I flew in a Spitfire on the 6th of October 2021 for my 60th with Pilot Jim Schofield at Goodward. We met with another Spitfire and flew around Selsey. Absolutely fantastic experience. Upon landing, the other Spitfire was flown by Matt Jones. I had previously read a bit in the Daily Mail about the Silver Spitfire and recognised Matt's name when he told me. We had a brief chat. But after watching this video. I wish I had taken it in a bit more and asked a few more questions & had a photo. I feel in awe now. And realise what a tremendous task this really was. Unbelievable. Thanks Matt. I'm glad you have a healthy son. Thanks to all at Goodwood for a fantastic experience. And I even did the simulater first. Which was great.
Matt Jones...straight out of Eagle, Adventure, Hotspur, Superman,Victor, Champion...and a good presenter as well already!....Braddock and Rockfist Rogan...and Biggles would be proud!

Absolutely brilliant!
I'm not sure if I remember right, but is there a chance I saw this same spitfire at Duxford Airfield around 2019?
