Thanks! I've finished that section now and am heading north of Tehachapi. I'll be in Ridgecrest in 4-5 days. It's all straight up to Cascade locks now and I might do Washington again after trail days.
@@isaacgibbs naw I'm just using the Osmo and iPhone. I have the drone but I'm geolocked in most places. My FX3 and the new 24-70 gmaster are at home but that lens was just too heavy. Maybe with the 20mm 1.8 it may have been light enough.
Hi . So happy for you. I watched you last year and your camping trips up here. Im from kawartha lakes .❤️Have enjoyed your vidios . I lived in California for a long time so this trail is special to watch through you. Thankyou for sharing ❤️ go get it . Stay safe and enjoy yourself ❤️🇨🇦
Love it, can’t wait to get out there. I’m in my early 50’s and retired. I’m mostly a day and short trip hiker in Utah. The PCT is something I’ve always wanted to do.
Welcome back to the PCT (or almost), you are right, this is a beautiful area, the pines and mountain makes me think of the Teide (a volcano) on Tenerife (Canaries Islands). I liked the area around Mt San Jacinto a lot when I was there in 2013. So it's great you take your time, so that we'll see more of these amazing views. Thanks for sharing! Very wise to start gently, for sure 👍 Enjoy 💟
I'm late to your PCT party, but I just saw you on Lil'Chaps channel and I came right over here to catch up. I'm watching lots of PCT hikers this year, good to see you're among them.
Welcome! Yes I've known lil Chap for a couple of years now. Stand up guy. Really enjoyed my time with him and his new tramily. I also came late on the PCT as I broke my foot last year here. Just trying to finish it and help out at the lions den in Washington for a couple of weeks. I want to help Mary out. Don't be shy. Reach out anytime.
Aww, you're so sweet. Thank you. I'm heading up north to continue from Tehachapi up towards the North border. Hope to give something special this year. My only concern is the altitude in the Sierra's with my COPD. Cheers!
It’s obvious you are happy to
Be back. Enjoy and happy trails.🤘🏻🥾⛰️
I was so mellow that day. This trail does that to me. Cheers!
Love the drone footage. Happy to see you back out there.
Thanks!
Not a bad place to start! Good to see you back on trail.

@@AdventureQuencher fun! Did you bring the Sony this time or did you swap it for the drone and using the new Osmo?

@@AdventureQuencher nice. Smart move. I’m sure the drone set up is lighter than the camera+lens combo.
@@isaacgibbs ya but not by much lol

Woo, I'll be over in Kawartha later this year if I don't go to New Zealand. Glad you're with me here. Cheers!

Feels good. Thanks for watching

That's great. I'm so happy I can share a positive angle. The worst day on trail is better than the best day at work. 😊
You are back and hiking the PCT already?!! How wonderful:)
Thank you. Good times. 👍
