One thing to add to your list. It took about 200 hours for me to find out you can tab across to an inventory tab at the ripper doc and purchase mods and mod crafting specs.
One important tactic that i definitely enjoy is the gigs and side quests that give bonuses for remaining undetected. If you stealth through the job and the fixer calls you at the end to tell you what a good sneaky job you did, you can immediately go back and zero everyone and disregard stealth entirely for the loot and xp.since the job is technically over at that point, it doesn't matter how stealthy you are anymore. Get in, get out, job done, go back and murder everyone :)
[XP Farm Tip] Another thing I found about quite late into my second run... Using the Target Analysis (eye mod) makes all weapons non-lethal. Thought this was a dumb mod but it actually allows you to defeat your enemies twice, doubling the xp/sc and money (single loot only still). First defeat is non-lethal, then a single punch in the nuts kills them once more. Also note, even quickhacks like Suicide would be non-lethal.
You still have to be careful with splash damage though. I love that grenades are high tech with the limpet option and stick to enemies. I like to quickly throw two grenades to stick one on each leg and then land one on their head.
Haven't seen this mentioned but it really helped me out a lot: let's say you like a piece of clothing and hate the fact that you have to wear ugly clothes for the stats. If the piece of clothing you like has upgrade slots then you can craft an Armadillo mod for armor which makes the base value on equipment a joke. I have single pieces of clothing with over 400-500 armor and can definitely focus more on the looks of my character than getting blasted by the enemies because my equipment is so bad.
You actually get the legendary crafting upgrade for System Reset during your first quest with Nix, decrypt the shard you buy for him as soon as you collect it, as it is removed after quest completion
When saving Nix during Kold Mirage, you do not have to hack the computer as there is switch on the right side of the door that lest you cut the power. This is useful to know if one has not put any points intohacking :)
Just start on hard difficulty and you will almost always need to rely on a playstyle, even in early game. Normal and lower are basically story only mode.
@@joe125ful Keep an eye out for the Overwatch sniper rifle; it's the only one that comes equiped with a silencer. @@jadedrivers6794 I cant use Silenced SPT32 GRAD cause need blue one and than purp one,but who cares?I can one shot anything without scope too. btw guys in case you get the tranquilizer darts, since you only knock down the enemies you can shoot them again and get double XP. Very nice and helpful
Another note is if you are using the Legendary short circuit quick hack to augment your damage, if the quick hack damage is what "kills' them they will be merely knocked out and you can then finish them off for nice bonus XP.
Speaking of dumpsters: I noticed if you have a "take out people non lethaly" type side objective, DO NOT dump them there. It will count as a kill for some reason
Good to know! A tip about that thats kind of the reverse, if you need to takedown someone with non lethal, right after the mission completes you can lethal finish the person with no penalty. Gets you a solid bonus of Eddie's and SC experience
@@IronToast yeah i do something like that all the time. Or when it asks not to set off the alarm, I come back, kill everything and then take my time to loot. Npcs might even open doors I didn't manage to open myself

You can also use system reboot to let enemies drop their weapon twice. Happened to me on a Cyberpsyco who droped two legendary katanas. Also that quickhack is stupidly strong against them, as they just drop unconscious winning you the fight without killing them.
System Reset Ultimate Quickhack. Cyber Psycho - dead. Enemy 30 levels above you - dead. Pretty much the same glitch as with the tranquilizer darts on rocket arm. Because it only knocks them out. If you want, you can then proceed to kill the enemy already lying on the ground with one shot.
This game is soooo good. I already 100% it, played through all endings and am now on my 2nd gender character. Wish I could memory wipe quickhack myself and enjoy it again
Hey man I just wanted to say that out of ALL the game channels I watch covering this game that you are by far the BEST at showing us the actual game and its full glory instead of constantly downing the game. Really appreciate that. :D
Indeed. I struggle to find anything fresh in any GTA anymore. The only game that I and other players are still finding stuff in after 12 years is Saints Row 2.
A few things I've seen complaints about of it being shallow and lacking seem to have just been hidden deeper. The implications of lifepaths or hidden consequences of blue dialogue for example.
Tip - Leveling Athletics corresponds with using stamina. Equipping a sledge to jump while swinging drains much stamina. Try not to empty the stamina bar completely though (the red weight symbol will appear while stamina is regained to max), and just wait for stamina to refresh. Most Strength based tests (opening stuck doors/windows) also levels up athletics.
It was bad before where without Berserk it could take a real time hour punching walls etc. That just sucked. Now it isn't that bad and I like the immersion of training it up. I can understand why others wouldn't but I wouldn't say it is broken anymore.
Legendary hacks are also pretty over tuned as well. Legendary ping + system reset, sonic shock, suicide makes stealth trivial. The legendary ping lets you hack targets through walls.
Hey another great video yet again man! Few things I discovered: -I did testing with stacking multiple mods, like increased crit chance, and it seems like you don't get an increase putting more than one on, armor+ mods stack but I discovered crit ones don't, didn't try everything but movement speed mods also don't increase past the first mod. (EDIT: seems im mistaken, mods do add up but will not stack if you install duplicates on the same item) Good tip to know so you're not wasting a good mod for nothing. Although the stats and DPS are weird, like constantly fluctuating. Could definitely use more testing on it haha. -those mods that "increase damage by 8" are pretty useless on most guns, adding 8 damage to a sniper that does 1100 damage a shot is not going to make any difference, but they make shotguns DPS skyrocket, because shotguns are (damage range) multiplied by 7, 12, up to 20 depending on the shotgun, so that +8 damage is actually (at best, x20 on crushers) +8x20 which obviously gives you +160 damage -personally, I always use quickhacks to shut down security cameras instead of shooting them, but you can get a lot of xp if you walk up to them and "turn off" the camera, even after you've deactivated it. Its a good habit to make, I think you get about 120-150 xp in engineering when you do that. Anyways again thanks for the good tips! You're a national hero.
@@lucianjaeger1708 oh this a good tip, I've been struggling with those quests as I'm all into blades atm. Also I really wanted to like the mantis blades but i actually like the katana much better.
@@MNewton Another trick is to drop a heavy melee weapon into the ring first. During the fight you can press the hotkey listed on the screen to auto-equip it.
Guys, for Athletics just use berserk->heavy swing with a katana->pause before animation ends->check to see if athletics percentage is going up. You can literally do this from level 1-20 in one go. It’ll take some time so just AFK at pause screen, no spamming anything.
As you progress through the story V's apartment will update with various items. For example when you finish all of the boxing missions there will be a pair of boxing gloves on the shelf and when you finish Judy's storyline there will be a box with a scuba suit in it. There is also a closet in the apartment with some clothes in it that could come in handy at the beginning of the game.
Something I didn't realize at first. If a quest has multiple objectives you can select between them in the journal. Which will then change your map marker. Don't know why I didn't just know this, but had to figure it out
Out of all the "tips and tricks" videos I have watched for this game, your video's are by far the best. I find myself saying "Wow I didn't know that" or "That's cool" quite often when watching your videos. Thank you for your hard work.
When you find a group of enemies that respawn just drive into them with a vehicle, collect the drops, drive around the corner and repeat. If you don’t kill them right away just park on them get out of the car and shoot them while they are pinned down for easy headshots.
Worth noting that Backpack, Apt. Stash and Car Stash can each store up to the maximum amount of ammo. Not that running out is much of a concern in the first place but for sniper or shotgun ammo it can be nice to be able to summon your car and have an additional 100rds. at hand.
2 pieces of advice if you want more consumables. 1. Scrap stuff from vending machines (the parts generally sell for much more than the cost for one). 2. craft then scrap consumables (which often give more parts than they cost). Not to mention consumables crafting specs are like 30 EDs as opposed to their weapon counterparts which are several thousand (though may require street cred).
I will say that a graphical and/or a performance revamp as well. The game was made with RTX in mind. For us, the 90% of the player base for this game, that don't own a RTX card (consoles included) the lighting and shadows look extremely bad, like, dated bad and unrealistic. Some of the textures don't even render properly. There are plenty of problems regarding this aspect than the "gameplay" and balance problems.
Car handling, gun moding, car moding, plastic surgery same as in Saint Row 3,more crazy DLC missions, your character setup not affect base stats:Be faster or stronger. I expect i can throw ppls with Gorila hands..very dissapointed:(:(
@@cerebrus_gacha They're definitely not going to up the fidelity for consoles or low spec, maybe optimize a bit, but there's no way they'd make the game run even worse on 5+ year-old hardware. I get fixing actual borked gfx issues, naturally.
An important find that isn't told about is when you find perk shards items that give you a free perk point, you actually have the option to learn them instead of taking them. This gives you two perk points instead of one and it acts exactly like your taking them. Definitely useful towards endgame when you really start to run out of ways to earn more perk points.
My biggest tip is read the database. I didn’t even know it existed until after 15 ish hours of gameplay. It details most of the controls/interface that aren’t mentioned in-game and also has really amazing lore, character bios, and weapon/vehicle descriptions.
you can run faster than the fastest car with perfect precision using the double jump and sandivistan. Just do the double dash aim thing and spam space bar test it my guy, i never drive anymore. It bypasses the graphic glitch of getting in and out of vehicles, and you don't gotta call ur car anymore. Acceleration is 0-60 in literal 0 seconds and you can turn on a dime, even 180
One nice little tip, if you want to craft a stack of something: you press hold the button to craft and it pops up with the slider to say how many, if you press up then it goes to max. But then if you press down it goes down by half, and then down again it goes to half of that, and half again and again. Say you press up and it offers to craft you 160 MaxDoc. You press down and it says 80, press down again it says 40, down again it says 20, down again it says whatever half of 20 is. It's not a massive time saver, or even particularly useful, but it is a nice touch
so, if you didn't know, the sniper that Panam gives you, called "overwatch" is the most OPd weapon in the game. Its weapon blurb mentions that no cover can stop its bullet, and its not wrong, if you ping enemies, and just aim at them thru whatever cover is there, it hits.
Yeah I got it up to 1200 dps and I think I need to ban myself from using it anymore, killing ten people through 3 layers of concrete with a silenced weapon is just TOOOO much
@@fraserhussey6189 you can replay the final mission if you’d like. The game reloads you to the checkpoint before the final mission but you can keep iconic weapons you have picked up during the final missions. Other then that it’s pretty bland.
@@fraserhussey6189 There is none in my experience, before the final mission you get a warning that it is a point of no return. Basically you get a chance to wrap up all your missions, find hidden ones, finish your build, make money, get achievments, etc. . If you want to freeroam, you can do that, but the game does not offer much that it does not already do while going through the story. You can reload your last save after finishing the game for a little reward, that is it
Athletics skill is raised from burning stamina. So while using the quick melee will do the job so will anything that burns a lot of stamina fast. After burning about 500 stam you will get 20 exp towards athletics.
I mean it is, Just depends on how high your are. Did you just smoke body melting head trip nine thousand? or just a nice light head high? Weed is never that simple considering the many diffrent types of strains and targeted uses
I was atleast as far in. It's not that I've never seen it before, but I never thought of it. It's so much better to keep te game flowing when you're playing. There isn't even just 1 quicksave slot so no need to worry about overwriting your last quicksave immediately.
Yeah, I found the Rocket Launcher Arm augment to be quite disappointing overall, but the tranquillizer mod is so OP on the other hand .. an easy solution to balance it is to give it limited ammo like any other regular weapon, say 5 shots so once you enter combat (as you can't craft ammo mid combat) that's all you can use until you end combat, then just amp up the blast damage of the regular rockets and give them much more OOMPH, I want massive explosions that send enemies and debris flying in all directions (right now they are only good for blowing up cars and not much else, regular grenades can do the same job much easier and for much cheaper). Also something a lot of people don't know about (it's available in the database but not on screen control for some really bizarre reason even though the devs themselves joke about it as the "most important feature in the game") cars actually have horns and headlights in Cyberpunk, it's Left Ctrl for the horn and Alt for the headlights, it's not a game changer but it makes driving more immersive and fun, all in all I think a lot of people are missing out on the Database which can be fun to explore and read, it has a lot of lore and some beautiful concept art.
Excellent advice. Just slow down with points on the map and talking so fast? At 67 yrs old this old man he needs to pause and rewind alot? Hey great advice again. thanks.
One "tip" that I just discovered is that jobs will be less difficult as you level. I know that this sounds like a "Well, duh!" thing, but in my current playthrough, I got out of Dex's car and decided that I was going to go do all the gigs and side jobs I could before advancing the main quest any more, so I did. Being low level (at the time), I avoided jobs with a "very high" danger level and focused on moderate and below. As time went on, the descriptions on those left-alone "very high" missions changed to "high" and then to "moderate" as I levelled.
High difficulty gameplay in Cyberpunk is Very Easy Stealth gameplay. Though my current build -> 12 cool -> Reflexes 20 -> Now I'm going for 20 int with supressed revolver... The game was complete around level 12 when I got my first Overture and a silencer :D It's really fun though still, I do around 50k headshot damage (Overture bought from NPC) with no cheesy mods, but I do get one shot quite often... Also a good cyberdeck for any build is a good investment, 2 knockouts System Reset is god tier for stealth characters.
Crafting weapons you don't need to click out just click the weapon again. Also if you see a greater DPS. It's cause the passive is physical and not the other status effects. Each roll for weapon gets rolled every time you click on it so if you wanna get stats you want you have to save scum. This tip works for upgrading iconics. Also this works best for melle weapons as slower attack speed = higher base damage, so you can see choose out of those choices.
17:35 Correction on the Efficient Upgrades perk, it actually does have a small chance to upgrade an iconic weapon and duplicate them. I upgraded my CRASH revolver from rare to Legendary and ended up with 2. A rare one and a Legendary one, the chance is small, but it does work. I thought it was some kind of bug, having forgotten Efficient Upgrades.
Regarding performance on Pc I highly suggest looking up GamersNexus last video on cyberpunk. They tested the performance and visual effect of every setting.
If you’re a cyber hack based character you don’t have to really farm daemons, there’s a perk that lets you find them 100% of e time when breaching an access point, and any that requires technical ability 9 or higher is a guaranteed epic or legendary. Took me like 10 minutes of running around missions in Heywood (because usually there’s at least 1 access point at every mission) to get a full cyberdeck of 6 legendary daemons, which on an unrelated topic the ones I got AND used were Contagion, Overheat, Short Circuit, Ping, Reboot Optics, and Detonate Grenade. Plus, legendary daemons sell for €$700 apiece, so while I’m not 100% certain on how efficient the VDB alleyway is at getting them, say if it’s faster than doing missions, if you haven’t drained Heywood or City Center (both being high level areas, have level 9+ access points), of missions, it’s a pretty easy way to boost your money and get some good quickhack upgrades free... Then again, if you’re a quickhack based build you probably already know about the entire novel of BS I just typed, so
Fun combo I've found is combining the Ping deamon and a power sniper rifle (I only really use Overwatch) allows me to snipe people through walls and other cover. Haven't really found a limit for this
Good info. And yes, cyberpunk is a power fantasy once you have your build, very hard all the way. I started my sword run and I'm slicing and dicing on very hard from the start, I die a bunch, but loading a quick save is easy.
Dude, you are totally underselling the hover legs. They are hands down the best legs in the game. The hover function is only marginally useful, true, but selling point is that you can literally leap over a 3 story building AND you have in air control over your direction. It's short distance flight. The only thing you have to watch out for is sometimes when you are way high up on the rooftops that are normally inaccessible for mere mortals you may find a place that looks like you should be able to stand on it but actually its instant death. Good tip with the quick save though, comes in handy when traversing the rooftops.
Oops, I punched Fingers, then later when I was checking out ripper docs on the map, I ran into him, he wouldn't sell me anything so I killed him and ran away xD
FYI. If you go to Fingers ANYTIME BEFORE that quest, you can buy the Lynx Paws ($85k, no requirements) and the Epic Fortified Ankles ($75k, no requirements) and then still punch him during the quest. Also, it's a pretty good idea to go there early because you can steal Cottonmouth (Rare/Iconic Shock & Poison 1-handed club)
With regards to the enemies dropping extra weapons, you can shoot their limbs with a high caliber weapon for the same effect, and they will drop their current weapon(most of the time, sometimes they just straight out die). The second weapon they switch as far as I know can't be dropped using the same method(as in, no additional weapons can be spawned). It would also seem that the weapon malfunction quick hack can't be used once they switch to the secondary weapon.
Good for crafting mats though. Keep this in mind if CDPR addresses the crafting item economy. The stuff is supposed to be mighty pricey outside of end game but nades and what not break down for some much gain.
About crafting weapons and NOT using the previous version - you should really try it with the correct perk, instead of the upgrade one - Try with ex nihilo perk (the craft for free one) and see if it works. As far as I know, it doesn't work, the perk only works for non "upgrade" - aka specs that have no iconic requirement.
Probably a 5900X or 10900K plus an RTX 3080. My reference is that I have a 9700K and RTX 2080, and with RT features on and set to Ultra, I'm getting 45-60ps at 1080p.
Here's a tip I figured out early on, if you knock out take down an enemy AND THEN finish them off with a weapon or by hand, you get experience, pay, and street cred all again. Basically double everything. I've maxed out street cred right away from this method. And if you don't want to alert enemies when you finish them off, use a knife. Anything else I've tried alerted the enemies.

From my experience I was prevented from going back in by having to hit up a drop point in order to complete the mission
A lifehack: you can go to Fingers before Judy's quest. He's available in his place all the time.
fingers. Cred has to be maxed out before he will have them for sale
You can buy his gear and feel better about punching him later....heard
Wait. Does it increase your armor in turn for making the base value a joke?

Not to mention how stupidly OP Contagion is
Well guess i wont get that cyberware as fingers insides decorated his room,

Hey another great video yet again man!
Few things I discovered:
-I did testing with stacking multiple mods, like increased crit chance, and it seems like you don't get an increase putting more than one on, armor+ mods stack but I discovered crit ones don't, didn't try everything but movement speed mods also don't increase past the first mod.
(EDIT: seems im mistaken, mods do add up but will not stack if you install duplicates on the same item) Good tip to know so you're not wasting a good mod for nothing. Although the stats and DPS are weird, like constantly fluctuating. Could definitely use more testing on it haha.
-those mods that "increase damage by 8" are pretty useless on most guns, adding 8 damage to a sniper that does 1100 damage a shot is not going to make any difference, but they make shotguns DPS skyrocket, because shotguns are (damage range) multiplied by 7, 12, up to 20 depending on the shotgun, so that +8 damage is actually (at best, x20 on crushers) +8x20 which obviously gives you +160 damage
-personally, I always use quickhacks to shut down security cameras instead of shooting them, but you can get a lot of xp if you walk up to them and "turn off" the camera, even after you've deactivated it. Its a good habit to make, I think you get about 120-150 xp in engineering when you do that.

Not that running out is much of a concern in the first place but for sniper or shotgun ammo it can be nice to be able to summon your car and have an additional 100rds. at hand.
Why would Fingers have some of the highest quality mods

2 pieces of advice if you want more consumables. 1. Scrap stuff from vending machines (the parts generally sell for much more than the cost for one). 2. craft then scrap consumables (which often give more parts than they cost). Not to mention consumables crafting specs are like 30 EDs as opposed to their weapon counterparts which are several thousand (though may require street cred).

Get the kereznecov air dodge with those super legs for some crazy arial bullet time fun oh and a smart gun is the cherry on top lol.
You had me at the map part.

Here is my Challenge: Defeat the entire game Only using the plastic disposable guns !
HAHAHAHA I love it! Did you succeed?
Sounds like a win win
If the F5 Quicksave didn't come naturally to you : You're either too young or been playing on a console your whole life...
I am a consple player and i know that 🤣🤣
With regards to the enemies dropping extra weapons, you can shoot their limbs with a high caliber weapon for the same effect, and they will drop their current weapon(most of the time, sometimes they just straight out die). The second weapon they switch as far as I know can't be dropped using the same method(as in, no additional weapons can be spawned). It would also seem that the weapon malfunction quick hack can't be used once they switch to the secondary weapon.
when the enemies drop 2 weapons, their first drop will be a level 1 version
Good for crafting mats though. Keep this in mind if CDPR addresses the crafting item economy. The stuff is supposed to be mighty pricey outside of end game but nades and what not break down for some much gain.

You can shut the power off to save Nix, behind V. Still get system reset.
What setup do you have to be getting such a smooth and consistent frame rate?
The not poor one
Probably a 5900X or 10900K plus an RTX 3080. My reference is that I have a 9700K and RTX 2080, and with RT features on and set to Ultra, I'm getting 45-60ps at 1080p.

Lynx paws are available from another ripperdoc, can't remember which one but it's out there.
Correct, a female ripper in a slum like location, bit hidden. And I think you can get the hover there as well.
