Resident Evil 5 Chris Redfield is by far by Favourite Character his Strength and Badassry of Punching a Boulder really inspired me to become like him

They literally doubled back on Chris' character arc from RE5 in 6. The subplot of the game was that at the beginning Chris says he wasn't sure if what he was doing was making a difference in the world and maybe he shouldn't bother but after he saves Jill and defeats Wesker he smiles and says "Yeah, it's worth it"
Then they make him an angry, drunken idiot who went on a spiral more chaotic than losing the girl whom he has been partnered with for years over some rando commandos.
I literally hate RE6 for what they did to Chris and they continued to make one of the most optimistic protagonists in the series into an emo edgelord. It's honestly devastating as a Chris fan his personality is all over the place from 6-8. If they ever remake 6 I hope they change his story entirely.

or they can just stop fucking remaking games and make something new, would be fantastic.
He was suffering from low testosterone after the BSAA cut him off from his steroids after RE5 because he couldn't pass a piss test.

Given the whole plot hole of Jake being born with powers before Wesker got his, it probably would've been better if Jake wasn't a son, but a Clone of wesker.

Wooooow. I never considered alot of the things Rebecca does, but yeah, dealing with 2 infested mansions back to back is pretty impressive, I'll accept an s tier. Also my world is flipped upside down because I also thought the crimson head in the graveyard was George Trevor. I could have sworn you find a bit or somthing that mentioned it, but guess I was mistaken 😜 great video once again!
I try to be as informative as I can. And yeah, in that moment with the Crimson Head, my thinking is aligned with Biden. Went years thinking it was Trevor because it made more sense than what apparently we got!
@@SakiChronicles it just made so much sense for it to be George, I know it mentioned in text that Lisa's mother died in experiments or somthing? But they never said what happened to George, makes me wonder where so many people including myself got this idea. from
@@SakiChroniclesIt should have been. Would have been more dramatic, plus it would have meant that his fate was to be experimented on, just like his wife and daughter. Spencer clearly wanted to torment him, what with trapping him in his own mansion and making him look at his own gravestone, and what better way than turning him into an undead monster?
I appreciate you giving Sheva some love, shes a great character and 100% deserves to return. But i don't agree with most RE6 rankings, its nothing against you or anything, hell you're probably right, but I just love RE6 and am very biased toward it so don't take my opinion too seriously.

Billy did side jump in a cramped train room and shoot two jumping leeches coming at him while still in the air. That’s some incredible accuracy and reaction time. Low A tier for me.

You should've included Umbrella Chronicles. It really bridged Rebecca's story from Zero to Remake and Richard becomes a big brother with a note about how his sister died and he feels guilty about it. Wesker waking up with his powers was dope, too.
I just watched The predetor, what a thrilling film it's so tense... I love the suggestiveness of The Predator; it was unknown, even when it's seen it's not given explanation it's kept completely alien... and as an alien it was sick the stealth and prowel, the strength and grace... the way it killed people, it's like animal, it felt emotionless if cruel... it denyed easy kills, it wanted to scare the prey; to see the prey retreat or panic, it picked them off one by one to cause this. I love that anytime there's a P.O.V shot the Predator could've taken them out in one fell swoop... instead it savours the hunt, it draws it out, and when it's has Arnold in one place and he shouts "I'm right here, kill me come and kill me" it doesn't, it stands over him to see him powerless not let it defy him... it's so cool, yeah I know it's off topic... Just thought I'd throw that out there, I thought it was steller horror/action film.

You're right, I just wanted to focus on the core games without using Umbrella Chronicles. UC has a lot of back story and such that answer alot of questions. Perhaps in a future video I'll get to ranking the side games/characters too

It's disappointing how they made Leon so serious in 6.
It's also weird how Chris body went from re5 to re6.
Not gonna lie he looks fat in 6. Imagine what his campaign would be like if Sheva returned.

That's crazy to me considering Sherry looks significantly younger than 12 in RE2 I mean Claire is only 5'6 and sherry is waaaaaaay shorter than her in the original game. It seems like they wanted her to be like 8 or 9 but then retconned it to make her closer to Jake's age imo.

Okay I want to say something and it's my biggest personal gripe on RE4 Remake (Also going into a little bit of Spoiler territory, but it needs to be addressed) I wished they kept Ashley's health instead of incapacitated system; I can't tell you how many times the Ganados got a lucky shot when she was down. All and all, I really liked it better to delvoped her health bar instead of having to pick her up every 2 seconds.
At least Donny and Creepy Joe have matured a little bit this time
I love how Noah-Gervais Caldwell was so taken aback by RE0's plot. "All of the sudden, racially motivated warcrimes!"
Kinda funny how Billy Coen's plot line actually has nothing to do with viruses or the larger plot. Just a couple of marines doing a "police action" in some African country and resorting to mass murder which they pinned on Billy. UNLESS...they were there to secure the Stairway to the Sun and they want Billy executed because they're worried he knows about it. But that's just a fan theory.
I admit, I've thought of that theory too. It would explain a bit more, but unfortunately, I think we just need to chalk Zero up to 'People got high, and things got weird'. :D

Obama actually makes a huge point against Rebecca. He basically confirms that she has the biggest case of plot armour, since everyone else has experience except her and she survived 😮

And another reason y I think your incorrect about Chris letting billions of people die is his strong muscles, Chris grew those muscles just so he can fight Wesker. So it wouldn't make sense if Chris had just stop going after Wesker even tho the whole point of him growing those muscles was to fight Wesker.
50:24 Well the 1st and 2nd chapter does that if your playing as Leon and the AI playing Helana. And only chapter 1/2 feels like Helana's campaign.

Correct. It's a free program I used called ElevenLabs. I write the lines and then plug them in. Get the right one that I like and put them all together. :D

Ok, so, the story about Josh is that after I had finished up the writing, the voices, and halfway through the editing, that's when I realized I had missed him! However, do not lose hope. I have plans for future ranking vids, and he'll pop up for his turn, I promise!

I think the more egregious example is the fucking Eggs.
Gonna sound sacrilegious but RE6 has almost the same amount of inventory slots but guns are relegated to their own inventory, leaving you with at least 3 more slots for ammo. Again, only if we compare inventory and not the games surrounding it.
Re6 had a weird inventory system. But it was still good

Just started the vid and I’m glad you brought up the shitty inventory since it was the only thing I thought you missed out on on that amazing RE Ranking vid that you released 4 months ago and I already watched it 8 times!
Oh yeah. I got a lot of comments on it, so I wanted to address it too.

Facts.
The original resident evil has a total of 315 bullets and 91 shotgun shells, not including special ammo and "explosive shells." That's a pitiful amount of ammunition. I can carry more than that in my ass and still have room for 3 green herbs and a rocket launcher.
Really don't get the complaint of not being able to move and aim in re4. The game is designed with it in mind, if you get hit then you messed up. All you have to do is just back up or not miss.
The Pope got shot like 8 times and survived, same with Ronald Reagan, 50 Cent, Andy Warhol, Joseph Guzman, and a million other people who are probably more qualified than Rebecca to survive a zombie aids apocalypse. I would be the best S.T.A.R.S member. I would have more ammo than all of the current cast combined because I would just bring a backpack.🤯
My biggest problem with Rebecca in S tier is the same thing that knocked Leon from RE6 down to B tier "She felt like a side piece in her own story." She is constantly being rescued a majority of the time she's on screen and the only reason Billy couldn't mix herbs was because if they allowed him to he wouldn't have needed Rebecca. He's faster with his guns, has significantly more health and is faster running iirc.
Plus, Billy actually grew as a character where as Rebecca stayed the same. Her accepting Billy felt more like a reaction to his growth rather than her own as a person.
Of all the characters in S tier I feel she has none of the impact on the franchise. All the S ranks were influential to the games and are instantly recognizable because of them but if they were to cut Rebecca from 0 or Remake 1 I feel like her presence wouldn't be missed.
At absolute HIGHEST, I would go A tier since she does have some good moments but even Barry was capable of rigging the explosion in the Jill ending, it seems like all that was needed was time to do it. People definitely forget that every single member of STARS is an elite agent and are far more intelligent than the average person as they are a special task force and need adaptability so Rebecca is hardly unique for having varied skills.
The idea of her being S when every character besides Nemesis needed multiple games of being playable and numerous cutscenes to attain that status is crazy to me imho

I’m with Joe on RE4 I always felt the game was incredibly overrated. Is it good yes but it isn’t like it’s the greatest game that’s ever been made. And to touch on something Donald says he says that Leon is a trained individual and can dodge boulders apparently he forgot that Jill and Chris are just as well trained both served in the military and have extensive combat experience. And Donald himself even talked about how Jill was dodging Nemesis before Leon was even doing it. So no I disagree with Leon’s placement on this list but that’s just me lol.
