year I had call backs for my mammograms since the new machines came out like four years ago, I rarely get callbacks. I will never forget one year at a call back, I got into the room and the lady pulled up my mammogram and drew a circle and said, this right here, we are here to see if this is cancer. They took like 50 pictures that day with a doctor reading it across the hall. It was terrifying. Turned out to be nothing, just dense breast tissue. Thanks for sharing your story.

Thank you for doing this video. It’s nice to have someone that knows what I’m going thru. My husband has no clue how stressful this is for me. I could use all the prayers I could get. Thank you again.

I pray it all goes well for you. I have to have a biopsy in a few days myself and I'm quietly freaking out. And mind you this is my second biopsy, my first one was on my cervix and now this. I'm wondering will this be a pattern cause earlier this year I had to remove a benign tumor from my arm that was huge and visually visible. Any how I thank ladies for sharing. It's nice to not be alone.

Having just experienced this, I understand the range of emotions you experienced! I too had good news, but yet I know some women don't. Please ladies, if you find a breast lump, don't wait! Get it checked out! If it turns out to be malignant the earlier it's caught, the better your chances of survival! That goes for you gentlemen out there too! Men CAN and do get breast cancer!
Bless you for making this video and sharing your experience with us! Hopefully it'll empower anyone watching it to ovecome their fears if they've found a breast lump!

So glad you're okay. Praise God!!! I could so empathize through this. (not because of dealing with breast issues but I've had my share of other "fun" things. 🤪Wait 2 weeks for the next appt..Wait 2 more weeks...waiting for phone calls.. ugh! On the positive side (from my point of view) had you just had that small lump and they told you to come back in 6 months, maybe that would have been more stressful waiting. Not saying any of it was enjoyable for you. That's just how I think. Weird that a cyst showed up like a solid mass on the ultrasound. Thanks for sharing your story. It's so helpful to others. But yes- the anxiety.. ..which yes I struggle with anyway.😔 My sister had a breast lump that (not trying to gross) but had a green tint to it and it was nothing. I think they drained it. Glad you got this behind you before Christmas. Anyway! Merry Christmas and thanks again for sharing!! 💕😊Romans 8:28

I have had two breast biopsies, I ad the on the table, boob through the hole. I call it the oil changing table, because the Dr rolls under the table on a stool😂😂 My first one I got a marker. The second I got a phone call on Dec 22, that it was positive. It was very small, had lumpectomy and what they call mammosite radiation. God was good to me as always! That was 2008, surgery 2009. I always do my mammograms. I am 72 and KNOW Gods holds me in the palm of His hand. The waiting is ABSOLUTELY the worse, and there always seems to be a weekend involved. I just had a mammogram on Friday, waiting for results. I am not concerned .. Great informative video! Praising God yours was benign!!
