I can only imagine the many many hours needed to machine and assemble the extremely percise parts of this amazing creation. Hats off to a true craftsman !
Most all of the original 350 Chevy blocks were poured in Saginaw, MI at the Metal Castings plant on Washington Ave.My father worked there in the pattern shop from 1956 until his retirement in 1998.
This is the mini SBC video I always come back to. Incredible sounding engine and the best one I've ever heard! I'm guessing he got the cam and compression just right, because all the other mini's sound weak in comparison.
This video is definitely the coolest one I've seen on TH-cam. It resembles a miniature 5.7L 350 Chevy Small Block.. That is absolutely insane. Fantastic !!!
gorgeous!!!! 1955 American ingenuity at its best. They got it right the first time and it is still going strong 60 years later. This will go down in transportation history along with the model T, Ford flathead V-8, and the DC-3 as being three of the most important designs to come out of the 20th century. I am leaving off the first flight because that is a no brainer and Lindberg's flight because he didn't use earth shattering technology. I know there are other countries that have had monumental break throughs, but all of these were absolute game changers and totally changed the transportation industry.
I don't know how you managed to make this little bad ass actually sound like a drag race motor but its amazing.Every other small motor video ive ever seen doesn't sound like this motor.Super Nice!!!
That's awesome its better than any conley imo too me they are still just a weed wacker as soon as people put them under load in a rc car they bog down big time no grunt at all hardly move ,your one sounds way better & responsive are you running it on 100 octane or even just pump gas ?
Do you have any idea how much power these put out? Like, it'd be a lot of fun to build one to stick on a generator or gokart. I've built and worked on Chevy's, as a hobbyist, for decades. It'd be fun just to have the bragging rights of saying that my standby generator is powered by a small-small block Chevy.
1/3rd the HP of the full scale.. lol.. Just kidding, they don't make much, seen one on a Monster truck R/C and it sounded good, but it was slow... a Brushless setup would eat it alive. I'd love to have this sitting on my desk.
Wow. I just saw a video about the "Victory 44" he made, and no offense to that guy, but this thing blows his engine out of the water. The sound is incredible. It actually sounds like a V-8. From idle to the way it roars when revved. Amazing. Great engineering. Thanks for sharing. And I always ask when I see a video about these things: Any plans to build an R/C car around it or even have it power a go-kart?
I would straight up slap that on a bush whacker, or a hedge trimmer. :-) Just kidding. Highly inspiring video. Just what I need to get me cracking on my Schillings V8 build.
I just keep wondering where do they get the spark plugs from? Standard spark plugs are not great for a cylinder less than about 50CC (about 4.5 cubic inch).
While I know this little engine doesn't compare to the Conley Stinger "609" for durability & actual performance, it has the BEST SOUND of any mini motor I've seen or heard on youtube. After he sets the carbs, this little jewel sounds SO sweet. Just like the real thing.
except for they are the largest motor company in the world ranging from gokart motors to f1 engines. your comment only shows that you are from america and are a fucking moron.
***** I think honda makes a great engine but I really hate the typical eurotrash response. Like they are the smartest people on the fucking planet. Get a clue.
in fact that sounds like a great idea. in fact, why not get a yeti cooler and put it in there and slap 3 wheels on it with a steering wheel? xD call it the cruzin cooler!
Best sounding miniature V8 I've heard. Usually they sound crap
Holy crap that even sounds right!
Wow just wow!!
Damn!! even the mini small blocks sound incredible!! that lil' engine is music to my ears!!
I can only imagine the many many hours needed to machine and assemble the extremely percise parts

Most all of the original 350 Chevy blocks were poured in Saginaw, MI at the Metal Castings plant on Washington Ave.My father worked there in the pattern shop from 1956 until his retirement in 1998.
That's amazing. Even at 1/3 scale it sounds like a beast
Now you need a miniature 1969 SS Chevelle to put it in. You could start a whole class of R/C racing!!!!
now build a miniature camaro around it!
***** A ford engine in a camaro.... Why?
Trevor Sorg woops my bad wrong video
Yeah! Been trying to find people who have done it so far disappointment
+RC Antics Nah, put it into a mobility scooter :)
fuck ya!
Now I seen alot of these motors and by FAR this is the realist sounding 350 small block
Indeed
That’s the best mini v8 I’ve heard!! Sounds super snappy! You know a 4 stroke is built right when it runs like a 2 stroke!
that is pure music,it revs like a formula 1 v8.
This is the mini SBC video I always come back to. Incredible sounding engine and the best one I've ever heard! I'm guessing he got the cam and compression just right, because all the other mini's sound weak in comparison.
Glad you enjoy it.
@@dacrddo you still have it or where can I get a full mechanics kits to put one together
Stewart little bouta be choppin the block
Only 8 years to get this in my recommended box. Well worth the wait.
How much? Where do I buy? I want one to display on my toolbox at work.
I work in a mostly diesel shop but we fix literally anything that comes in
Would be pretty cool in a go kart!
Now to build a clutch and a miniature Muncie rock crusher 4-speed transmission.
I think (Yes, I said I think!) it is the M-22.
You would think as you scale down the sound would suffer, but this thing is just simply amazing.
This Engine is the best sounding Engine i ever heard as far as v-8,s sounds strong like to have one like it.
Serious piece of craftsmanship !!
The best sounding miniature of all.
I wish there were more vids of this particular model
This video is definitely the coolest one I've seen on TH-cam. It resembles a miniature 5.7L 350 Chevy Small Block.. That is absolutely insane. Fantastic !!!
I agree the detail is amazing
The bloke who built that engine is one seriously smart person.
What would the dyno plot look like for that
Damn thats just crazy.... mind blown...
BEST sounding mini V8 ever, and it's a Chevy...
Sounds like the full size when your on it. So nice

1948 was the first mass produced OHV V-8, from Cadillac.
Went on to become the Oldsmobile Rocket
Is this a Conley,or some other variation?Are castings/plans available?Any info appreciated,please.
Dam that thing sounds good
I don't know how you managed to make this little bad ass actually sound like a drag race motor but its amazing.Every other small motor video ive ever seen doesn't sound like this motor.Super Nice!!!
Where can i buy one of these?
I needs one of these as a alarm clock. I would like to wake up to the sound of that thing winging 4.5k.
These tiny engines are fascinating and I've watched a ton. This motor sounds most righteous!
This engine is by Far the most accurate running model engine I have ever seen.
of all the small engines i have seen on youtube this runs THE BEST hands down
This definitely gives new meaning to "small block" V8's!
That's awesome its better than any conley imo too me they are still just a weed wacker as soon as people put them under load in a rc car they bog down big time no grunt at all hardly move ,your one sounds way better & responsive are you running it on 100 octane or even just pump gas ?
Even looks like the real deal close up, and sounds great!
That is just BADASS!!!!! It sounds like the full size version!!! VERY nice work!!!
Holy shit, you even took the time to build watercooling
it sounds just like the big one , how much displacement does it have ?
thats the best sounding mini motor ive herd yet.
That's really cool how did you build this engine? What fuel does this engine run on?
Do you have any idea how much power these put out? Like, it'd be a lot of fun to build one to stick on a generator or gokart. I've built and worked on Chevy's, as a hobbyist, for decades. Wow! That thing runs fantastically! It idles just like the real deal. Hats off to you!
I saw an engine similar to this in an R/C Chevy truck. Freaking AMAZING
It's great n the orange engine color is right on !!
Put it in a moped. That could be hands down the single most AWESOME moped in the world!
Does she take gas and use CVCC heads for smog compliance?
Built 1/4 scale small block Chevy with race inspired camshaft. NAILS IT !
Where do you get spark plugs and the distributor?
Now this one is probably the best I have seen. Nice job and it really sounds good also.
watching this put a massive smile on my face when it started up and he revved it.
Same here
@@dacrd just needs a little M22 or Auto gear M23Z hanging off the back of it.....
@@fnqhkgts620 That would be awesome
I'd put that on a bicycle just cause that would be stupid fun
The realist engine I've heard....looks and sounds and idles like a real engine
How wonderful to have such talent as to build something like this and make it work
How much horsepower it dishes out? Tryin to figure out if it suits a lunatic crosskart
The sound is realistiic too. Rare. I think the headers and firing order probably the real deal.
I pretty sure the firing order is the same everything is just scaled down.
Man, i'd like to see one of these on a go kart.
I would straight up slap that on a bush whacker, or a hedge trimmer. :-) Just kidding. Highly inspiring video. Just what I need to get me cracking on my Schillings V8 build.
Pretty banging cam grind
Wonder what the power output is, maybe 10-20hp? Would love to put it in a lawnmower!
You still get more HP than a Prius.
Bruuu, even my legs got that
That thing sounds SWEET!!! Can we buy these anywhere, and if so, how much?
listen to that purr.. even in miniature it sounds bad-ass!
what sort of horsepower / torque does that thing make & could it be fitted to a bike or go kart|?
I just keep wondering where do they get the spark plugs from? Standard spark plugs are not great for a cylinder less than about 50CC (about 4.5 cubic inch).
I would love to put this on a go kart and watch it fly through the track. Very sick

These guys have amazing trade skills.
How do you find these engines I have looked and can't find where to buy em
That sounds so good!
Does it have any mini recalls yet?
Are these a kit or are just plain scratch built?
Incredible workmanship. Fantastic job.
I'd like to have the skills needed to achieve this level of precision. Great work!! My hats off to you.
Look at the sound of this tiny little beast, so good!
where can i buy v8 mini model like that? how much usually it cost?
Insane machine building skills. #thumbsup
are these a kit or have you built it from scratch? I am a engineer and want a project.
Can you buy one of the motor? Where and how much if you can?
waaw. how many hp does something like this pulls? so cool. if i had one i would want something to mount it on/in.
Honda owners now have an engine upgrade option.
if people like hondas, whats wrong with that?
except for they are the largest motor company in the world ranging from gokart motors to f1 engines.
your comment only shows that you are from america and are a fucking moron.
ofsoundminds
butt f=uck
***** I think honda makes a great engine but I really hate the typical eurotrash response. Like they are the smartest people on the fucking planet. Get a clue.
+Out Law you'd have to upgrade the transmission and rear end too to handle all the torque that the Honda never had!
This is one of the Best Sounding small scales
Does it actually run on fuel ?
What do they use for spark plugs?
Where do you buy these engines at? I want one so bad but idk where to look.
were do they have these small engine shows at?
That's got to be one fat cam for that little engine
now thats pure art, good job..
Where do you get these at?
Haha imagine this thing in a go cart just flyin down the road
L
You are a special type of stupid....
+Nick Buckingham me? Because I don't think there anything stupid about my comment.
in fact that sounds like a great idea. in fact, why not get a yeti cooler and put it in there and slap 3 wheels on it with a steering wheel? xD call it the cruzin cooler!

How much does one cost to make or build one cause building a project
wow that looks just like a real SBC and even sounds like it also.
How much hp are those putting out?
Wow this is phantastic, the Sound is real like the original
