The Afghanistan game was important as it put the other semi finalists on notice. “You’ll have to kill us to win.” Whilst beating Pakistan at Lords was great, winning against the unbeaten Indians at their coliseum in front of a sea of blue takes the cake.

India were setting a trap for Australia as all tournament it was likely if you bat first you win, so if India won the toss, they would bowl first and if Australia won the toss they would bat first and it would benefit India. But they didn't know that Australia did a lot of investigating and figured out what India were up to, so Australia kept their cards close to their chest and sprung the counter trap on India....."We'll bowl first thanks." Australia v New Zealand was my favourite match from this World Cup. It was disappointing to see Neesham runout yet again, reminiscent of the World Cup 2019 final. Many a times, even rishab pant has done this due to which he not only missed his deserving tons but even left team india in trouble, like in Sydney test 2021, his 97 runs knock was a special one but he threw away his wicket on a not so good ball. India might have ended up on a losing side too in that test. @@mrdaman99 A team can ask for a pitch of their choosing and set up a trap (like India did) and that is totally fine, but at the end of the day, if a team resorts to a tactic like that, it can backfire, they can get into a mentality that they need it to win. I know the pressure was on India big time, like no other team in history. It was at home, they were huge favourites, crowd was 120000 people and 99% of that crowd were Indian supporters. I get that they probably just wanted to secure the win and make sure of it going their way. Great video mate and enjoyed all of it. I watched every game of the WC. also what u said about Aussie dominance since the 99 wc and the players like gilly, Haydn's, ponting ,Warne etc.. they never really had all that much dominance ever since and , yes they did have success, but nowhere near as destructive success that they once had being world beaters. 2023 was the year that seemed like a break out yr for the success they used to have. Personally I still watch us play every series.. BUT , they did have wonky moments in a lot of thier games , but gee's they have to pat themselves on thier back because cricket aus is what now seems to be back again and with some really good young talent in a line-up but kept out because of the balance and strength they already have. Nicely done video. Just wanted to point out that in the final of the 2023 World Cup, you can look at the similarities to the 1996 World Cup Final where Sri Lanka were victorious. The scores and manner in which the game progressed is eerily similar to that game in 1996.

This WC was an emotional rollercoaster for us . We fought well against India but we were pathetic against SA , making me believe that we're not gonna make the top-4 . But we did it . My few favourite moments in the WC - Sudden & much needed mindset change against Srilanka after 20 overs Stoin's opening spell against Pakistan Cummins's six-hitting , great death bowling & last over fielding magic against NZ Maxi's greatest ever ODI innings Zorbi slogging 29 runs & destroying Poms in the middle order . Trav's allround master class batting , bowling & fielding the SF & final . Bowling & captaining masterclass of Cummins The best WC I have ever watched 😭🥹💛
Just wanted to let you know that i have been bingewatching ur videos for the last few days, truly one of the best channels on youtube when it comes to cricket
australia won the wc after the first innings of the finals itself every fielder gave their life to save the ball in that heat of ahemdabad, every fucking ball which could have reached the boundary was saved by the aussies they alone saved around 20-30 runs from boundaries which left them with a doable score on the board
This is such a great video, even though we all have seen the journey ourselves but this video adds alot to it. another great video 6ixandout, Love from Pakistan
i wish you'd do a doc on australia's unlikely limited overs win vs india in india in 2019. still one of the best limited over bilateral odi series ive ever watched. specially the 4th odi and asthon turner masterclass.

SL and NZ match totally changed the mindset & intent of CHAMPIONS AUS 🔥👌😎
Amazing video to end an amazing series. Well done, and thank you.
As an indian I would say wc was not won by india last year but time can come definitely in near futre for india to lift wc trophies.Thing was that australia had a good management, captain and also good set of playing composition which helped australia in winning last year world cup.I hope india improves their think tank and build a group that can help india in winning world cups in futre.
Nah India's star culture entered ICT ruined Indian cricket. Or players like Kohli play fewer International matches a year but appear in more advertisements
Loved this whole series mate well done. Subscribed!
Nicely done video. Just wanted to point out that in the final of the 2023 World Cup, you can look at the similarities to the 1996 World Cup Final where Sri Lanka were victorious. The scores and manner in which the game progressed is eerily similar to that game in 1996.
New sub here bro after this vid, absolutely awesome vid on our journey to glory, couldn’t have said it better myself, not even our journos here in Australia have done a better vid, thank you bro
Watched this whole video. As a die hard Aussie fan, i found this video very interesting... Love from Bangladesh
Australia had the most iconic matches of this World Cup. Be it the AusvsNz or AusvsAfg and of cours the semi final and final.
Brilliant video and series mate!
Great stuff,mate
Felt like a series!!!
As a life long Aussie Cricket fan, I have to say this video brought goosebumps. Thanks for the content.
this is actually very motivating and inspiring . even we as people should have that never say die attitude to succeed in life. proud to be a aus fan from india. (i love indian team too)
This WC was an emotional rollercoaster for us .
We fought well against India but we were pathetic against SA , making me believe that we're not gonna make the top-4 . But we did it .
My few favourite moments in the WC -
Sudden & much needed mindset change against Srilanka after 20 overs
Stoin's opening spell against Pakistan
Cummins's six-hitting , great death bowling & last over fielding magic against NZ
Maxi's greatest ever ODI innings
Zorbi slogging 29 runs & destroying Poms in the middle order .
Trav's allround master class batting , bowling & fielding the SF & final .
Bowling & captaining masterclass of Cummins
The best WC I have ever watched 😭🥹💛
This video and so many of your others are absolutely class
Can't believe I missed parts 1 and 2. This is the type of content that I need as a new-ish fan to cricket.
awesome video and 3 part series thanks
Awesome video. Keep up the good work!
Excellent presentation. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Just wanted to let you know that i have been bingewatching ur videos for the last few days, truly one of the best channels on youtube when it comes to cricket
One of the best video i've ever seen on TH-cam about cricket ❤😊
Great video. Love the history. It is wonderful.
australia won the wc after the first innings of the finals itself
every fielder gave their life to save the ball in that heat of ahemdabad, every fucking ball which could have reached the boundary was saved by the aussies
they alone saved around 20-30 runs from boundaries which left them with a doable score on the board
Great Video Mate. Keep Up The Fantastic Content. Always Enjoy Watching Your Videos Brother ❤
Thanks once again for a great ride. I had forgotten the details. From one doco maker to another, well done.

Great video mate 👏👏, appreciate your efforts !
Best review from Australia's perspective. I would ask you to make a detailed analysis of the CWC 23 final match.
Love your content my man! Top notch stuff 🙌
A movie should be made on this campaign. Everyone contributed wherever possible. Thank you for this wonderful video, I will cherish this video for a long time. You make the best cricket content on TH-cam.
One word: Underrated
Even though I didn't liked the end as India but your narration is amazing keep it up bro and Australia is amazing as always
I just found your channel..all the videos are for cricket fans to enjoy while having a good meal
Amazing series mate, deserves way more views
Mate what a great video!
That Maxwell Innings was the turning point for their WC campaign. It was the confidence boost they needed.
Unpopular opinion, their game against Pakistan was the one from where they found their lost MOJO back😂
Thanks a lot for this and for the whole series. Was waiting for this badly ❤
Awesome series. What a great year 2023 was for this team.
