Thanks for sharing. My Dyna Glow was doing the same thing and all I had to do was drop the temp sensor out of the back and immediately the heater picked up on actual garage temp. Thanks again
Thanks for the video. Have the same heater and trick did worked. I wonder what external tstat you used and are you able to run the heater with both high and lowI setting? I Tried connecting an ecobee lite 3, while it runs perfectly I noticed that even with the lowest temp (5000W), the heater still runs at High (7500W) setting. Any insight you can share? Thanks
Yeah its just some speaker wire of the same gauge i had laying around. I honestly have about 8 feet extra without issue so im sure 20 ft. Would be just fine

I need to do this myself, is that just speaker wire? Do you think it would matter if I ran it 20 ft to the other side of the garage?
