Fuckin facts. A short term substitute teacher's only job is to pretty much just hold down the fort, so to say, and keep the kids from doing anything crazy
Literally this, highschoolers barely have favorite teachers let alone a memorable sub. Not to mention Fuzz seems like the tryhard type. An quirky adults don't often mix well with teenagers.

lets be real if the school actually didnt like fuzzz for being queer or whatever the school wouldnt have let fuzzz be a substitute teacher in the first place
Yea, them being LGBTQ is plaster all over their social media and I bet was the first thing they referenced in the interview. So the school was well aware what Fuzz was before they hired them.
I had a gay teacher in high school and he was the exact opposite of this person. He was very smart, an overall good teacher, professional and mature. This person clearly wasn’t.
@@vanillae91819 That would be on the administration and in the case of legitimate discrimination a lawsuit should happen. That being said that isn't this case.
Look I had a trans Jr high teacher in the early 2000's and she was one of my favorites because she actually was passionate about teaching, not being an annoying brat who thinks having a cringy TikTok account is a lifestyle.
This just goes to show it's not a gay/trans people issue, it's an internet issue. I grew up around gay/trans people in the 2000s because my family was always really accepting and worked in theatre, none of them were anything like this, they were and still are all completely normal.
There was a teacher in my school and we thought he was super weird especially around girls. He always fantasized about the 80-90s and this kid like personality. He just got sentenced 22 years in prison for assaulting young girls.
As someone who's trans, I always find it super annoying when people like this decide to be as obnoxious about their sexuality/gender as possible, especially towards kids and then claim the LGBT community is under attack when they face repercussions for their actions. Where I work literally nobody has ever had a problem with me and the reason for that is because I'm actually doing my job instead of looking desperately for attention. A lot of us just want to live normal lives but people like this weirdo end up becoming the face of our community and make it harder for us to find acceptance.
Personally if you guys stuck with Xem/Xir/Xers or something like it rather than They/Them people would pick up on it far more rapidly. If you're a respectable person people will gladly remember your pronouns and interact accordingly even IF the person aren't fans of pronouns.
@@babyvaso3855 i genuinely disagree. everyone I know, me included, will only play into the pronoun game as far as they /them. i refuse to call you made up bullshit.
@@babyvaso3855 Most people don't want the x stuff or take the x stuff seriously because it makes no sense, means nothing, & is a stunt for attention & no one would ever wanna use any of it in a sentence. They/them makes more sense because those pronouns actually exist & have been used to refer to someone in a gender neutral way for hundreds of years. Besides, trans people don't use they/them, let alone if of that other stuff. Nonbinary people do.
Again as a gay person, people like Fuzz give us a bad rep. Him saying it was a hate crime and calling them “haters” is just immature and that being one of the reasons he was fired. Glad he’s been fired and that he’s away from those students
Well I feel like it’s those under 30 who think in terms of “black community” or “lgtv community” too… I don’t associate all of y’all as a group and I wish the younger folks wouldn’t either. Also it’s a woman.
I am a father and it occurs to me that my kids DONT NEED TO KNOW the sexuality of their teachers in any context - if my son or daughter came home talking about their teachers sexuality I'd be very concerned because this doesn't seem to be relevant. Sexuality is personal and people are going to love who they love and want what they want, I just think that it's weird that representation of LGBTQ+ is so damned vocal about their sexuality to younger people and inappropriate settings. Should Cis Straight people share their preferences? Wrong is wrong no matter your orientation.
I knew that all of my teachers were married and pretty well who they were married to. Because their spouses visited the classroom from time to time. So I don't know why your kids don't know their teacher's sexuality
@@ssnowstarr4985 If a gay teacher had their spouse show up, thats fine. No double standard, what I was trying to say was that in my exposure, non straight teachers want to talk about it way more. I think that if a straight man started talking to teens about sex we call Chris Hanson lol, reversed and any detractors are quickly labeled Bigots etc. There is a cultural doublethink going on and I beleive its an overcompsenation or overcorrection. Equality means balance and also means one side can be unbalanced and need correction and sometimes, LGBTQ+ can be at fault just as much as it can be Non-LGBTQ+. I dont think all or most LGBTQ+ are like this, my exposure to this shows me that there is a select few who are loud and proud in problematic ways. If you are a part of this group, wouldnt you want someone who isnt sparking these debates for these reasons? So again, all teachers shouldnt be preaching sexuality to children especially when its not related to what you are teaching. Being pro LGBTQ+ is not the problem here.
@@ssnowstarr4985 most teachers don't go around holding a flag about being straight, most of the time you can just assume they're straight because they state they have a husband/wife, not cause they explicitly said it
In my high school, the teachers had Facebook but the teachers and students weren't allowed to follow each other until the students graduated. There weren't really any problems with it, the students actually did wait to graduate before following their teachers. I'm one of them, I followed all my favorite teachers.
As a substitute teacher myself: keep your personal life to yourself. These kids don't care, and any conversation you DO engage in outside of the topics (like during free time), keep it light hearted topics. like games, or if they ask for advice on college etc. If you mind yours, they'll typically mind theirs and you'll be better off for it all around.
I went to school in the 90s and I had good relationships with my teachers but the fact the youth under 24 only became political starting in the late 2000s speaks to how hyper politicized everything began getting at that time. Now in after the Trump era the indoctrination kicked into overdrive.
If Mol fuzz had given this type of energy in their videos they probably wouldn’t have gotten such negative attention. That, and, you know, the whole pushing their own personal agenda on other people’s children. I remember when I went to school. I literally knew nothing about the personal lives of my teachers. Kids love these kinds of teachers . Because they want to talk about themselves instead of teach . One smart kid can get this teacher started talking about themselves and no one in class has to do any work .
I want to be a teacher: a likable teacher who's very open-minded to queer related stuff. However : I dont bring it to the students. If the students bring it to me and ask me If i am or want to talk about. Its not my job and Id probably just be supportive and not go that deep. I want to teach art: not the ethics of my queerdom.
This is probably the best take. Although I'm not a teacher, I understand that some young people will be genuinely curious and ask questions - the best thing to do in this scenario is to just be factual, honest and not go too deep so that they get their answers while being able to still form their own opinions. Being a teacher is to teach and answer questions, after all.
Respect is earned not mandatory, if you're a Queer person people will pick up on that simply by talking to you or....most queer people's appearance will tell you that and they will respond accordingly. The misgendering only occurs when you start being a clown.
@chadthundercock3042 Like, what am i supposed to do? Not support a child whos putting their trust and / or questions in me? I plan on teaching high school art, so it's not like Im telling this to a 5 year old or something lmao. But yeah. Main goal: teach art. If i am asked if I support them for being insert blank about LGBT here? Yeah. I won't delve into it too much because that's not my job. My job, in this theoretical scenario, is to teach art. Maybe if the school allows it, I'll hang the progressivism pride flag up, rainbow colors, plus the trans/black and brown arrow to show support. But they don't need to know my private life.
I once had a substitute come in sit on the table and talk about how trees should vote (we literally did nothing else for the rest of class), and apparently he was escorted out the building after class and according to my history teacher she forgot to assign a sub for that class 😮

That is... cringe in its own right. To be fair, fuzz never really says what they do in terms of actually *helping* the kids, and they do NOT need to be 'educating' them about transgender or similar topics, as that's something they need to discuss with their parents, not their teachers. that's a family and/or personal matter. but we don't even really know if fuzz is, what, a "good" teacher? One who actually helps? They said they're a *substitute* too. 9 times out of 10 substitutes are flat out ignored for the day that they're present in high school, no matter the grade they're teaching. I don't think people should be making Pword jokes about them either, and i've seen my own art teachers be super chill about facepainting of yourself or even them if you need to practice, i know our music teacher had the art class decorate his cast when he broke his arm, they colored that thing into unicorn vomit i swear. it really depends on how comfortable people are with that teacher; which is not a word you would use for Fuzz, someone so horribly obnoxious. i mean their SOUND EFFECTS for their editing on their videos is giving me a headache and i don't even GET HEADACHES. TL:DR, don't harass people but damn, fuzz is turbocringe and not a teacher that makes me want to learn.

Yeah, I think that has to do with sexuality and gender no matter what you are. Gay, straight, bi, etc. shouldn’t be a topic for classrooms in my opinion. We have a gay teacher at our school… we all knew. But he never said a single word about this about his sexuality. The only thing that confirmed our suspicion was him saying “my partner” in a masculine form. Idk how to make sense of it in English, but I’m Ukrainian and it’s a very gendered language. So when you wanna say “my male partner” you’d say «мій партнер»… and if you wanna say “my FEMALE partner” you’d say «моя партнерКА» and he said «мій партнер». And guess what? No one gave a fuck. I mean, a whole bunch of people got some money since they made bets(me included) but that’s about it. And that dude is the most fun teacher to be around. He’s very passionate about his subjects, cracks amazing jokes, etc… and it has nothing to do with his sexuality

I aint gonna front I would have been laughing my ass off, you cant take someone serious when they call themselves "tiktok famous" or act the way Fuzz does
This person really be calling this a hate crime, when you simply don't give kids advice regarding transitioning or homosexuality. There's a reason health class (or sex ed in high school), and guidance counselors (Although at most, they're the kind of people that deal with bullies or at-home abuse) exist. Your regular schmuck teacher probably doesn't have all of the correct information, and not leaving it to people who are actually qualified and trained to talk about it, well, it's just groomer territory. And you can be inclusive without wanting everything to be about your own personal identity.
i truly believe if someone teaches high school students and below, it should be a requirement to lock all social media. not only does it keep students from learning way too much about their teacher, including inappropriate content, but it also protects the teacher from dubious claims and other messy situations. who in their right mind decides being a rando tiktok influencer is a good thing while teaching kids??
I swear that when they say “there’s nothing ever wrong with being you” it’s such a contradiction because these people actually have an issue with being them that’s why they want to change.
It's disgusting how loosely the term "hatecrime" is thrown around these days because your feelings got hurt over someone not agreeing with your behavior. What a disrespectful term to use for those in the past who have actually endured hatecrimes: slavery, segregation based on race, or being beaten to death because of your sexuality, to name a few. What this person experienced is not hate, nor a crime. You didn't do the job you were hired to do - own it, learn from it, and move on.

As a lecturer, the only time I have ever brought up personal experience was to make real-world examples in the context of the content my students were learning about. All of my examples are related to my personal work experience (since the subjects I lecture are all business-related), to give my students real-world examples of the content. There is no way this substitute teacher was as popular as they are saying.
The popular subs are the ones that let you do fuck all.
I only know of this person because of tiktok cringe compilations, and I'm guessing they lack so much self-awareness that they think they're popular cuz they have a lot of subs despite 90% of those subs being trolls and hatewatchers.
The only sub I ever remember being popular was this guy who dressed in old timey victorian attire and let us watch movies, he was a very rare breed
I remember one cool sub (hes not cool now looking back as an adult) but he was a fat loser that loved yugioh which was really big at my school at the time, he would bring in his decks of rare cards and everyone thought it was cool, but now i see how sad it was.
lets be real if the school actually didnt like fuzzz for being queer or whatever the school wouldnt have let fuzzz be a substitute teacher in the first place

Straight teachers are very open about their sexuality. Stop with the double standards
@@ssnowstarr4985 most teachers don't go around holding a flag about being straight, most of the time you can just assume they're straight because they state they have a husband/wife, not cause they explicitly said it
what if a gay teacher mention their husband/wife? straight teachers do this all the time.
My theory is that Fuzzz99 tried following his students on social media. Attempting to do that can automatically get them fired
In my high school, the teachers had Facebook but the teachers and students weren't allowed to follow each other until the students graduated. If the students bring it to me and ask me If i am or want to talk about. Its not my job and Id probably just be supportive and not go that deep. I want to teach art: not the ethics of my queerdom.
😬😬
This is probably the best take. Although I'm not a teacher, I understand that some young people will be genuinely curious and ask questions - the best thing to do in this scenario is to just be factual, honest and not go too deep so that they get their answers while being able to still form their own opinions. Being a teacher is to teach and answer questions, after all.

@@kageorii Lmao, Ok delusional Freak.
I never understood the “making gay your whole personality” argument. Would you go to a black channel and that talks about being black and giving advice and say “stop making being black your whole personality” or any channel that focuses on a certain subject like religion. That is literally the reason content is made so it feels like a double standard the moment it’s about not being straight. Now if it’s just about giving bad advice that’s one thing but giving advice in general shouldn’t be looked down upon for the people who are seeking it just like for anything else. Just say it’s not something you look for. Have to apply the rules all around or not at all.
i feel like you are misunderstanding something "making gay your whole personality" is literally Fuzz999 or whatever their name is, thats literally the epitome of not making gay your whole personality
@@xvphoenixvii5146 no you’re the one who’s trying to criticize something everyone does. It’s called having a niche or centered content. Would you tell a movie review channel to stop talking about movies all the time? Or a mukbang channel to stop eating all the time? Or a prank channel to stop pranking all the time? How about go tell the news to stop making news broadcast or a cake decorator to make a feast on the grill instead.
You ONLY apply this way of thinking to people who are a part of the gay community and make gay centered content and it’s a biased criticism nobody applies across the board. Would you say this TH-camr constantly making commentary on other people is making this his whole personality? Why don’t he do a vlog for once?
@@RandomCommentz i'm not reading all that, its as simple as this, don't be like fuzz99 or you become the stereotype and reason people don't like you, then lump that person with the entire gay community, i don't make the rules
@@xvphoenixvii5146 don’t respond to a comment if you’re not trying to have a discussion. Try again or not at all.
@@RandomCommentz your comment was full of nonsensical blabber, its as shrimple as that, i do not care, for all i care about is that you seem to be defending this person? which is incredibly odd when you are pushing sexuality and gender identity onto children which is so wrong, let them learn for themselves instead a SUBSTITUTE teacher telling you, children are impressionable and you know that (at least i hope so).
Its wrong, simple as that, cry to whatever community you came from but anyone else with a brain will support me over you, just look at the comments of this video and people share the same sentiment.
Maybe I’m crazy but I believe It when It says the HR lady reacted positively, only because if she were to have said anything that could have been misconstrued as derogatory or negative then It most certainly would have used her words as ammunition in a lawsuit.
I’ve managed lazy people and had to tell them to their face “I know you can do better, you’re great!” knowing they were one tardy/infraction away from getting fired and becoming someone else’s problem.
The Lego city undercover in the background is so valid
How the hell is being a substitute teacher a real job?
The same as a full time teacher. I'm confused what you mean?
What a monster, she actually just blames children for her being a horrible person who manipulates children
Oh look a groomer gets "hate crimed" can't guess why
I think teachers should be allowed to have private lives. I think having a standard of like "Oh you can't ever have nudes or thirst traps or gods forbid curse" is unrealistic.
A lot of people do this, especially young people. I think that should be fine, when you're young you're supposed to make mistakes.
But when you're a grown adult teaching kids, you need to at least TRY take those things down and not expose your students to it. Because its one thing if its old and being dragged up from your past but if you're actively doing it, do not be a teacher.
Your past is past, but at least try keep it pg 13 online when you're a teacher for kids.
