Hey, just wanna offer one quick fact check here. I believe with both the EyeMini and the EyeMini Lite, the basic package includes all the data points at no additional cost. So you get the View software with all the data. Unlike the Bushnell, nothing is held back. The big advantage of the professional, $199 per year subscription, is access to course play in Refine and/or via third-party software. Reviewers never seem to mention the putting features of the EyeMini models. They absolutely crush putting simulation when compared with other units. Putting and Impact view of each club stroke make the EyeMinI superb launch monitors for simulation and game improvement.
Please consider using our link for purchase. It helps us out at no cost to you. Shoot me an email if you plan on ordering it to Roland@MyGarageGolf.com.
Thanks for the video, much appreciated! I see that the Uneekor's Optix camera package is $1800. Is that for just one camera? Also, does the AI Trainer come with the $199 Pro Package. That is really cool.
The Optix Package comes with 2 cameras. Just an FYI don't buy anything before Sunday...hint, hint!! Make sure to check out our website for any Black Friday specials coming out at mygaragegolf.com AI Trainer is a beta so for now available across all packages. Reach out with any questions!
Just as a side note, most mid-high end phones in the last few years can record 240 FPS slo-mo if you just want to see your swing. Won't have the cool data points obviously.
Definitely have had a lot of people use cell phones, etc and even connect to something like the Uneekor software with it. Not bad if you have one or two newer phones possibly lying around though!
@GarageGolf Roland. I'm confused on how sessions work. I understand that each time you use a club you need to create a session for it. A few questions. 1. Do I need to create a new session for say my 7 iron every time I use it if I practice every day? So a new session every day? 2. Could you explain the 100 session limit in the Pro Pkg? If I practice say 10 clubs a few days a week, that's 10 sessions per day. I'd go through 100 sessions in a few weeks. Do sessions have to be deleted forever? Can all older sessions be saved to be viewed when you want? Also, how much is the Ai Trainer and when will it be available? Will you need to use the Uneekor Optix cameras or can you use any brand? Thanks in advance.
Hi and thanks for watching. You don't necessarily have to use a new session each time you use a club. Once you have created a club per session you can always go back to that session the next time and continue hitting on that existing session say with a 7 iron. You can also clear out data from that session if you want but not required. 100 session limit just means you can only have 100 active sessions at one time. That is ton of sessions! If you delete a session it no longer goes against that 100 session limit. In regards to AI Trainer it is still in beta and as far as I'm aware it is free for now or at the very least part of the Pro Package which is what I have on mine. With Uneekor you should be able to use any camera as long as it has a USB 3.0 connection. Any other questions feel free to reach out to me at roland@mygaragegolf.com. I'm also happy to set up a call if you like to go over things.
@@GarageGolf Thanks Roland. I think I understand. So would you always keep adding to the original session any time you use the same club? Basically create a "bag" of your clubs. What would be the point of creating another session for the same club? Would creating a new separate session be good for testing different clubs, settings, shafts, balls? I like to try different shafts and settings on my driver and test different balls. Would creating a separate session for each setting/shaft/ball be good for that? Can old sessions be saved somewhere?
@@rlbjr Yes it would be good for testing two clubs side by side or whatever you might want to do. Two different golf balls, etc. You can use the PowerU reports to email the sessions to you in a clickable link which gives all the details you can save as well.

Thanks for the video, trying to choose between eye mini and the lite. I like the idea of less wires because I have kids that swing lefty and righty in my house, is that worth paying up for the mini ? The flip side is that I’m hearing it’s best to plug into PC anyways for best results, so maybe both would need plugged in an ideal scenario, let me know your thoughts
They honestly both work better with the CAT6 cord plugged in so my recommendation is the EYE MINI Lite if you plan on using this indoors only. @@GarageGolfthanks for the reply and information, I was leaning towards the mini, but I honestly don’t know how much we would take it outside, so the lite seems great to save some money. Is there an option that captures the data from behind the golfer that is similar to these that may be easier than flipping from side to side for left and right and golfers ?
@@matthewsnyder9853 Honestly I'm just not as big of a fan of the Radar based devices indoors. Those are the ones that go behind you as a golfer. Outdoors they work great. Indoors can be hit or miss depending on your setup. For me at a sub $3000.00 price point it is hard to beat the EYE MINI Lite in all honesty, especially since it does everything the EYE MINI does in regards to what it reads, measures, etc.
It means how many "active sessions" you can have open at one time. Think of each club as it's own session with the View Software. You will want to create a session per club so it tracks the data for that club individually and then does things like shot dispersions per club, average distances per club etc. With the pro package you can have up to 100 active sessions running at a time without having to delete any.
Is there any workaround to having to plug the EML directly into PC? I have my gaming rig in the office and simulator setup in garage. Does plugging EML into a router/access point work? Would utilizing a power line adapter work? Any other solution? Thanks!
Hi Kevin, I know you can do it with the EYE MINI. I am not sure if plugging the EYE MINI Lite into your router will also work in this situation since there is no way to change internet from static to dynamic due to the device not having a screen. I will try to reach out to Uneekor and find an answer but in the user manual it is not listed as an option for the EYE MINI Lite.
@@GarageGolf Ever get an answer to this? I am wondering the same before I order. How do you keep internet on your desktop if you have to plug the mini lite directly to it?
Yes, you can plug in the EML into the router as one option. The other option is you can plug in the EML into the ethernet port on your PC and use a USB to Ethernet adapter if you have hard wired internet to run the internet cable to. Either way should work.
