I know a Univ of Phoenix grad who worked in consulting at Accenture in Texas & got an offer from Deloitte. Now, was she black lol, no. She & my other friend who works at Deloitte are both Asian. She was in the Masters program at UOP when she got hired so I believe that helped also. Totally agree with the part about if you can hold yourself well in a convo even though you haven't "traveled there", you'll be taken more serious. I have traveled to the main places which gives me an advantage but there are still many other things I haven't experienced but have exposed myself too, so that gives me an advantage in social interactions & most people can't tell the difference. & I'm a black lesbian with dreads BUT I dress like I belong so... I know I've gotten invited into rooms I shouldn't have been in just because I can keep up with the convo.
Definitely prefer your long form videos 👍👌
Thanks for the note. These super long ones are a pain to upload so I’m glad to know it’s valuable
Same here! Worth it 100%. Thank you.
Target school, particular in Finance, such a big deal but in STEM, not so much.
