No. Car repossession applies only to the 50 states plus Puerto Rico. United States law does not apply in other countries, so the contract is not valid. Worst advise ever. - Paint your car a different color? That'll cost more than a car payment....and probably look like crap. - Block it in with another car? They'll drag other cars out of the way - Trade it with a relative that lives far away? Many new and used cars get a cheap GPS like an AVAS unit that allows ignition block. All that will do is leave your relative stranded. - Front wheel or rear wheel drive doesn't matter. They'll drag it down the street and around the corner to a place where they can dolly it. The bank doesn't want your car, work out a deal to catch up on your payments and stick to it. You signed a contract, keep your word.

HA! This is funny, reminds me of a repo from last year. Guy owed me for months, hadn't paid, wasn't answering calls or mail, and he was hiding the car pretty good. Couldn't get to it at his residence, plus his work had a secured lot. It's a manufacturing plant for tires. Anyways, my go-to guy tried for months, couldn't get it. I tried another guy, nada. So I try a third guy. Guy #3 asks if I have a similar model car on my lot, which i did not. So he takes me to a competitor's car lot, we look at a similar car, and he showed me how to quickly find and pinch the fuel line with some special pliers. It wouldn't damage the fuel line, but it would choke off the fuel and keep the car from starting. I had to dress in my Sunday best, and ask the security guard for permission to walk in and drop off my resume as if I was applying for a job. While I was in there, I pinched the fuel line on the guy's car. That same evening, guy #3 had the car. He apparently ripped a 50 dollar bill in half, gave one half to the security guard and told him, "I'm starting a new towing service, if you know anyone who needs a tow, and they call me, I'll give you the other half to that 50". So debtor gets off work, and his car wouldn't start, and wouldn't you know it... the security guard saw it as an opportunity to cash in on that 50. Guy #3 came, picked up the car, told the debtor to call a taxi because insurance regulations prohibit anyone from riding with him. That left guy #3 alone with the car. That was all she wrote.
So you're admitting to a Tort of trespassing to chattel? You're lucky the debtor didn't realize that, otherwise a decent Civil Attorney would have taken you to the bank.
They have cameras that check plates. Leaving it down the road isnt going to help you have to have it behind a gate or garage. The repo man cant tresspass onto your property peer into the windows
So pay a professional organization like say meico to paint your car say dark blue because your certainly not going to have a backyard painter mess your car up no way no how. The paint job a good one will run you say $3,000 - $4,000 dollars. So now if your behind say 4 months you literally could have just paid what u were behind. Ok so now you’re out of $4,000 and the vehicle is still on the repo list so $4,000 worth of equity just got flushed down the toilet. So now you’re $4k in the hole. The repo guys hire spotters who actually have no life no job, on disability and need extra cash so it’s not costing the repo guy thousands of dollars a day waiting and burning gas trying to find you. He could instead make use of the time actually repoing cars sitting in driveways waiting to be easily towed. The spotter sits and waits as it cost him little to nothing to sit by your house and figure out when u leave and return. Once he sees the car a different color the first thing they do is assume it got painted or wrapped as what’s the likelihood hood the car missing has a duplicate color there about. It’s not trust me they are stupid. They going to look at the Vin and boom 💥 now it’s on. If they get it you’re out of $4k and you still owe. Thats the dumbest idea anyone has ever said.
If you don't pay for your stuff, you are a thief plain and simple. Try transferring your title without the loan owner approval it not going to fly. And painting the car costs thousands of dollars. If you can't pay the loan, how are you going to pay for the paint job, and the repo man checks the vin number duh. Man, stop buying things you can't afford.
The best way to repo proof is to know a older gentleman who owns a car lift who doesnt take bribes I used this to my advantage first step before lifting the car take your license plates off secondly take the wheels off and chuck them inside the car then lift the car into the air and be sure the lift is locked otherwise the car can or will fall and probably total it once you ensure the locks are on close the garage and call a friend to come get you I did this before because my work screwed up on my paycheck and while the repo man found it he couldn’t do squat about it
The man said he uses the eye in the sky to find me. (?). Can they access traffic cams etc? And the law says they cannot come onto your property. (?). Comments?
If finance companies didn’t scam people by allowing them to buy cars that they can’t afford, in a perfect world, there would be no repo man. They wouldn’t exist.
Might want to check the validity of this but I have a friend who works at a bank . She said if you call the police while they are repo the vehicle, keep the repo man busy while someone calls to report that someone is trying to steal your car. If the police gets there, they have to leave the vehicle and it’s your’s bought and paid for.
That’s not how it works silly. Like 80% of cars reprocessed comes from sudden change in employment or employment termination buying a vehicle they couldn’t afford. The banks wouldn’t loan you the money if they believed you couldn’t pay it, that’s why they do credit check and wage checks with pay stubs. They want to see 3-5x the budget to buy the car as they don’t want to repossess the car they want you to pay the car off that’s how they make money. You don’t know nothing about economics
@ That’s how it used to be and should still be. You used to need 20% down too. But then bank loan people started getting pressure to meet quotas and they started giving loans to everyone with a pulse. I was shocked once when I bought a new car and after bringing all my pay stubs and bank records I was told “we don’t need all that”. I guess the lure of 29% interest returns got the better of them. Furthermore, if you don’t have the resources to pay your bills for a few months if you lose your job you shouldn’t be buying the car in the first place.
You did that pretty well. Sometimes I thought you were serious about it. For anyone who did watch this for serious tips to protect yourself from the repoman, MAKE THE DAMN CAR PAYMENT!!! If you don't, then yes, I'm for the repoman because you're basically a thief.

Good question can they tow you if you parked over the curb like one those concrete stops make sure you don’t hit car in parked on there other side or to close to building, or f you parked over it there not able to get there lift or go jacks under right?
They can put it on a rollback.
@@bosco411 even if there’s a curb then the concrete stop
Like there’s a curb then empty space then concrete stop and you have tire in the middle they can’t put anything around your tire
@@steverodriguez4871 yes. A rollback can lift it over.
My rv is behind an rv gate? Can they call cops and have me open rv gate?
This guys examples arehillarious
😂 straight common sense at this point
Worst advise ever.
- Paint your car a different color? That'll cost more than a car payment....and probably look like crap.
- Block it in with another car? They'll drag other cars out of the way
- Trade it with a relative that lives far away? Many new and used cars get a cheap GPS like an AVAS unit that allows ignition block. All that will do is leave your relative stranded.
- Front wheel or rear wheel drive doesn't matter. They'll drag it down the street and around the corner to a place where they can dolly it.
The bank doesn't want your car, work out a deal to catch up on your payments and stick to it. You signed a contract, keep your word.
As a repo man myself I approve this message
they cant touch any other cars to get to the one they need. If they get caught its big trouble and now everyone has cameras so you would be caught.
Bro they can not move anybody else vehicles to tow away a repo the. If they damage somebody else car in the process they can be sued or now a days they might hit end up getting shot at man that’s wild 😂 move people cars out the way to get to a repo is madness lol
You must work for the bank😂😂😂
Trust me we can still move your car 😂
I’ve done heard a lot of stories about the repo man and them people creep around the neighborhood when you least expected if they know that your car or truck is on the repo list, I guarantee you the man is going to take it. Yes, hide your vehicle away from them don’t look obviouspay your bills people and you don’t have to look over your shoulder.
your gonna spend 3k on a paint job yet you wont make the payment, brilliant friggen plan!........
how about call the damn bank before you go late and get your payment deffered to back end of the loan, JC people will spend more energy and time doing the wrong thing vs making 1 simple phone call
newer cars have GPS and you really think a repo guy hasnt seen everything under the sun
Paint job 300-509 in my city the price of one of my car payments 🤣

Only way is to remove the tracker
Not all cars have a tracker. They have a GPS that is in the ECU. Without the ECU the car won't run.
@@bosco411 well to locate any vehicle that the finance company wants to find to prevent the hastle of a repleven.. a tracker itself has to be installed in the ECU unit to recieve the GPS data from the ECU. If a car can be tracked there will always be a way it can be untracked.

I am trying...........🤔
Sounds like he's making your life hard lol.
Sounds like this repo guys making everyone’s life hard..I mean there are jobs and then there are jobs…find a better profession than exploiting people who literally need a way of transportation to pay for the soul you just took. I mean, let’s be real. I’m surprised most tow truck drivers are still okay and not like prisoners of war ✨✨ good thing most people exhibit better demonstrative character than tow truck drivers ✨✨ I could be a tow truck driver but to me they’re like scabs just traitors for the system with a just cause like “feeding your family” when you’re literally aiding in taking from others and there are other ways to feed your family also I don’t want to hear that “they ( the towed) got themselves into this” bs…I didn’t ask for my rent to go up or groceries hell I didn’t ask to even be here but at least we have people supporting the decision to make life as hard as possible 🎉
@@no_sis_the_g_is_silent sounds like terrible parenting led you to hate tow truck drivers. Also, most tow truck drivers dont do repo work.
Cars are an absolute luxury.
1. The public cameras on street have license plate readers that can provide the general location of your careful of giving it to a family member.
#2. If you can afford to paint your car, you can pay the loan. AND, just pay the loan and avoid the repo in the first place.
Great video.... but is he drunk? (Very drunk?!)
Hide the car in an cage made from brass. No signal in our out.
That is hilarious!!!!
Mylar is way cheaper & comes in huge sheets. It blocks signals
tin foil wrap?
love it...Great content
Ok, most cars today built after 1999 have a tracking system or chip in the computer that they can track if they really want to get it. What you are talking about used to work...I remember those days. You will have to disable the chip first on todays cars.
Really a chip? How to disable what places do that?
why would bank have access to the chip, though?
What if you just pay your bills? Just a thought.
Who would have thought that was a thing......
Shut up
Most banks had placed a gps on your car to find it later. Gl with this
I salute you!

Sometimes they hire private detectives I've been told is. That true?
This was a great video thank you.
Sorry but no. They do not hire private detectives. Repo companies are way more efficient. Plus repo companies can do more.
Only one way to hide your car 🚗 is to have it park in your driveway and put a car behind it at night
That only stops honest repo guys.......
@@bosco411 how will a dishonest repo get it ?

Thank you for watching!
If you have money to change the color on the car just pay the bill 😂😂
That is so awesome!!!!
Wow that was a Jason Bourne level repo lol.
So you're admitting to a Tort of trespassing to chattel? You're lucky the debtor didn't realize that, otherwise a decent Civil Attorney would have taken you to the bank.
Not trespassing
Moral of the story, it only costs some people $50 to snitch
Here's an idea:
MAKE YOUR PAYMENTS!!!
If you just do that, I PROMISE the bank, and hence, the repo man will leave you alone.
Just sayin'...
They have cameras that check plates. Leaving it down the road isnt going to help you have to have it behind a gate or garage. The repo man cant tresspass onto your property peer into the windows
False private property laws don’t apply to us only breach of peace only rule is we aren’t allowed to cut locks to get our car
Well they got tracking devices now
Maybe just pay your bill
If you can afford to paint the car, when I just be honest and pay the note!?!?!
🔴THE NEW TECHNOLOGY IS SO ADVANCED.. AND NOW ANY CAR IN THE FREEWAY CAN READ YOUR PLATES AND REPO GET TO YOU 💯💯💯SURE.. UNLESS YOU CHANGE THE PLATES
6. Pay yo bills.
The best way to repo proof is to know a older gentleman who owns a car lift who doesnt take bribes I used this to my advantage first step before lifting the car take your license plates off secondly take the wheels off and chuck them inside the car then lift the car into the air and be sure the lift is locked otherwise the car can or will fall and probably total it once you ensure the locks are on close the garage and call a friend to come get you I did this before because my work screwed up on my paycheck and while the repo man found it he couldn’t do squat about it
I was park about 10 blocks away in the city ,this mf found it but lucky for me I had it blocked in , he had to have burn 20 gallons of gas looking
That is awesome!!!!!
plate scanners on the tow truck...just like a cop car....tow trucks are driving all day
Just pay ya damn bill or turn it back in..simple
They found my new job 😅
The man said he uses the eye in the sky to find me. (?). Can they access traffic cams etc? And the law says they cannot come onto your property. (?). Comments?
If everyone paid their payment on time in a perfect world they'd would be no repo men. They wouldn't exist.

You clearly know nothing about the way they find your car. All of your solutions will ever work. Pay for your car like you agreed to.
Lol this is what I'm here for!
Thank you for watching!!!!!
I have a better idea, don’t buy a car you can’t afford and if you do, pay your bills.
How about you just pay your bills? God help us…
Funny, with today's tech, they will use the gps device they placed on your car! Newer vehicles are easy to find.
Do not buy a car on Finance!

#6 Pay the damn bill
The easiest way to keep your car from repoman is to PAY THE PAYMENTS.
My neighbor drove the car over to Mexico, I left it in his mom's garage for 2 years. He kept paying the registration. Problem solved
That is a very good idea!!!!!
You did that pretty well. Sometimes I thought you were serious about it. For anyone who did watch this for serious tips to protect yourself from the repoman, MAKE THE DAMN CAR PAYMENT!!! If you don't, then yes, I'm for the repoman because you're basically a thief.

@@apostolicashley7444 Sorry if that happened but do you get to walk out of grocery store with a cart full of food and say that? No, you have to pay for them. Same with a car.

I own a buy here pay here car lot and had to chase my vehicles down all the time and wondered how you if if someone basically stole your vehicle. I have to buy the vehicle get it transported to my lot make repairs make sure it passes inspection and is safe. So a loser can steal it or destroy it or most importantly cancel the insurance and wreck it and cause damage to other peoples property. But here’s the game changer wireless gps smaller than a key fob the batteries last 7 years but think what you are teaching people when I repo a vehicle I have to pay a repo fee and cut new keys get it fixed and then cleaned up to sell it again. So think about what you are teaching dead beats how to steal.
Wireless GPS units are the way to go. I had a company that could disable a car for me to pick up.
you're inserting your personal experience and calling everyone seeking this advice a deadbeat. Your deadbeat customers are only a specific scenario in which a car is repossessed.
#1 should be to pay your car note. That is a guaranteed way to keep a repo man from setting his sight on your vehicle.
