Wow! Thank you so much for having this up and installing it, I was truly looking how to up grade may sound system and this really does help. I'm just not too cool with that 6 CD player still active and taking up some space under the system.
the OG B15 sentra, i have an 04 sentra with a kenwood kvt-617 with the nav617 and kna510 Sirius adapter with a Garmin Super Antenna for the xm (back then it was 2 services, sirius and xm). on summer days you couldn't even have the screen out because it blocked the main AC vents. but still running strong about 16 years later. only updated the amps and the speakers. good install.
Great video, i got an SSL brand but it is identical to the Boss unit. Wasnt sure what to do with parking brake wire, glad i can just ground it. Quick note - your description says double DIN, but this is a single DIN unit.
The good thing about that cd changer is, these cars are sitting for parts everywhere and the non changer dash panel is readily available. I just don't understand why an early 2000s Japanese designed Sentra didn't have a double din from the factory when there was plenty of dash real estate available.
Note , make sure you dont get a single din with the flip screen for these nissan sentras. The dash kit did not fit on mine . Even with some modification... NN1495SDB
I have a 2006 Nissan Sentra with the Rockford Fosgate my sub and rear speakers don't work according to the wiring diagram the head unit supplies power to the subs and rear speakers how can I replace the head unit and bypass the amp or what is the easiest solution to get this system back working
We had the rockford fosgate system as well and no additional steps were needed as our new radio seamlessly worked with the factory amplifier equipment.
Same question, because I ordered the wiring harness you linked with the RCA outputs and matched color for color but no sound.. I even put used the blue/white wire . No sound. Rockford fosfate 2006 Sentra also….
@@urkool7543 I was able to get it going . Matching all the wires and in regards to the 4 cables I only used 2 of them rca cables on the (left) top and bottom . Can’t control the sound from left to right or front to rear but at least all my speakers have even sound coming out of them now.
Hi, I saw your video and I was quite excited to try this on my Sentra 2006 but looking on Reddit it seems the quality of the Boss Audio system head units is quite bad, do you have any update or comments on that?
Hey, I have a question! I'd love your help on it. I have a 2006 nissan sentra. I did everything like you shown. However you said to connect the blue and white wire but I didn't and I still got audio. However I'm having issue with the signal for back up camera. It keeps saying signal lost. Any idea?
Also, where did you put the wires for the Apple CarPlay/Android USB connections? Didn’t see any place to put mine but behind the radio and not in sight?
Certain features are available when the parking brake wire on the radio is connected. Most brands (except pioneer and alpine) you can simply ground that wire to achieve those features (like video in motion).
I wish I could've hired you. I paid a guy from Facebook marketplace to come install my single din radio on my Sentra 2006 and he busted the dashboard light because he touched two cables and the bulb popped, he also caused my ac knob to unsync and he poorly install the radio so the dash looks broken:(
So my sentra has the Rockford fosgate setup with the 8 inch subwoofer in the trunk, and i want to run my 2 ct sounds 12s with a ct 1000 mono amp with this head unit, what harness would i need and how would i take out the subwoofer and also factory sub amp without, door speakers amp, (i want to run my aftermarket subs with an rca cable to the amp and a remote wire ran to
@@urkool7543 there's a harness at Walmart that'll work for it and I did RCA's to my subs and doors, I just unhooked the factory sub and zipties the harness in the trunk, and removed the mount brackets
Hi please i need help, i am in miami, i have a 2006 nissan sentra and hired some guy to install my radio. He fucked it up, broke my dashboard lights and the radio is not even properly installed. I don’t know if someone nnows how to fix it or can recommend someone to help me
Self-tapping screw with an impact driver. Predrill the hole if needed before you put the screw in. Also feel free to use another ground location if needed.

Hello can u please send me a link so that I can order that same radio I have the exact same car color and all no tints.
I'm going to try this soon on my radio! It's only on Am radio and it doesn't change to aux or anything so this is very helpful I will keep you updated

I hear people usually forget about the amp wires.

Great work you made that easy.
My car is tore apart as I speak. Same car. Same color. Same radii. I've removed dash an old radii. Git a 10in screen comin. Brackets and wiring
The top compartment is easily removed by opening the lid and pulling it towards you. No prying needed.

How was the Nissan factory radio able to power itself without a ground in the wiring harness? That's what puzzles me.
Where can I found a wiring diagram of a 2006 nissan sentra

Where can I get one like that in 2024 ? I am in Mexico
I installed an aftermarket radio and my dash cluster didn't work after does yours work
How much a job like this will cost you?

Idk if you will see this but my only question is does it block any controls or vents?
Partially, it's a very large screen.
Can you even take out the keys of the switch? 😅

does the cd changer still work after installing the screen? thanks!
nope, becomes obsolete.
You grounded a parking break? I’m confused on what that is

How do I know what stereos are compatible with a 2000 nissan?
Any radio really works, just a matter of wiring, better to use a single din
Would this work for a 2014 nissan sentra?
The radio, yes, however parts will differ, so send us a message on facebook and we can provide links to your specific trim and year sentra!
