I like Treal's products. They seem to make great quality stuff at reasonable prices. My Gen8 Axe has quite a bit of Treal hop-ups on it. I've never had any issues with any of their stuff. 😎👍👍
I went through the same issue with my trx4 blazer.i put 72grams of brass on the portals and a low cg battery tray.now it’s so much better.love the videos.great info
I think you now understand why the gearing is so close. This truck with spools wasn't intended to run at high speeds. But gearing down real low you have an ultimate control gear and a gear with more punch. Everyone that complained its not wide enough comparing it to the trx4 just don't understand the philosophy behind this truck. Now the trx4 gearing is great because the truck unlocks and can handle at speed, so you want a gear for running locked on rocks and one for bashing over speed bumps. the only thing is this seems setup for brushed use. With a brushless system running more revs and producing more torque, having a lower 1st would give it more control to compete with the brushed crawling at the same wheel speed and a little taller punch gear can get some more torque out of the motor that has it.
Exo, love the course and videos. You may have some type of wheel weights but I take electrical tape upside down and dump #8 lead shot so it sticks to the tape. Then once it’s full I take another piece of tape that about 2 inches longer and stick on top to make a lead “sandwich”. I then have a flexible band of weight that I wrap around the inside of my beadlock wheels. Reinstall foam and tire. It works great. Let me know what you think.
This is really becoming a "Treal Blazer" 😉 Here is a crazy thought... What if you took the foams out of the tires, and replaced with a soft sand, like a beach sand? Not so full that it has no give, but enough to be "full". Maybe it would lower the center of gravity a bit more. One of those ideas that's "so crazy it just might work"?
I ordered a 13turn sensored motor for my Scx10 kit and a brass diff housing😊 any advice..? Wow the wildlife is impressive.. I would love to explore there.. 👍
Even though the diff covers are pretty small, they do seem to improve it a bit on the rocks. Is this one running brass portal covers also? I really like the lower gear ratio as well with the new gears. Do you think you could crawl properly with high gear? Although that clicking is still there, if you compare this video to the ones where you first got it, the clicking isn't anywhere near as bad now.
Experience with my TRX-4 has shown me that regularly driving in rocks will beat the sh*t out of the "diff covers" as well as eventually wear a hole in the bottom of the differential (pumpkin). Affixing a protective skid-plate to the pumpkin as I immediately did to my Capra upon purchase will keep both the pumpkin/diff covers pristine. I would MUCH recommend this modification if you plan to run your SCX10III in the rocks after spending $30 for beautifully finished brass differential covers. BTW; the 1mm of ground clearance lost by installing a plastic or metallic skid-plate will NOT be noticed. The inevitable damage to the $30 brass diff cover and eventual axle housing replacement by NOT installing a skid-plate WILL be noticed!
If you want weight why not add the Vitavon portal covers that fit the Capra. The SCX10 III and Capra axles are the same just narrower and offset front pumpkin
Scx10iii looks a bit "saggy" in the rear....is that normal with the kit? I am just not a fan of that look on RCs....or in real life...lol....just wondering if the shocks are already that worn or if you have it set to droop some?

The lizard thingy is awesome man🤙🏽. I think he's just a offroad enthusiast 😜🤣
That, or the new mascot for the channel.
One hell of a upgrade
Nice look with the Treal diff covers, did look like it helped on a couple of the tests, 👍👊🔥

Start with the stock pinion. You may need to smaller.

The lizard just wants it nice rocky sunning spot and you keep chasing him away!

Axial needs to make aluminum axle housings!
you added brass to both, what if you only added it to the front?
Brass the world cause we dont know how to tune our truck any other way
Make trail video like a kisuns rc life

trueboy actionhero that’s the kind of video I like to try and make. I’m always looking for new locations for my next video.
