Bought these a couple of weeks ago after seeing lots of good comments on some Facebook darts sites...I also got 4 x Blade 5s with similar imperfections. They were supplied with metal feet tho rather than the round plastic tighteners, even tho they have the holes in the back for them. Fortunately I've kept a set from a previous board so I'll reuse them. Great value and definitely worth it for me 😎👍
They are decent for hammering in practice for the price. We bought some and got 2 B5s and 2 B5 DC. The unbranded boards are so more aesthetically pleasing when rotating the board. Our first one is still in good shape after a few months usage. Better than paying 200 quid on 4 boards
Really wanted to take advantage of this offer, either as a single or package of four, but I’m definitely on the wrong side of the pond. The four board package would have cost £200 shipping, single board was £150 shipping. Guess I’m out of luck on this bargain.
This was an amazing purchase before Brexit!, delivery to Ireland is now £88... I did buy these at xmas before Brexit came in and got delivery to Ireland for £20 and got 4 Blade 5s
I'd love to get one for 20£ but 4 for 80£ is a little less appealing with currency convertion. By the way I found a way to remove the lines that separate the sisal sections so you can make your Blade 5 look like a Dual Core, I can tell you how if you'd want to make a video about that.
Ive been ordering these from red dragon for years and always had a blade 5 or whatever the latest version of the winmau blade board was at the time, i decided to treat myself to a unicorn eclipse pro 2 board last month and its terrible! There literally is no risk and the blade 5 is the best board on the market
Im not sure whether its a new addition but you can now buy individual near perfect boards for 26 quid. Ive just bought one and got a blade 5 with minor paint issues. These boards are absolutely fantastic for casual dart players who want a "pro" board without paying a "pro" price. I will definitely buy again. Also, a side note, im pretty sure all the npq boards are "pro" boards (ie not cheap boards that have ugly round staple wires) so youre guarenteed to get a blade 5 at minimum.
@@ciaranhampton1624 mine had veins so its a standard blade 5/6. If yours doesnt have veins then its likely a double core or even possibly a triple core.
I've bought brand new boards from certain manufacturers named after mythical creatures that look worse than these Tbf a bit of a raised wire I prefer struggle to see sometimes when the wires are completely flat

I'm on my second board of this type. Only I didn't buy from Red Dragon, I bought one from Ebay, and the other from Amazon. Neither one had the round wires, and both have been pretty durable.
They look like my hd2 haha. Funnily enough I reverted back to my winmau from the 1990s and even that has less wear showing than the hd 2 and it feels so much better to play on
Never knew what NPQ stood for. For 20£ each with those minor defects they are definitely worth it. Only thing I don't like is the no branding. Makes them look like a cheap board. If the shipping costs weren't so high here on Portugal I would definitely buy them
@@j.d8619 came this morning... 4 staple free dart boards all look like blade 5s to me only thing I can see wrong with them is one the wire is not in the board fully and about of colour missing from odd double and one of the boards has a thicker bull ring.... Bargain for the price... Big plus for me is the no name on the board I've wanted a blank board for ages 🤣
True... I bought a Blade 5 for 50€... And mine Board were new , but it was also not perfect. The wires are sticking out a bit from the beinning and theyre coming out very fast... The colour isnt that nice as well. There the same issues as hard as on the NPQ Boards in the Video...
@@alanroperjr I think it is bc of corona... Everyone got the information that this is probably the best board and everyone wants this exact board... Then they dont really look at production problems or something... Winmau ist getting worse bc of these many boards...

There was a board used in the PL last week that had a similar kink in the wire on the double. Unicorn just don't care how thier boards look on the TV.

absolutely love the clean, uncluttered, unbranded look. That's the way all boards should be.

One could take a soft blow hammer and flat steal plate and maybe pound the wire down a bit more evenly?
