Thank you!! I’ve been fighting with the fuses all morning before coming across your video. If I had known about the tool and the spare fuses, I would have saved myself HOURS of frustration!
Hey guys! love your videos, well executed and well explained, they have helped me understand a bit better this contraption called the Evoque, wonderful car! until sometimes breaks ugh lol - this video helped me reach the upper part of the passenger compartment fuse box, I was going crazy trying to figure it out! Many thanks for this and other vids. Cheers from sunny Miami.
BRILLIANT thank you, just what was needed soon to be fitting 13 pin caravan electrics using the plug and play, system previous (idiot) owner/fitter cut into wiring to fit 7 pin trailer socket, so knowing locations of the glovebox fuses and how to access them great help,
@@L663 the issue was simple apparently . It was the battery , as range rover has a funny system of shutting down things automatically when battery percentage drops under 20% of his performance . Thats why my sensors and buttons stopped working .
@@L663 awe!!!! I’m honored that you took the time to search and watch!!! I absolutely adore all your videos! Even the ones that don’t pertain to me and my evoque! Thanks for all the resources!!!
Simon, love the content. Big question.... Is there any plan for you guys to look into changing the info system to latest spec (android) 10.25 from the earlier versions. I have a 2016 HSE but would love the larger screen.
Where is the link to this mystical spreadsheet mentioned a few times throughout the video? This would be VERY helpful to know what is actually where...
Why Range Rover does not use common sense like other car factories and place fuse diagram matching actual lay out. They try to be creative by making everything difficult. Same goes with all other British made cars.
Hi just found this video is very good I have a cigarette socket not working and seems to be the R3 which doesn’t look like the rest of the fuses Is that right?
Hello I like your videos and we all learn by mistakes Something in this video I really miss and hope you can make a update please. You pull a fuse what is great to check with your eyes. But please leave the fuse in and use a light ( don’t know how it’s called in English ) where you put one end on negative and check for positive when the light goes on. I once pulled fuses from a BMW to check parking sensors with contact ON , after pulling the fuses the cars canbus system had 40 faults and had to be deleted. You can check all the fuses on the top with a light without pulling a fuse. Hope it’s helpful for you all I enjoy watching your videos, thank you so much. Have a great day !!! 🇳🇱
@@L663 Thanks Simon! Does it go all the way back to the CJB as that colour? Also do you know where are the FETs located and can they be replaced? Thanks in advance. Andy
Hi - the evoque high level brake light is powered from the BCM Body control module - no fuse This is the same for the LH and RH stop lights in the rear light units. Have all 3 stopped working ? could be the brake light switch on the brake pedal - but this normally thows up a fault. You could disconnect the LH and RH lamp units - see of the high level light works - could be a faulty rear light "tripping" the circuit
Looking for a constant live fuse in the glove compartment would someone be able to tell me what number to use so I can piggyback a dash cam onto it. Also would anyone know the fuse number for the start/stop eco as mines stopped working and starting off thinking it’s the fuse. Thanks
hi there..my infotainment is not working..music fm am radio sat nav and i cannot connect my phone through bluetooth. can i please ask where are the fuses
I have just changed out all interior bulbs, I somehow blew the interior fuse doing so, I have replaced that and all is good again besides the vanity mirror lights, does anyone have any idea as to why they won't work?
These may reset with an ignition cycle ! They seem to be linked to the overhead console lamp supply www.dropbox.com/s/ysx7g0un1ltu2v2/evoque%20vanity%20lights.JPG?dl=0

Thank you very much. I have solved problem with the touch display changing the fuz. Now working again. Best regards from Sweden 👍🏼

what an amazing and helpfull video. Life changing . I was struggling to find some of the fuse locations as my cruise control stopped working .
Interesting - did you find a fix for your issue ?

Yes, earlier evoques were made by Ford which owned land rover at the time I do believe.

Please, tell us how to disable permanentely the eco mode (auto stop start)
Any idea what fuse powers the rear license plate lights? Mine don't seem to work with a new replacement light with relay
Is there a acc fuse in the engine bay fuse box to wire a led strip so it turns on and off with the car and doesn’t stay on permanently

Would you happen to know if the Haldex unit has a dedicated fuse? I cannot find any information in the Manual.
Thank you !

How do I get the F3 F4 F5 cover off? I can see you’ve damaged yours trying to remove it
Do you know if there is a fuse for the break light ?
Hi Simon.
Did you make a spreadsheet showing what everything supplies? Have a rear left brake light issue I'm trying to track back to the CJB.
It is a green and white wire that goes to Pin 8 on the connector - let me know if you need more info

Is it possible?

What could be the cause of my ‘distance to empty” showing 0KM even when I filled with fuel?
What is showing on the fuel guage level ?
My break light is out and I bought new tail light and still the break light won’t turn on what fuse would this be?
Did you get a reply? Do you know now what number fuses for the brake light?

I just looked on eBay, and now you can get 2 fuses in one package. 3 legs. Cleaver Space saving idea. Whatever next ! Micro3

Hi 👋 Make a video L405 as well please
Thanks 🙏
3 fuseboxes ?? IIRC a series LR has 4 fuses for the entire car

The video is acceptable but not as informative as expected. You go to absolute basics. Thank you
