I feel so bad asking my friends in Gaza “how are you?”. My friends are not fine. I am frustrated and feel useless. I want so badly to get them out of there. Grown men are breaking down and I don’t have the tools to help them. I don’t even have the words.

I really love the way Nora asks very simple and straightforward questions of those interviewed particularly in conflict zones. Its a pretty stark contrast to Amy Goodman, who for whatever reason feels it necessary to ask 5 questions at once of a reporter on a delay with a bad connection. DN would do well to look towards someone such as Nora when the time comes.
