    Great review Mate. Everyone just loves this bike. Certainly a bike I would consider. Thank you for sharing. Greetings from South Australia.

    I have the same bike and the best accessory I got was the Arrow exhaust and the subsequent fuel map. If you thought the stock map was smooth wait until you try the upgrade. So smooth and refined plus it removes the dead spots. Do not understand how it is sold without it.

      I saw a new 2019 Speed triple, and it comes with the Arrow set-up; so badass!

    i turned the barrel on the clutch almost all the way in.. now the friction zone is in the middle of the clutch stroke. Do it!.. I wish i could default it to race mode. Looks like you live in marysville or burlington? The one thing that took me a month to get used to.. The slipper clutch has a 1mm friction zone for slipping in and out. But i found out that is an issue with all slipper clutches.. as they are almost either 100% engaged or 100% disengaged.
    Edit, just noticed that you responded to the clutch already. But bring it in to nearly 95% in.

      will do! BTW, I'm down in Puyallup. Did you get yours at I90 Motorsports?

      triumph of seattle. the rain is killing me.. but this last summer was fan tastic. Thinking about getting some heated grips, heard they are a pain to install from reading on the forums though. But it would be nice to ride on the dry coldish days. How much did the sliders set you back?

      i have a +2 rear sprocket on order too, the bike is too tall in the gearing for my street riding. It would be perfect if it was more of a track bike, but since i dont plan on hitting the track, i dont mind losing a little top speed and gaining some proper hooligan torque. i was testing it a week back and 1st gear getting close to red line gets you 40+ mph and second at 7k rpm is about 55+. Id like to cruise in third and not have to constantly hit 1st gear around corners to keep the revs up so i have proper pull out of the corners.

      @@greenrolaids The bike does need to be spun up I noticed. Thought about changing the sprocket out myself.

    Hi Sir. It was so surprising seeing GSX S 1000. I own the same GSX S 1000 2016 and I am looking forward to buy Street triple RS. Now you know the exact difference in performance and interested to know it from you.

    Love that vid! :D
    But why do you leave out the redzone of the rpm? There is so much torque up there!! *_*

  • @jaseamondo
    @jaseamondo 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Just adjust the clutch lever in a bit closer and the biting point is more like where you'd expect it to be and not so far out, first thing I did with mine and it makes quite a difference😉

      We did bring it in quite a bit. How are you liking yours?

    • @jaseamondo
      @jaseamondo 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      PNW Sportbike Life , yeah I'm loving it. Plenty fast enough for me and way more comfortable than the sports bikes I've been used to. I'm not the tallest guy myself either and find it very manageable. I did actually test the gsx1000s as well strangely.

    • @PNW_Sportbike_Life

      @@jaseamondo how did you like the GSX-S?

    • @jaseamondo
      @jaseamondo 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      PNW Sportbike Life ,I liked it a lot but It just doesn't have the same rider to bike connection like the 765 which seemed almost telepathic to me. Also although the Suzuki is perhaps actually faster on paper it didn't feel like it, gsx-s is probably more linear but I like the way the 765 gets up and boogies at higher rpm, gives it a bit more character.

    Do you think the RS is worth the extra money compared to the R?

    • @PNW_Sportbike_Life
      @PNW_Sportbike_Life  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ABSULUTELY! Wife test rode the "R'' and thought it was pretty lame in comparison. I think the brakes and suspension upgrade from the R alone is worth it!

    • @hillie47
      @hillie47 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup, better brake & suspension. A little more power and of course the quickshifter. I'd go for the RS.

    • @Lex-Rex
      @Lex-Rex 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope. Not unless you track it and even then not really. The R has a different tune and cam and is perfect for the street. Furthermore, the Tires on the RS suck for street use due to them being more track focused. The OEM suspension is above the average riders capability. I chose the R over the RS for these reasons and another friend I ride with that has the RS agrees that the R is a better streetfighter.

    • @banditman1200s
      @banditman1200s 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Certainly for the levels of better equipment and for the reSale value not that you would want to sell fantastic bike

    • @eliteengineerdaz
      @eliteengineerdaz 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The R has better torque and tyres for the street. The suspension is still more than adequate.
