My grandfather had a kitty hawk propeller in his workshop, and also model A Ford wheel set in the wood shed, later when I was 17 I had an Employment with a vintage and classic restoration coach builders company and my grandfather's model A wheels where purchased by my employer in the restoration of his his car, his final retirement project, I always wonder what happened to the kitty hawk propeller.
Wouldn’t it be amazing , if all of the missing parts that he found to reassemble his plane , were the exact same parts that originally were on the plane from the factory .
Wonderful the 'old World' skills are still around to do these wonderful restorations and the chaps that collected all the old bits and new old stock to get these old birds flying again to keep the memory going!.. Nice one!. Nuff said
Why does this restoration have to be done on a budget and in a time frame." And the clock is ticking". Who gives a f***. I just wanted to go to the last five minutes of the last episode and say "ooh, nice Spitfire'
With in a minute the narrative puts drama into the story to create tension. Decided to skip it, don’t need it. The story of restoring anything is interesting enough without the crap the films director or production manager add to make it a marketable product, in their opinion.

After signing his name, he should have added the date he last flew. It's amazing that the pilot got to see the aircraft again.
Such a great story and series.
Thank you for uploading this!!

The eliptical wing had nothing to do with 400 mph. It comes into its own at high lift coefficients reducing drag.
At high speed it does nothing
