Delves are for people like my wife. She absolutely loves the game but she doesn’t get how rotations work. She will spam 2-4 buttons and just have a blast doing it.

I think the delves will end up having a spectrum they are for. The lower levels will be for people like your wife but I think if you really push it then it will be more like mage tower difficulty but then again, I could be wrong only time will tell.

Timestamps to apply to the timeline requires a specific amount of channel subscribers. Tell your friends!

Lots of 'thoughts and feelings' questions and discussion. Which is good and all but I was hoping for more questions to Naguura about her tips regarding 'how to improve to be a bit better than average' as per the podcast goal and also given season 4 is just starting. It was still interesting though! Keep them coming! (And thank you!)

Another thing i hope they look at for mists is incorp and afflicted spawn points during the moonberry fight with the duplicates. It was awful with explosive spawns on the other side of the room where no one is

About being the right Covenant for the re-visited SL dungeons, I see it as both less of a problem and more of a problem.
Since we have no real player power tied to the Covenants anymore. Yes if you return to Shadowlands you will get your Covenant Minor and Major abilities again, but I guess Blizz can disable those in dungeons above Heroic difficulty. I can see how using Fleshcraft which scales with your current maximum HP could be VERY powerful. But if the abilities from Covenants are so minor to the point of being useless you can jsut pick whichever covenant is used in the dungeon.
On the flipside then, can we expect players to first teleport to Oribos to change Covenant between Kyrian and Night Fae depending on the dungeon they want to clear before using their M+ teleport to get to the dungeon itself? Seems like a lot of hassle..
So I end up agreeing that they should rework the SL dungeons, at least in m+ so that those without TWW can still play them as they were intended, so that the Covenants are no longer part of the mechanics. No needing NF to enable the GY halfway through etc.

Naguura really hit the nail on the head with the UI. I really dislike watching streams because it is so hard to make out other people's set-up. Even something as simple as trying to find the Key Level strains my eyes.

“Positive affixes have a negative effect by not playing around them, since the dungeon will be tuned around having them”
Naguura just changed my opinion on this. Very well said.

Having "nodes" in Dungeons that interact with professions, Classes or Races.
I don't think they should be gamebreaking, but since there is a level of complaint about classes being mandatory buffs or utility (BRess, Bloodlust), and with players complaining that there should be scrolls in the game that give a similar but slightly weaker buff to compensate for when that class is not available, why not use these "nudes" be used to give access to that?
If you don't have a BRess, is it so horrible that you can instead bring an Engineer? If you don't have Bloodlust, is it so horrible that you can use Drums? If you don't have a Priest for Mind Sooth, maybe you can bring an Alchemist that gives you access to 3 smokebombs which reduces the aggro radius, or an Enchanter can dull the minds by interacting with an object. Maybe a Miner can dismantle a wall to skip three packs of mobs that you could otherwise use a Warlock gate to skip. Tailors can give access to a net which lets non-DK grab lots of mobs.
Not every utility available in every dungeon, and the source of it can be thematical, but it's a way to give access to utility that the group otherwise does not have.

love the pod, and the peeps! i gotta say though, the whole "negative toxicity is infesting everything" "negativity is more profitable than being positive" is kinda hollow, coming from 3 people whos main content is class guides and whos profitability hinges on retail being a great enough experience that people will play the game enough to want to look up your guides.
Just accept that you are as biased as the negativity streamers, i watch your guides, i like what retail is, but i do remember the better times, i would love for mythic raiding to become more accessible by something as simple as using the boss-lockout system instead of the instancewide one. If not moving entirely to a flex format.
It's too easy to wipe away criticism, when there's plenty of things the game can improve on, the game was better 10 years ago, by all metrics (except for the monetary, which the cash shop made sure of) so trying to pull the game in a more mmo'ey direction shouldnt be discarded as negativity.

Hello friendos, I'll cut to the chase and this was already mentioned in a way but you essentially didn't stay "on topic" for what the podcast was labelled as from the start. You were just having a chat with Naguura and getting her opinions rather than actually discussing how to improve as a player.
The format is going ok so far but the structure does need some work. Covering news at the start is a good spot for it but then you guys just going all over the place rather that sticking to topics for a good amount of time. A good example in this episode is from 18:38 (start of the dungeon pool for season 1 TWW) to 44:25 (just before the UI tip bit) you stick to the general topic of M+ but you switching between talking about TWW dungeon pool to the professions stuff to potential scaling issues in live to general affix stuff and it to me you all just kind of said a whole lot of words that don't really mean anything.
Something I think that could help is going deeper into each part before moving on and going deeper with more things around getting better (as per the label of the podcast). Some examples of this when you have a guest like Naguura is asking questions around the transition at the start of a season when its more about dungeon knowledge rather than just going fast or look at the dungeon journal as talk about how you might deal with something or further to that tell people to go read it themselves.
Overall though the style of podcast and current production value is good, keep it up on that front.
    Your friendo,
    Gression

I mostly disagree with the affixes take. I think having affixes that challenge you can actually be interesting.
Bolstering is largely a great affix design wise. It cant be just unloaded in the healer, it can be counter played by changing routes and more organized killing of the mobs by the dps, which give some priority style builds opportunity to shine.

If you NEED auruas to play the game , then the game design is a bit flawed .. Believe me I use them, but I wish I didn't need to . Which I think boss "tell" design should be better tuned for the players .

I cannot LISTEN to high level WoW players play the game. Let alone watch it. And I've played the game at a highish level for years.
This some weird twich chat/twitter thing ya'll talking about at the end? idk seems pretty simple. Make good game, lots of people play. Game not good, people not play. They've inflated the numbers with classic wow and season of discovery but I'm pretty sure that retail wow trend is still going down (maybe just turned around in DF but how much of that is SoD). When you go down that long it will take time for people to believe again. I'm rooting for the devs but also I have zero faith in their ability to do so.
