This woman has never been to any Afican country. She has been producing anti African videos for a couple of years now. There was a time she was attacking the BAG in Gambia and predicting their failure. But because that has not happened, she is not talking and making fun of them anymore.

I spent time in The Gambia and met Great Folks and not so nice folks. The Taxi driver I met invited me to travel miles away to his home village . I was taken back for his gesture and excepted I met his father brother and all the children in the house all the wives his father had. Treated like family the entire time in Gambia.

Without a doubt we are THE TRIBE-RESPECTFULLY!!
We don’t have a history of beefs and gripes with other tribes AT ALL. NONE whatsoever! This in itself marks a clean slate.
Beyond this, Black Americans need our own NATION! We need LAND!
Apart from Afro Brazilians, Afro Colombians and some Central American Blacks-we alone have been domestically colonized and denied self determination marked by flag, land, language!
We NEED 2 neighboring countries to open their borders and host/cradle our fledgling nation-building.
Which African countries willing to partner with us in our current state will be the strongest allies in the long run.
RESPECTFULLY, we don’t need to go be under Kenyans, Ugandans, Gambians etc…we don’t need to have ourselves annexed to/subordinated to other peoples’ histories, problems, legislation etc!
We need SELF-DETERMINATION and a seat at the United Nations!
Once positioned in lands as refugees, the international community is then compelled to support with aide.
But we don’t need “aide”-we have legal claim of reparations due to us; we have skilled and trained professionals; we have access to resources. We have money.
What we lack is political structure and LAND. To secure this under someone else’s political structure and lands DEFEATS the purpose of our aims towards long awaited goal of SELF GOVERNANCE and SELF DETERMINATION!
We don’t need war with Africans, and that’s EXACTLY what would happen by making our repatriation, restitution, and reparation tied to some other peoples’ system and land!!
    We need our OWN!!!

Some of these points brought out are true. These things happen in many poor countries. Expatriates are targeted for different reasons, but the main reason is for money. I considered Africa as a retirement option but after hearing the difficulties that some expats experience I decided it’s best to go back to Jamaica, my birth country. I have Jamaican friends in The Gambia and would like to visit some day, God willing.

      @Opinlinz 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

You also have to take into consideration that Africa has over 50 countries. Gambia 🇬🇲 is different than Zambia and Zambia 🇿🇲 is different than Namibia 🇳🇦
The poor have always targeted those with money. People who are looking to move abroad need to build relationships with others seeking to do so. That way strong bonds are built.
It's easier to pick couples off or single retirees off because they don't have a group behind them.
The idea of doing things by oneself needs to stop and this is proof of that. Unity is key 🔑

Stop overthinking bro, you're welcomed home, find your niche & do it best. Africans went through colonization just like African Americans have gone through centuries of racial injustices..We are only healing from colonial vestiges & some of our not so educated or the unexposed still view white folks as superior. But that need not drive you nuts, just focus on your thing..I saw the same phenomenon with African Americans especially at work place, they'd quickly report me to the white Mzungu bosses but I understood our folks still got issues wherever in the world you find them. So this inferiority complex disorder is not only limited to Africans..I see African American celebraties dropping their "before success" black girlfriends to marry white women right "after success"....It is an illness afflicting the weak ones in the African world.
Oppressed people allover the world got this problem...I also found white Irish people to have the same type of sentiments towards the English who colonized Ireland back in history..

Thank you for sharing the video from your perspective. She made some very valid points. I differ in some of your opinions. 1. When Black Americans are being robbed in Gambia I HIGHLY doubt that the perpetrators are other Black Americans. Remember we already have access to money. We are adding to your countries not taking. In that way Black Americans are a plus to your economy. 2. It is not universal to have to grease someone's palms for every little thing. I find many Africans think that way. It's part of the culture in many African countries. 3. In the USA most of the times its normal to do certain things for free. My neighbor needs help. We don't charge money. If a friend needs a ride. We don't charge money. We are not expected to be paid. In fact, it's very offensive to charge someone who needs help. If the person you have helped INSISTS on paying cash for you good deed, then you can take it. Otherwise, accept a heartfelt thank you as your payment.

Unfortunately Jamaica still hasn’t gotten the memo. You as a Jamaican can’t go to China and own land. Learn to read those people you allow in your space. Very interesting. Being Black does not make one an African or a Gambian. The narration shed light on typical American attitudes - All countries with black skin found in different continent are not a place of privileges and domination of Black Americans. So far, watching African podcasts it appears as warm hearted countries. Africa is deeply rooted to their culture and with their ancestorial linkage. We need to respect them not to lecture them what is good or bad for them. And...bad, crooked, and criminals are found in every countries.

My question (?) Are these same people who are confronting AA attacking the Chinese, the whites or the Lebanese probably not. Those people purchase/developer more land in Africa period than most AA’s who are there. They’re not being attacked even when they mistreat our brothers & sisters, band them from living or eating in their establishments. This is so sad what some of the Gambian people are doing to the black Americans
The Gambians don't realise what their actions against innocent African Americans can cause Gambians
Example. If African Americans return back to America because some of the Gambians made them feel uncomfortable in Gambia
After returning back to America, they tell their loved ones, their government, they go on radio and television talk shows, and their church members of what the Gambians did to them. Immediately, African Americans become angry with the Gambians and begin to treat the Gambians in America the same way Africans Americans are treated in the Gambian, and the Gambians in America feel so uncomfortable in America they return home to Gambia.
Things can really get out of control between black americans and Gambians
We don't need to be fighting each other
No Gambians in America that I have heard of complaining of being robbed by a black american
    This must stop immediately.
If the Gambians don't want African Americans getting free land
Don't get angry with African Americans
Get angry with your Chiefs or government that's giving away free land to African Americans
Whosoever is attaching African Americans in the Gambian please stop before there is retaliation from African Americans in America on innocent Gambians
Lastly,it seems like it's going to take slavery in Africa to bring black people together
The world 🌎 care nothing about black people

I think the robbing goes across the board. When you have a small percentage of people in a place and the majority of that small percentage is getting picked off it is very alarming.

When you to go Afrikan countries and act like the other Americans, what do you expect? If you go anywhere in the world and you don't interact with the local people , but only when you wanna buy land , you will certainly face the same resentments, so Afrika is no exception. Those who travelled to the continent and left their Americaness behind , do not face this type of issue. Some are even trying the local cuisines as well as learning how to speak the local language. It is worth pointing out that, some who put out information like this are plants. Not everyone in the US is happy with the current trend of our US brothers and sisters wanting to travel to Afrika, so to put a stop it, people like her are used to push very negative narratives about Afrikan countries.

Oh and one more thing we need to stop airing our laundry out on the internet if you have a problem with somebody from the diaspora you need to sit down and talk about it. If the government is guilty of doing these things then they need to be held accountable

I'm not sure about this as I am in gambia now, and the gambian people do lobe and admire returnees like jamacian, for example. I haven't seen sight of any hatred, and I brought land in gambia, and Americans are buying too.

Ghana was not the 1st country to open up for Black Americans to go stay. Black Americans have been moving all over Africa for years! Especially Jamaicans migrating to Ethiopia because of Selassie.

These people are not your friends guys. They don’t see themselves the same issue either. We basically got abandoned by both sides of our heritage. When are you guys gonna accept that?
