@@sylvarixreaper I am PCNA but I appreciate it a lot. I just started Heart of Thorns yesterday after completing the personal story in base game. I think I need around another 100 pts to get Reaper maxed so shouldn't take too too long.

I play a very similar build with some differences:
- only use Eternal Life against powerful enemies, otherwise I always go Death Perception
- Assassin gear where needed in order to reach 75% crit chance before fury
- Sigil of concentration on both weapons+runes of fireworks for an extra 35% boon duration, which is MASSIVE in solo play to help you maintain your boons
- Warhorn for extra cc, quickness, fury and swiftness. I also run relic of speed for an extra boost up to 66% movement speed with swiftness
I think reaper is just very powerful due to being self reliant, so you can experiment and see what fits your style better. I personally enjoy being optimized so 100% crit chance and perma fury, quickness, swiftness and 25 might is very imporant
that's a great build man ! i always tell people to tweak things and not follow 100% its always fun to experiment

Now that necro swords are here, do they fit in anywhere on your builds
already made vids about them and i use the offhand sword a lot in tough solos and dual swords on easy open world cuz its fun and mobile

sorry for another stupid question i was just wondering how much of a difference it makes to replace rise and spectral grasp with well of darkness and well of suffering
Rise is the main survivability skill , it gives 33% damage reduction against whatever mob the rise minions are attacking so its very important specially against champions , u can replace spectral grasp if ur not fighting lot of mobs

For Power Reaper, I've seen gs and sword/dagger or gs and sword/sword, but is gs and staff also viable? Or is sword/sword better, honestly the only reason why I want to do gs staff is because nevermore looks so cool ;-;
that's why i do too ! in open world run whatever you want and also group content as long as its a good build ! i rock Nevermore and Twilight too

How to you get 24k hp. I made the same build and it's just 20k hp.
Level 10 power core on my reaper gives around 240 vitality + 180 vitality from a trait

How bad is it to replace the focus with a warhorn instead
Focus is good for regaining lifeforce , warhorn isnt really that strong the life siphon is so small and the fear is the only good thing about it , but u can do it and regain life force with more dagger auto attacks insteed

remember this is an open world build so its not the best for dps but it have great damage and survivability ! if u want glass cannon dps build check the "snow crows" website its a site for gw2 builds in raids and group content
@@sylvarixreaperyea I just do open world which kind of a bummer cuz some of the achievements I want to finish have to do strike missions. But I’m running sig of vamp sig of spite two shouts and chilled to the bone with mabon relic. Might is never ending which is great. Just getting tired of running the same thing. Running yours today can’t wait. Keep it up brother.

I dont really get it i see power reaper build that do 35k dmg but with this build you dont get nowhere near this, not even with changes in attributes to get the most dmg possible Im stuck about 22dmg tops
the builds you see are raid builds and they are glass cannon there is no protection or tankiness just pure dps and anyone can reach 35k dps with those builds if u get the rotation right , this my friend is an "Open World" build its a mix of survivability and damage we arnt focusing on dps cuz we arnt in a squad being healed and getting buffed we are our own healer and buffer and damage so u need to know the difference between open world builds that's made for solo play and raid/group content builds if u wanna maximize your dps use the build from "Snowcrows" website and if u wanna chill solo champions do open world stuff while ur chilling solo use this ...

staff build is more casual id say this is better for tougher content ! staff is good when u wanna aoe mobs while u farm and its important specially in the Halloween event to farm for Halloween bags probably best build to farm it

hahaha i used to be like that and i worked for it ! an advise is start with dungeon armor they look great if u want deathly skin start with the Arah dungeon armor

Is this build outdated? Snowcrows Power Reaper builds have different specs than you, so I'm wondering if this needs an update!
snowcrows builds are pure dps builds made for raids and group content so its glass cannon ! this is an open world build for solo play

@@Kabo0m. u should use snowcrow builds if ur doing raids or fractals or strikes but in open world u need a survivable build like this cuz u'll be solo most of the time
@@Kabo0m. u can decide on what u enjoy most ! power reaper is good for aoeing mobs in the open world and doing things quick ! condi is slower but more sustain

Utility spectral walk/armor, grasp, well of darkness, chilled to the bone.
No swiftness = bad open world build.
fuck swiftness ! good open world build means u can take out anything in open world ! what's swiftness gonna do ? help u run away ? and ur not a ranger to kite mobs getta outa here xD
@@sylvarixreaper what happens when u kill 1 mob then ?? you try to get ooc for mob 2feet away or try to 🐌 to the mob lol.
If you play long enough you know it feels bad without swiftness.
Edit: Trust in my build, run around and try. I have lot of exp on necro :)
I'm trying not to mention the nerdge of how the traits i mentioned are net positive tradeoff wise.

@@sylvarixreaper I very much appreciate it, but I'm on a U.S. Server. I've been staying in Central Tyria, but realized I can get Hero Points 10x faster by doing expansions, I was trying to do the story mostly in order, but it's just more efficient game play to get gliding, better mounts, etc, then go back.
