I once attended a wedding event with my wife's family. We were just dating and we were both 19 at the time. The event turned out to be at the same building where my daycare was when I was 3 and 4 years old. It was a large community hall which had an area designated for the daycare. From the moment I set eyes on the place I started having flashbacks of when I was a child, my mom would drop my brother and I off early in the morning and drive off as we cried for her. Later we would go inside, leave our backpacks containing our lunch on individual shelves that were built into the wall and then we would just play on a large carpeted floor with a bunch of different toys until nap time. I remembered a specific train that would wind up and drove on its own that I would always play with... Years later the daycare still runs and everything looked exactly the same from the shelves to the toys specifically the train I used to play with.
Hey Lyd, it's Gary. Thank you so much for doing this video. I live in Girard Ohio and always wondered what the inside of this bank looked like. I also saw the video of the old Rite Aid/Dollar General Building on Churchill Road. Rite Aid in Girard closed about a month ago. It's current building is on Churchill Road and north state street almost across from Margaritas italian Restaraunt.
oh wow, thank you, and in Girard, and Chase, fascinating indeed and the sign, lol....little things as such are always interesting, thank you again. 👍❤🏦🌟📸📲✊./.
Normally the grass is cut at that place we drive past it almost daily. We heard they have some plans for the place. Yea Normally it looks alot nicer there. The caution tape was there to keep cars away during the street festival in Girard.
What a strange little bank... all nestled-up in what looks like a residential neighborhood. Never seen anything like it. (It's only a little creepy in daylight, but I bet it's crazy creepy at night)
Sweet! Thanks, I was hoping to see some outdated bank architecture. I've never seen one like this. Glad too see the gooseneck microphones on the intercoms. Any closed bank, creepy or not, feels dangerous and risky. Thanks for not getting scared off by the giant burglar alarm. Steal that bench!
The bank was a perfect choice for Halloween. There's something creepy about ANY bank, closed or not. They all feel like you're walking into Dracula's castle. And if you're brave enough to add up the fees, you'll understand how they're feeding off of you. 🧟♂️
If they're trying to re-lease the land and building, at least do some landscaping to the lot. I can't imagine the folks in those sweet old houses in the area are happy about it.
I've seen other banks similar to this. When a bank doesn't have room to put in a full drive-thru in their main building, some will build satellite drive-thrus nearby instead. Not sure why they would close this with the main bank still open and what's worse is Chase allowing this property to deteriorate so much right in their back yard.
That old bank would make an awesome drive through coffee hut. However, bank property is insanely expensive because of how they have to build the structure. They are literally built to be completely impenetrable and bomb proof on all sides including the roof and underground.
Yeah, seems PNC's another bank that shuttered a bunch of branches over the past few years. US Bank's another one that did so, so yeah, lots of banks with abandoned branches recently.
I think you are brave filming anywhere - Shadez99 is always being stalked by 'security' [cough]. In the UK you CANNOT film inside a museum or art gallery as they see this as 'staking out the site' with a view of eventual theft, as if I'm gonna steal a Rembrandt or the Elgin Marbles, lol. Abandoned banks may contain security information that is deemed proprietary, so be extremely careful. 🖋 😎

Gorgeous Lydia and a great video. Happy Halloween
I agree banks seem more off limits for some reason.Even though the building is no longer a bank. Creepy for sure. Thank you for your videos.

I don’t remember it looking that bad before either

Nice video. Very appropriate for Halloween!
That console is definitely intercom controls I think that was a camera mount
Thank you! Glad you enjoy it!
Cool! It was warm in North central Vermont, Upper 70s. Weird weather

Trick or Treat, lyd! Hoooowwwwllllllll !
Sweet vid!
The other inside door may be a vault room if not an office.
always GREAT seeing you lyd.....happy halloween from tacoma buterfly girl
Happy Halloween hope was a good one for you.. thanks for youre cool nostalgic vids.. 😅😊
More quality, fun stuff from Lyd! Thank you buddy!

That’s exactly what I was thinking!
I'd rather see "caution tape" than "crime scene tape". Many more thousands of closed banks are coming to a neighborhood near you.

they must have thought there was going to a brake in lol that alarm was huge

That looks like a small branch. Have a safe Halloween too! ❤🎉 🌹🌺🥰😉
So close to a neighborhood and to live in a house next to a bank.
👌Excellent👌 video
Cool!
Happy Halloween and god bless

@SuperBuickregal it's just called tiffin mall.

You should come and check out the "Manchester Inn" in Middletown Ohio
Hi from Dexter🏠Missouri
They tore down a house to build that bank
Happy Halloween!
