In the past, I often ate steamed chicken with straw (or hay baked chicken). Because Thai people in the past planted rice or farmed a lot. In their spare time, they raise chickens to eat eggs. At some point, they ate chicken meat and got rid of the leftovers for cultivation. There are fewer left now. I would like to have a gathering of British TH-camrs who come to travel in Thailand once. There are many and each of them has been in this country for a very long time.

My hometown when we post harvesting of rice in winter we have used hay burn for cooking Kai Aob Fang (Roasted Chicken Hay) It's delicious more than if you eat with Som Tum Pu Para 😂
Having such nice people with you on this vlog was great besides the amazing chicken with sticky rice and velvet apple 😋. Looking forward to the 2nd half, I believe it was the coconut farm boat ride or something like that
