I've personally known about both for a while, and I actually switched from molotow to posca just because how it lays down. Even though the molotow has a better color range.

Hey Graffiti artist here. Go to the Bombing Science website to buy your molotows. Dick blick costs double what they sell them for. They are like 4 bucks each on that site. You should also try the Krink K 11 markers. Also acrylic and cool af.

I wonder if it’s possible to refill poscas with the Molotow refill ink. Lots of TH-cam’s on how to refill poscas with high flow acrylic, but high flow is slightly glossy not matte.

I'm glad you made this video! Lately I've been feeling the urge to buy some poscas, so this is coming in handy! I love how in depth you went with it :)

Thank you! I am doing some research for my next video and your video was very helpful. I painted my snickers with the Molotow and they ended up pretty sweet. I was wondering how well the Posca would perform on this type of application (shoe painting) but seeing your video let me to believe I made the right choice by going with the Molotow markers. Nice in depth comparison video. Keep it up!

Am trying out the Molotow and the Posca’s on acrylic paints for just one month now,the Posca’s are really nice for making the outside lines, for coloring in are the molotow’s way better,I always paint outside and in the sun, they both dry really fast, with the Posca paint the coloring cracks and the Molotow nothing at all!!!!
So for me are the Posca’s better for lines, and for coloring big shapes are the Molotow better and easier!!!!

For white highlights over black ink, the molotow covers much better than the posca.

Something I rarely see covered in these reviews is examining how these "acrylic" inks react to water once applied. I don't know about Poscas, but when I tried to use a very soft brush to apply an acrylic insulating layer on a painting done with Molotow One4All, the inks smeared a lot. And that was after weeks of drying. It is a little mentioned but important detail. The usual solution is to spray the acrylic insulating layer. But that's not something everyone likes.
Another concern expressed by some fine artists is the mysterious chemical content of Molotow inks. They will look very bright, intense and pretty, but what are they made of? How lightfast are each? In professional paint lines it is now standard to state the pigment content (PB29 = Ultramarine Blue, PV22, PY35, etc.) on the containers. It is also specified whether it is a single pigment or several and how lightfast they are. A wealth of literature can be examined on how these pigments behave. With these markers, you don't know.
My solution is to buy empty Molotow markers (which are excellent) and fill them with very low viscosity acrylic paints made for professional fine artists.

I use uniposca. Reason being price is a biggy. Also availability. I do prefer using the Molotow as i find them easier also better colour range. BUT. Honestly im waiting for a third company to join in that is far superior in both Flow. Coverage, Colour Range and Cost. Its a big market now, way less niche than it use to be. 😁

For me I prefer Molotow markers, special the paint is more better coverage and the paint is more them posca(M5ml , post 2.5ml) also if I use posca on some plastic material is too easy scratches too many different and quality is also different ,I paid many times to test both brand!

molotow is nicer colour range etc. but honestly the nibs suck and get soft easy. poscas are better al rounder in my opinion. and cheaper.
