First time I heard this song I legit stopped what I was doing, sat cross legged on the floor, and just absorbed. When it was over I realized I was crying. Its absolutely heart wrenching and beautiful.
I will say it over and over. This is their most under rated album. The truth and emotions to his songs are soul crashing. I dont always agree with the things he says, but I respect Ronnie so freaking much for his talent and rawness that he puts forth in the world.

Can’t express how happy I am that you guys reacted to this. As dark and moody as it is, this is one of my favourite FIR songs for its honesty and maturity. Plus, I love what Ronnie does with his voice in the bridge when he’s singing “you don’t belong here, but I don’t mind”. I can’t recall hearing his voice go that deep in any previous songs… so hauntingly beautiful.
This is by far my favorite FIR album! It blows my mind that it didn’t do as well as or better than the others! Can’t wait to see you guys react to I’m Bad at Life!! As far as other Ronnie suggestions, I think we would all love you guys to dive into his first album with ETF, Dying is Your Latest Fashion 😍🖤
And the fact carry on didn’t even make the final cut is crazy makes me wonder what other gems he created at this point in time. It’s a great album and definitely deserved more recognition

This song has been and forever will be one of those songs I go to when I’m “in my feels.” The chorus just hurts when you are down on yourself, and for some reason it helps pull me out of that feel.

I think you guys should finish this album! There are many more songs from the other albums that I would like to see, but it’s nice being able to pin point what you guys could be doing next! But Paparazzi, the other bonus track from this album, would be an awesome one to see next!!
On the album I Don't Mind and The Departure are in order. I always listen to them together. I love them and I love the whole album. ❤
One of my favorite lines in this song is “If I don’t belong here than neither do you”
The lyrics of this one are like a punch in the gut. The emotion that man can put in his voice is brain boggling! From what I understand this was written during his separation from Willows mom and him being a lot on tour. Much like coming home. So glad you did this one! It’s one of my favourites. This entire album is platinum worthy I think what it really boiled down to is it was all Ronnie, Derek and Elvis. Ryan left and so did Jackie. This album is pure writing skills and production. It's solid and very clean but you can tell that this album really changed his direction and image for himself. A lot of hidden comi g of age and just being right in your face and feelings with the music. I love all of his albums but this one has spoken to me differently
Its such a gift for these artists to bare their souls and share their deepest thoughts and emotions. I appreciate it so much because it reinforces the fact that we are all human and going through things..good and bad. We're all more alike than different is my point. ❤❤❤

Ronnie doesn’t hate this album. He stopped making albums because of this one, because he felt he put so much into it, but it didn’t get much attention. Or AS much attention as singles do. That’s why he made the switch. Can’t wait for you guys to do more.
I still hope you listen to Ronnie's song on Escape The Fate "The Day I Left The Womb", it's beautiful and raw. And of course I continue to enjoy this journey through the Coming Home album!

By far the best album out there! It’s so underrated! Ronnie can make you feel the emotions he feels when he sings! Nobody in the music industry can make me feel lyrics! Only a select few and Ronnie is one of them!
This is my favorite album of theirs, the deluxe version has a few more songs on it.
This one still makes me teary each time I hear it. And I agree. This album only has like two or three on it that are not favorited in my Apple Music. I really like him so much as an artist. I don't understand why people hate this record, including Ronnie. He went out and did something great, it has some of my favorite songs. Ronnie can music, he raises the bar with everything he does. He is so very talented and this record proves it, Ronnie dude, this record in my lowly loser opinion is very close to the top.

I would love to see more of this album of course, but also some other songs off their first album. Like 'Pick Up The Phone" is a really good one. I would also love to see some more of his ETF stuff, such as "There's No Sympathy For The Dead", "Friends And Alibi's" and lastly 'The Day I Left The Womb". Those are hard hitters for me for his ETF days.

Ronnie actually LOVES this album. He said he was so excited for it’s released. But he said it flopped. Which is disappointing. Because, it is amazing. But loved this reaction gentlemen! Strong work!

I like this album. The vibe is different on this album from the rest of FIR’s catalog but I still dig it. The versatility of sounds is why I like them so much. Just have to be in a different mood when switching this album on.
