I am a perfectionist! One thing that allows me to double-check my work quickly is creating checklists, I can check everything off twice when I prepare the travel and then at then after entering it into our system. Also, Grammarly! I cannot live without it. It allows me to quickly check for grammatical or spelling errors as well as the tone of any correspondence.

Making Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) also works. There are many ways to create it such as Gantt chart and google sheets where you can share with your colleagues. What makes WBS special is that you can set the person in charge, task status, and mark the date or duration in color. Also, if you share it with your colleagues online, you all can update it together timely.

In Nigeria here too. Landed an EA job without experience. The company believe I posses the requisites to deliver on my role, pretty nervous as I haven't done this before.

Thank you and truly wonderful advice. I simply can’t do inbox zero management. I’ve tried several times over the years and there is never a time when I have all the folders I need or know the classifications of every single outstanding item. I’d rather use my advanced search skills in my inbox that attempt the perfect filing system, but then I’ve always been an “out of sight, out of mind” person, which explains the way my desk appears:)

And I thought I was the only one who was pedantic about my inbox lol. I work exactly the same. (Except the "done" box. It usually goes to it's folder which if it's a once off, probably under miscellaneous). I also work with Trello. Great minds think alike!

I use Trello for myself and my boss. We use the Paid version so we can assign due dates etc

If you want to change careers to be an EA, how do you prove you have what it takes. I'm an engineer, but they didn't want me because I didn't have experience.
Since the coronavirus outbreak my performance has gone down..due to wfh, I have started missing things...household work is never ending when u r staying with your in laws. .my boss is not reallt happy, that I have come to know thru HR. What is the best way that I can make my boss trust that I won't repeat any mistake...also I wanna know is it normal that u forget 2 tasks when you have 50 tasks..is human error not acceptable when it comes to EA's job??
I attended an interview for PA to the CEO. We were three in the written and practical test but after the text, three of us was also called for oral assessment. Plase what do you think they are looking for at the oral interview, since three of us were also invited?
